Avoid using curbside pickup at this McDonald's. I ordered through the app expecting fast, convenient service, but instead I sat waiting for 10 minutes while drive-thru cars that came after me got their food first. Had a craving for a filet of fish sandwich so drove through McDonald's and got a cheeseburger and a fish sandwich with an unsweetened ice tea. The service was good and food was hot and tasty. On a quest for Happy Meal toy series but in general, I like this local McDonald's the best because it's not as crowded and there are shops across the way. Went in last Thursday, asked the gentleman at the counter about the Happy Meal toy series and he made the effort to bring it to me so I could look inside the box. This McDonalds location isn't the best it is "The Best" location. The staff was friendly and patient no matter how many different questions I had and they did not make me feel rushed. The restrooms (speaking for the women's restroom only) were well maintained, stocked and clean, clean, clean. The shift manager Samuel gets an A+ rating from me and I am unsure the young ladies name (guessing) Evelyn gets an A+ rating as well. The dining area was clean and tidy even during the busiest time of day (evening rush hour). I highly recommend this location as "The" McDonalds to frequent. When I asked for a simple adjustment to my order, he sighed heavily, rolled his eyes, and muttered under his breath. But what truly took the cake was when, in the middle of our interaction, Matthew casually picked his nose. ‍ Not only is this behavior unsanitary, but it is also completely unacceptable in a customer-facing role. To top it off, his language was laced with profanity--something that might be acceptable in casual settings, but never in a professional environment. The combination of his poor manners, lack of hygiene, and inappropriate language left a sour taste in my mouth, and not from the food. Our order included a Happy Meal. Got home and realized the Happy Meal was missing a fry and the milk was leaking. I called and the manager she added my name to a list to allow us a free happy meal. She was very kind when I called. I don't live in the area so it took about 3 weeks to get back. Got home with our free happy meal- which was in a paper bag- not the normal Happy Meal box- and it was missing fries and the toy. We really do love going to McDonald's, we definitely try to share a lot and not each order so many things. We usually get a cheeseburger, medium fry to split and water. Many of the staff we've encountered were nice, friendly, and competent. They work hard, from what I can tell at the drive thru. Can this McD be improved? Absolutely. Is it super horrible? Not at all. I see a lot of people don't like this place, but there always seem to be a line at the drive thru. It can't be that bad. Btw, if management or any staff is reading this, my usual order is 2 biscuits with added folded egg and american cheese. There's an option on the menu where you can order just the biscuit and then modify it by adding folded egg and american cheese. I haven't been to this Mcdonald's in ages, but it did not disappoint. I got gas at the Mobil across the street and knew I wanted to pick up Mcdonald's for lunch. I usually go to the one by Trabuco Hills High School because it is closer to my house, but I knew it would be crowded because it was lunch time. The drive thru here was much quicker, although when it was my turn to order a long line had started to form. I just got a chicken nuggets combo with fries and a sprite. So, I am typically an anti- McDonald's person so this review holds pretty heavy weight because I am recommending this location! I have made a visit to this location a couple times expecting to be disappointed, but I haven't been. Today, I got my favorite on their menu- the Quarter pounder with cheese (extra onions). The meat tasted well cooked, the onions were crisp, the bun was not stale, and the servers were pleasant. They updated the exterior not too long ago and it looks great! Accessing the location isn't terribly difficult, and the lot has not been congested during my visits. Good job McD's! read more

Darlene answered the phone right away, which was a surprise, since most fast food places don't answer. She was so nice and apologetic, she said they couldn't refund since it was a mobile order and they needed the CC. She asked if we could come back and get the 2 missing item or she could refund in person. I told her we wouldn't be able to for another 2 hrs. Sure enough when my husband and son went back, Darlene remembered, she even insisted to comp their meals. My husband said everyone there was very nice. I know that mistakes happen, but this location and their staff took accountability and even made it right. Plus the staff are all friendly. read more
