Waited 20 minutes inside bc drive through line was taking forever. Once I got my food, it smelled weird and my McGriddle bread was hard on the edges. How do you mess up McGriddle bread?? Anywhere But Here This location should just lock the door and turn off the lights at 5:00 p.m....because after 5, I guess when the General Manager leaves, this place just falls apart. No other McDonald's I have visited in the tri-county area have this level of malfunction. McDonald's on Highway 52 in Moncks Corner is a well managed and consistent McDonald's location that has everything you want from a McDonald's and more. The food here is well prepared and reliable and they move fast even during the busiest times of the day. I really like the french fries at this location the best. I have had a positive experience every time I have been here. read more

To have a fast food establishment that has customers sitting in a line for over 15 min before they can order and then have to continue to sit should not own or run an establishment of this kind. Worst McDonald's I have been too. One star only because of the fries. For what ever reason, at any time during the day, the drive through is AWFUL. There are two drive through lines and only one is ever open. It takes at least 20 minutes to get to the window to pay. I'm not sure what the hold up is. Very frustrating for fast food. read more

Can someone please tell me how a 24-Hour restaurant is closed at 9:30 at night? I work second shift and was going to stop by to get some dinner in my lunch break but both drive through lanes were closed and the the inside was locked. If I could give zero stars I would. Waited in the drive thru line 28 minutes. When I was asked to give my order, I asked if more than 1 daily deal code could be given. The lady said, "please keep your order limited, we only have 3 people working." I said, well ok, I need to give a code. She said, well ma'am, you must order first. I told her the app deal was buy a chicken sandwich get a free drink and fries. She said ok, what is your code. I told her the 4-digit code. I also asked for a McFlurry and she said the ice cream machine was down. When she she told me the total, which was almost $7.00, I said, that's not right because it is buy a sandwich and get the other stuff free. She started arguing so I just pulled up to the window. She said "give me one minute", then said "the code said I get a sandwich or fries not both."I attempted to show her the app but she said, "I know how to read but when I put the code in, it says I can get fries or a drink and gives me this price". She was very hateful and I explained that I was a human, not a dog, that she wasn't going to talk to me like a dog. She couldn't hear anything I was saying for talking over me and had determined that my app code would not work. I asked her what the price of a chicken sandwich was and she said 4-something, so I said, ok, that is what I owe since the app says buy a sandwich get the fries and drink free. She repeated that the system was not working and I asked for a manager. She said she was a manager. I said no way are you a manager talking to people like they are animals. I repeated that the sandwich is all I should be paying for and she said she knew how to do her job. She then was telling the next car back that she was having to deal with a difficult customer that she would take her order once I left. Wow. She called her coworkers to the window and was trashing me and my children, and by the way, there were more than 3 workers as she had previously stated. She finally said just pull up, the car behind you will pay just to get you out of here. I left. This McDonalds is trash. I've heard horror stories for a long time...finally witnessed it myself. Being a teacher in the school district, and being a big advocate of work and life skills, this older woman, has never been trained in such. A friend of mine and myself decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. Usually I just go thru the drive thru. But this time we decided to go in. After we were served our food and sat down I noticed an employee spraying something all around the drive thru area. Another employee said "hey spray over here too, the flies are really bad". I stopped a person who called herself a manager and asked if she knew her employees were spraying bug spray around the drive thru area. She said 'yah, well the flies get pretty bad over there." Then she walked behind the counter and spoke to the gentleman who was spraying. He then grabbed the can and disappeared into the back. The can was a blue can of raid. Drive thru line was super long so we went in. Inside was dirty and gross. Floors and tables were sticky and messy. The fountain drinks were all flat and an odor was coming from near the machines. Come to find out the customer was dating a cook and the cashier decided it was her job to run the love birds messages back and forth. They were cursing and using the N word multiple times. I waited in line for 10 minutes. Finally another worker had to take our order. I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 mcdoubles, a medium fry and 2 medium drinks. I get my total and say sorry can I change those drinks to large. She snaps and says "I already had that" .... yet I asked for medium-sized drinks.
