No part of it tasted like earl grey imo. I would skip on the sweet coconut cold foam as it barely provides sweetness to your drink, which in turn, is not worth the additional cost. Overall, it was a nice place to cool down and the atmosphere was alright. The interior is aesthetic and well designed. Coffee is not really special and cake is good. Wallet may shed a tear.

If you use the drive thru window be ready to sit in line for a little bit. They do not have a drive thru speaker system, so you order at the window. If you order a food item they will ask you to pull around and someone will bring your food. If you are in a hurry this is probably not the best place for you to get your coffee.

There were still plenty of baked goods in the display case around 1pm but after a heavy lunch, we wanted something simple but sweet. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect - crispy on the edges, chewy and soft center. And only $1!!! What a steal. They've got local kombucha on tap - we tried the Wake Up Call - which had green tea, Yerba mate & blueberry - super refreshing! We also ordered a pistachio pinwheel but unfortunately, it did not hold up well for the photo (some precious pastry was wasted UGH). But take my word for it, it tasted delicious! They offered my pup a treat and took a photo for their Instagram feed lol. You may still find it if you scroll back far enough. Overall, I found Charleston to not be a dog friendly city and EVO Craft Bakery welcomed us with open arms. Greatly appreciative for the hospitality and delicious treats!

The Mediterranean salad was not quite what I expected, I thought it would involve black olives and feta cheese, but it had neither, and I appreciated that it was different and not too oily. The food prices feel a touch high but if you look at the quality of the food, and their use of premium ingredients, it is reasonable for what you get. Staff was friendly and good came out fast. There is a long table for bigger groups and small tables for up to four to sit. Coffee and speciality drinks, light fare, and pastries? Yup! Like several other attentive coffee spots. But once inside, you are enveloped in a simple elegant vibe that says relax, enjoy, chat awhile. To me, this is the outstanding and unique charm of Seene House. Go once, and you will be drawn back. I could have taken pictures of the good drinks we ordered. But instead I snapped the interior, so you get a sense of how the owners have paid attention to every detail. There are two separate indoor areas, and an outdoor courtyard with tables, games, and a children's picnic table, all lush with an assortment of plants. Their attentiveness carries through to their rest room at Seene! I've never been motivated to show one before, but theirs is so roomy and well appointed that it deserved a shot too. I've visited coffee shops all over the world and rarely come across prices as high as Seene's. With drinks in the $9-$11 range and cold foam costing $3, I was curious to see whether the ingredients and quality would justify the cost. I ordered an ube latte with oat milk and noticed they were using Kirkland oat milk from Costco. The matcha itself was slightly bitter, and the ube flavor was barely noticeable. My husband ordered an iced chai, which was made with Tazo chai concentrate, a product that can easily be purchased at most grocery stores. I completely understand paying a premium for high-quality, specialty ingredients, but at this price point, I would expect the ingredients and execution to feel exceptional. With so much competition from other coffee shops offering specialty drinks at more standard prices, I personally didn't feel that the drinks at Seene justified the price tag. Beautiful space, but unfortunately the drinks didn't live up to the price for me.

I stayed here for week and had a 12 oz matcha latte w/ whole milk and no sweetener every morning and it hit every time. One day needed extreme caffeine and go my favorite cortado and even that was spot on. I also tried their cinnamon rolls (DELICIOUS). I also tried their Chicken Salad sandwich on sourdough (DELECTABLE). Still haven't had a chance to taste their croissants. They bake them fresh and sell out very quickly. The staff is very personable, and extremely friendly. It gets pretty busy since its a new hot spot on base so you have to gauge the time and come in at a decent time but it is worth the wait. The complaints of wait time are inconsiderate, if you don't want to wait or pay for quality items then get behind the counter and do it yourself or go somewhere else. Highly recommend.
