Great out of the box items.

Walking around the most recent Eat The Streets, I stumbled onto this lunch wagon and was craving fries. Well lo and behold, they have fries! But not just fries, but fries with pork, sauce, cheese, egg, jalapeno, pineapples......what, pineapple? Holy freaky food Batman, let's do it. Well, I really really was hoping for something mind blowing, but what I got was fries, with toppings placed in areas of the fries, almost like a bi Bim bap bowl before you mix it, so wasn't sure how to eat it. When I did finally decide to dive right in......it was just fries with nothing special, anyone can make it with a bag of frozen fries, cutting board, knife, and a refrigerator of food. Let's not forget the pineapple...yep, I learned a lesson, fruit and potatoes don't pair well together in my book. I do want to give them props for being different and trying. Not to mention the employees were nice. I think in another year with a tweak to the menu, they could be a contender.

    A must try!

We enjoyed a scrumptious day at the Kapolei Eat the Street and were heading back to the car but on our way we saw something irresistible...Mega-Load Burgers! Boy was I glad we stopped! They had so many mouth watering choices, which they had out on display. We decided on the Three Little Pigs (three beef sliders with ham, pulled pork and cheese and a side of fries). Unfortunately I can't remember what we paid for it because my memory is clouded with pure deliciousness! Whatever the cost it was worth it! They had such a great way of re-purposing the outside of the pineapple they used for their Lihing pineapple by using it as a bowl for their fried rice. I love those types of creative ideas! The flavors were out of this world! The smokiness of the pork worked so well with the saltiness of the ham. My only critique is that the burger itself was a little dry but other than that excellent. I would definitely visit again to try that awesome fried rice.

waited over 1 1/2 hrs - it was really good though ! Looks like a lot but not really mostly pineapple at the bottom

Amazing sliders. Juicy and not greasy. Who knew such creativity and talent would be housed in a food truck.

I love how the menu is simple and you can choose all of your add-ons. The Cajun fries were great, and the strawberry milkshake had strawberry chunks and a smooth consistency that wasn't overly thick, making it easy to drink. There's plenty of convenient parking, and the staff were friendly.

But after the last 2- times , done with spending hard earned money on food being served that's not up to standards. Food: on the , Second Chance, To make Good... -Ordered simple BLT Sandwich. Cause the burger the last time was horrible. I felt how can you mess up on a simple BLT... my first Bite was , no way.... I opened the sandwich up and also tried to chew on the first bite.... had to spit it out. The Bacon was Burnt, Black like charcoal, dry and old... How and Why would you even serve old, burnt, tomato end pieces, lettuce so wilted..why would you even serve it... I took it to the manager and explained.. when me and my wife walked in here earlier, there was looks like a party was happening?? About 5--6 cooks and yourself blasting the music , cooking , joking , having fun.... Nothing wrong with have fun at work, but not in the service area of Customers...There's Other restaurants closing cause times are hard and expensive. How Hard is it to make a BLT Sandwich...at 7pm. -Managers answer: sorry we cook bacon only in the morning.... why would you disclose that it's that old... I had to ask the manager can I get a new sandwich?? Which I got a veggie sandwich.. it wasn't worth the price either, but I was Hungry and irate with the way it was handled. -Hospitality Education should be implemented to save this good Restaurant. -Service: Again, Hospitality Education will Help, also discipline and Professionalism. Ambiance: Nice, that's what got the stars . The other star was for the Fresh Fries End of the Day , I told the manager about how Kua Ainas Burger place was once a go to place for Burgers. Maybe, the managers and workers started to loose their focus on Professionalism, Food Quality, and Customer Satisfaction. I was going to snap a picture, but I think I got the message across too- the Hungry Locals and Visitors to the Islands. E mālama pono Aloha

They were so good! Their customer service was amazing! The staff was nice on the phone and when I arrived at the bar. I got my food relatively quick. When I arrived I didn't have to wait too long for my food and it tasted amazing! True it's a bit pricey, but what isn't in this economy, plus it's bar food what I paid is what I expected. The place was also very clean and there were lots of tvs playing the news and various sports channels. This would seem like a great place to go with friends or a large group. I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the inside but they had a lot of great sports decor and other decorations/pictures on the wall. So would I recommend you give them a chance? Yes, at least from my experience of their takeout... I will def be back.

This place really isn't my vibe, but decided to give it a chance after years last week Friday. First, the parking lot is horrendous. I would throw in the towel and just park on the street if I ever return. The lanes are really narrow and everyone and their children are in this area! I felt like we were totally rushed. We got there around 5:30pm and was already out the door a bit after 6pm because I felt like we were being ushered to leave. The waitress who served us didn't offer my date another drink and sat a family of 5 or 6 right behind us on the lower deck when there were so many other tables that were available. We ordered the Chef's Salad and the Salt and Pepper wings . The highlight was the wings with ranch dressing. Meh. Don't know if I'll be back again.

Food? High quality ingredients, beautifully prepared and presented…read more Service? I was on the fence about ordering salmon katsu or salmon misoyaki. When I asked the young guy at the counter, his face lit up and he said, no question, order the misoyaki! The idea that a teenager or 20-something dude could light up and be animated about the food blew me away! His recommendation was PERFECT! It was a delightful dish that's been decribed by other reviewers. The fish was perfectly cooked; moist and flavorful. The corn hijiki was delicious. The highlight was the Japanese quick pickled cucumber slices. They were slightly crisp and super flavorful. I couldn't have asked for anything more in this dish. It was outstanding! The serving size was big enough to split and feed us amply.. I ordered the Nishime veg to go. When we visited Japan last year, I became a huge fan of root veg simmered in a dashi soy broth. I adore burdock and lotus roots. This had good flavor although sweeter than I would have preferred, and the veg was way too soft. However, it was a large portion for $10.50 and tasted healthy and heart warming. Ambiance? Most people are ordering take-out here although there are several tables at which to eat. The place is immaculate with no dusty decor. The origami cranes hanging from the ceiling is a lovely touch. We enjoyed hanging out and eating here. Even though I live in Waikiki, I would totally come back here as the food and service is that good!
