Avoid using curbside pickup at this McDonald's. I ordered through the app expecting fast, convenient service, but instead I sat waiting for 10 minutes while drive-thru cars that came after me got their food first. This has happened to me more than once, so it's clearly a pattern and not just a bad day. If you choose curbside, don't expect prompt service. This is the closest location to my work. I will give them a compliment first. You move cars fairly quickly thru the drive thru. I went inside with no customers in front of me and waited 15 minutes to be served 2 coffees. No they did not need to make a new pot. It was because they were only serving the drive thru. I need to get to work like the other customers and cannot wait that long to be served. What happened to McDonald's customer service inside this location? Additionally, on a separate occasion I ate a hamburger here that made me so sick that I can only order coffee from this location it brings up such bad memories. This is maybe the cheapest McDonalds in South OC. By cheap I mean the owners are clearly doing everything they can to save every penny they can. No napkins anywhere on any tables, one tiny container of ketchup at the front desk that they monitor. No drink fountain. I've never seen a McDonald's that doesn't have a drink fountain. None of the other McDonald's in the area are run this way. Had a craving for a filet of fish sandwich so drove through McDonald's and got a cheeseburger and a fish sandwich with an unsweetened ice tea. The service was good and food was hot and tasty. I don't ever take the time to do a review but believe me when I say this place deserves it. I live a block away from this place and I will NEVER go here again. It was bad enough they got my order wrong every single time (always forgetting something) but the 3rd time the morning manager came out to my car and asked me to never come back. That we just cannot serve you because apparently we never get the order right. I've called the BBB I've called corporate and I've made a formal complaint with the city after this. I didn't lose my cool I simply explained to her to take the food back and that I have no interest in ever going back. My order was for my kids, something quick and easy so my pregnant wife didn't have to make food. And the reason I'm so I'm particular is because KIDS are particular. My son asks why didn't I get a hash brown, or why didn't I get a sandwich and you know what? He's right! If I ordered and paid for it why didn't he get it? The nerve of the manager to take a customers money, then come out to the curb when the order was wrong for the 3rd time and say hey not only do I remember you, but it's not our fault it's yours "don't come back" if you don't like it. That whole god damn staff needs to be fired and they need a revamp. They do not belong here in this community with that shit attitude. This is a family friendly neighborhood with nurses, doctors, police officers, firemen and more that contribute to our community. On a quest for Happy Meal toy series but in general, I like this local McDonald's the best because it's not as crowded and there are shops across the way. Went in last Thursday, asked the gentleman at the counter about the Happy Meal toy series and he made the effort to bring it to me so I could look inside the box. This McDonalds location isn't the best it is "The Best" location. The staff was friendly and patient no matter how many different questions I had and they did not make me feel rushed. The restrooms (speaking for the women's restroom only) were well maintained, stocked and clean, clean, clean. The shift manager Samuel gets an A+ rating from me and I am unsure the young ladies name (guessing) Evelyn gets an A+ rating as well. The dining area was clean and tidy even during the busiest time of day (evening rush hour). I highly recommend this location as "The" McDonalds to frequent. To top it off, his language was laced with profanity--something that might be acceptable in casual settings, but never in a professional environment. This location is the worst. We arrived before noon and the food was not fresh. The nuggets and fries tasted like they were reheated from the night before. Many of the staff we've encountered were nice, friendly, and competent. They work hard, from what I can tell at the drive thru. Can this McD be improved? Absolutely. Is it super horrible? Not at all. I see a lot of people don't like this place, but there always seem to be a line at the drive thru. It can't be that bad. Btw, if management or any staff is reading this, my usual order is 2 biscuits with added folded egg and american cheese. There's an option on the menu where you can order just the biscuit and then modify it by adding folded egg and american cheese. I haven't been to this Mcdonald's in ages, but it did not disappoint. I got gas at the Mobil across the street and knew I wanted to pick up Mcdonald's for lunch. I usually go to the one by Trabuco Hills High School because it is closer to my house, but I knew it would be crowded because it was lunch time. The drive thru here was much quicker, although when it was my turn to order a long line had started to form. I just got a chicken nuggets combo with fries and a sprite. I didn't have to wait long at all for my food and it was still warm when I got home. I might end up coming here more often for my Mcdonald's lunch runs. read more

So, I am typically an anti- McDonald's person so this review holds pretty heavy weight because I am recommending this location! I have made a visit to this location a couple times expecting to be disappointed, but I haven't been. Today, I got my favorite on their menu- the Quarter pounder with cheese (extra onions). The meat tasted well cooked, the onions were crisp, the bun was not stale, and the servers were pleasant. They updated the exterior not too long ago and it looks great! Accessing the location isn't terribly difficult, and the lot has not been congested during my visits. Good job McD's! read more
