The service at this McDonalds is horrible. We tried them one more time and it will be the last. Got a simple order from the drive through, told to wait in order pickup spot. This McDonald's is a great location. The workers are always joyous and happy. They never get my food wrong when I specify something like "no cheese" or "no ___" on a meal, and if they do, they are immediately apologetic and fix it right away. Also, it's very clean in there! read more

Always love coming here for lunch when they first open. I come right when they open for lunch and they are always very busy at the drive-thru. Never had an issue with a wrong order! Forgot part of my order and they put burden on you to get back in your car , drive back , wait in line and get refunded . Employees at windows not all friendly. Food was not ready so had to wait in a parking space, the girl who brought it was friendly but the window employees were not. The place is CLEAN inside...really CLEAN. The dual line outside for drive thru is sketchy--some customers try to beat each other as "next in line"....some people suck at taking honest turns. That's the customers--not the employees tho. All in all, this place is ok to run to for a fast drink or something fast once in awhile...friendlier here than other locations but still has some RUDE employees at windows. I understand that COVID has been stressful on the food industry. Today I went thru the Drive thru at McDonalds Route 111, Monroe , Ct. we were Rushed thru the line, then received wrong food. Returned it before we drove away. The woman with dark hair in pony tail was huffing and puffing that it was the right order. I read off my order #20 / 1720 She confirmed. Gave us our bags. But when you get there is no signs anyplace telling you about the the two for five dollar special. They will give you the special only if you ask. They weren't so bad a few years ago which is the only reason I am reviewing now. They often forget my orders, the ladies working the drive thru are not friendly and have poor listening skills. Today, I was told to go wait in a parking lot while they cook my burger (at 11:45pm). It took 12 minutes to get it and was basically thrown in my car. The fries were ice cold but I did not have time to go back and had a sick toddler in the car. Over ten dollars for flavorless burger and fries that can't be eaten. It is too gross and expensive to justify the convenience anymore. Glad Panera is moving in soon down the street if I need drive thru and I will just stick to the fabulous delis in town for now. read more

McDonald's Rt. 111 Monroe ct. I went to McDonald's about 1/2 hour ago. With my wife and grandson. He wanted a shake so we went to the drive up. We went to the pay window and my wife gave me a $10.00 bill. I paid for it and handed my wife the change wrapped in the receipt.Before I got to the pick up window my wife said to me "she gave you change from a $5.00 bill. There weren't any cars behind me so I backed up and told the young lady she gave me the wrong change. I said I gave you a $10.00 bill. She looked at the register screen and hit her self in the head,as to say I goofed. She called the manager to get permission to open the register. I guess she told him about her mistake. My complete is ,she or her manager never said she or he was sorry. My advice to all is when you go to any drive up window,count your change. McDonald's on Rt. 111 in Monroe CT. Shame on you for not evening saying sorry! I'll take that as we don't care how are customers feel! Guess what. I will never use their drive up! read more

let me start by saying i wish there was an option for no stars. the service here is unbearable. the manger totally ruined my food dinning experience. I walked in and all of the chairs were already up. an hour before they were suppose to close. there was 7 people working and I was the only costumer and it took 15 minutes to get chicken nuggets and fries. I also asked for sauce and they didn't give me any. when I went back to the counter to get sauces they gave me a hard time and only gave me one. I needed more than just one. after I finished that sauce and needed more, they told me that I couldn't get more than three. keep in mind i only had one at this point. the manager kept giving me bs as i begged for another sauce. They also locked the door a half an hour before closing and when a group of people came 25 minutes before 11 (the time they close) the manger refused to let them in and unlock the door. When I tried to leave, the door was locked... a major fire hazard to lock people into a establishment. Never go to this mcdonald's, the manger is awful, but you might not even be able to get in though due to the locked doors. read more
