Went here with my mom on Saturday April 5th 2025 for a much needed dinner after a long day traveling. We headed to the drive through, where there was no line. We order 3 mcchicken sandwiches, and 3 Shamrock shakes. Was happy that as of April 5th 2025, they still had some Shamrock shakes. Person who took our order was very pleasant, as well as the others we encountered at the drive through. We paid with cash for this transaction. Everything was included that we ordered in the bag. It's McDonalds. Not a 5 star dining experience. Personally my bare expectations are that my food be hot, any customization I requested is done (ur. No cheese, etc), and that curbside work when it's an option. I placed an 8pm order and set it for curbside. Got to McDonalds and they cancelled my order because curbside was closed. The employees here are usually pretty nice. Food is typical of McDonald's. One thing I have noticed is that the price has gone up so much this last year or two. I can go to Chili's or another restaurant for less money for a better quality meal. I think McDonald's is going to price themselves out of business one day. read more

Let me just say I came here and staff was not helpful! Yes is a McDonald's driveway but I expect some type of service. Girls were just giggling in the back. I came for the 2 for 4$ deal Mix & Match. Which includes your choice of any two sandwiches from a select menu of three items: the Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Bacon, Egg & Cheese McGriddle, and Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit. I wanted a sausage , egg and cheese on a biscuit very simple! The girl that assisted said no that it would be 6$! Once again, a pleasant experience time and time again at this McDonald's. There's no way a two star review is morally correct for this location. The management is stellar, they really do care about their employees, their customers and their Door Dashers (me). They are beyond quick, having my order ready before I even show up. And I live a half a mile away. During this pandemic, I give them my own personal award for most compassionate business I have frequented. They are always wearing a mask, covering mouth and nose, they confirm my order number - therefore preventing the wrong order being given for delivery. (Happens a LOT in other businesses in the area). McDonald's in Monroe is my most favorite restaurant to deliver from while I'm working for Door Dash! They seal the bag using 3 heavy duty stickers, in a big brown bag with a HANDLE! A handle!! A woman came in because she ordered pancakes for her daughter thru the drive through and they forgot to put syrup in the bag. The employee handed her a syrup and she asked if she can have a second one, the employee said so rudely, No! You have to pay for the second one. The customer got so upset and left mad. To me, great costumer service would have been for the employee to explain that it only comes with one and any extra will be a charge but here's the second one for the inconvenience for us not putting any in the bag. BOOM! She would have been a happy customer and knowing that next time a second one will have to be paid for. What, it would have cost Mc Donalds 10 cents? to keep a customer happy and coming back. I went up to the counter and bought two syrups to give to the lady. Explaining to the employee that she should have just gave her the second syrup, like for real! Her knowing that I was getting it for the customer she still charged me! This Employee is a rude and angry person 90% of the time, she really needs to get another job that has nothing to do with cus service. When I'm in Monroe, McDonald's is definitely one of the places I go to have a bite for a few dollars. The food is how I expect it to be for McDonald's. nothing special just some food for a few dollars. Although if any higher up McDonald's employee sees this don't touch the restaurant it looks good. it's one of the last classic style McDonald's in our area. The renovations you guys have been doing to McDonald's in the other nearby locations makes them look stupid. McDonalds is a fast food joint not a friggin gourmet restaurant. Modern does not always look good. Another thing it can improve on is hours of operation. I always remember McDonalds being a 24 hour thing. Shame that Most of them In my area don't stay open 24 hours like they used to. read more

Don't go here with children! On May 25 at 1PM my friend and I went with our four children at 1PM. The children were well behaved. At one point my 2 year old daughter spilled her soda. My friend asked the person at the counter for a mop or rag to clean it up. The manager, an older gentleman wit gray hair, came storming out from behind the counter and told us in no uncertain terms to leave now. We will not be back and be forewarned if you have young children. Thank God the McDonalds in the surrounding towns welcome children. read more

Terrible customer service from the owner. He was so rude when I called and hung up on me, not even saying thank you or good bye. When I have dined in, I've seen him treat his young employees horribly, barking orders to them and literally PUSHING them out of his way. He shoved one poor girl so hard she almost cried! And then there's the manager who spent almost an hour on the phone and in the bathroom. And very rude !! I think her name is Mary. She seems miserable and I think the kids agree!! The kids are sweet and efficient getting orders out but the management is terrible! Just plain rude. Like your inconveniencing them by eating there. And fix the damn ice cream machine, you miser! It's a borderline 3 stars probably because i'm in a good mood. Forget going here if you want a shake. Their machine is forever broken so save your time and pay a dollar extra to go across the street to the ice cream place for a real shake and their machine always works. Since when did they become the ultimate misers with their dipping sauces ( honey mustard, sweet and sour, bbq ) For a 20 piece they give you like 4 and you usually have to remind them like taking candy out of a baby's hand. I have no complaint about the food. Its the nutjob woman at the drive through payment line that should be fired. She seems to think she is a traffic cop and on every occasion Ive been there tells the cars on the line "Move up a little...you can get closer....up a little more etc" so that she can collect your money. I went with a few of my friends for a 10pm quick snack. I was so excited to finally have McDonald's for the first time in 3 weeks. As I walked into the store I immediately felt all the eyes of the employees on my friends & I. Very uncomfortable!Before making a purchase my two friends & I had to use the bathroom. My one male friend went into the men's bathroom & my female friend & I decided to go into the bathroom together because there was one toilet seat & we were friends! I think friends do the buddy system all the time! In the middle of us using the bathroom a man with a blue shirt & headset knocked on the door & started yelling at us. I said people were occupying the bathroom but he continued to yell at us. My friend & I immediately washed our hands opened the bathroom door to find this man standing in front of the door. He asked us "two people in one bathroom?" & I said "yes, you've never seen two gal pals using the bathroom together?" He then walks away with an attitude & mumbles to himself. He continued to tell his coworkers & make fun of my friend & I. Very uncomfortable! My friends and I ended up not purchasing anything. Worst McDonald's service. What's the deal with McDonald's? The hot fudge sundae used to be on the dollar menu and have hot fudge. I stopped at this store after grocery shopping to get a sundae...it cost $1.61, the cup was 3/4 filled and had about 1 1/2 teaspoons of hot fudge. At the time the employees -- it took 3 -- were working on the machine so my server had to squeeze in to make the sundae.
