If I could give a negative Stars I would. Tonight (or this morning 2am) was a rude awakening on how poor customer service can be. We had a coupon for the $1 fries and it didn't scan. We didn't see it right away so when we got to the second window, we said something. Normally they have no problem adjusting an issue but today was a different story. Not only did the employee tell us "too bad" the manager said the same thing. This is my very first review I posted on Yelp. I went to this McDonald's three Sundays in a row due to traveling for work that stops at this location at same time every Sunday. I didnt have any issues until today. The woman refused to give me large cup of ice water whereas the other employees two Sundays ago had no problem with giving one. The soda machine does not have designated water. The bathroom here is the worst! You cannot fit in 2 out of 3 stalls. Also, until today--one of my chicken nuggets looked so disgusting. ***Beware if you pay cash they pocket the money and don't give your receipt. ***They forgot to put fries and soda on my order, the drive thru guy named JOSE JUNIOR got mad and charged me for the soda cash but says she can't sell me fries. Went to this mcdonalds in ceres and tried two use two cards. one debit and the other credit, each time it said declined, which is very surprising since i know i have credit and money on both. SHADY EMPLOYEES!! They tried to rip me off with extra charges for a chocolate milk that was included with my kids happy meal order! I asked why they were charging me extra for something that is included with the happy meal and Lily the manager said "do you want it or not". I told her she was wrong for trying to sneak charges on to peoples orders, when no other McDonald's does that shady practice but she said too bad! Horrible customer service here. My husband and I sometimes stop by this McDonald's in between 4-4:30AM to get Coffee as we are heading to work. Well everytime I stop here, we are always late for work because they have us waiting for at least 10mins.... for 2 coffees. That's it, that's all we order and sometimes a side. They take 10 minutes to give us 3 small items that won't take long. Is like if they don't have nothing ready! I don't know who takes care of this shift, but they need to make a change. I would give it a 0 if I could. I went about a month ago late night to get food for kids and me. Waiting almost 45 min in drive thru. And couldn't get out cuz stuck between so many cars. Placed order and got home to several items missing. I had to call to make it right. So I went back the next day to get my items, mind u I already paid for them and ordered food again. Used my mobile coupon and they told me I couldn't because of the free(not free I paid prior night and didn't recieve food) items they gave me. Had to argue, politely to get my coupon used. Ugh. Hmm OK I will pay extra to get my fries. The lady said I had to go back in line or walk inside because she didn't have register. She was polite tried speaking to management. They told her they would not accommodate my request. Really? I'm sitting in car with kids. I purchased food. I said well I just want a refund then. Would love to give a 5 star rating today but I cannot do so. My visit tonight ended in me leaving without my food. I got to the speaker nobody said hello or anything but a car just pulled away from the speaker in front of me. I tried to order a sandwich and fries was told hold on. I said no problem she then said ahgain hold on I said it's okay take your time finally she asked me what I wanted just like that.. I ordered waited for 5 min to get to the window tried to pay with my card and she said I told you it's only cash. She then argued with me. I was 37 cents short of having all the cash instead of owning up and apologizing. She didn't treat me like a customer at all. I took my money back and went less than two min up hatch to the other mcdonalds on Mitchell rd and for my two items it was 1.07 cheaper at the McDonald's on Mitchell. I'll never go here again I'll save more money any day and get better service at Mitchell. read more
