Solid burgers and sides at Wayback Burgers. This is one of the few places we've ever found with onion rings and cheese curds that are safe to have with an egg allergy. Thankfully we've also now learned that this is a chain with several locations across the country, including one in NYC we can visit. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind and took the time to help us make sure everything we ordered was safe for our family. They really seem to care about their customers, and it was evident by how many people came in like they were best of friends that this had been the case the whole time. Wayback Burgers is a national chain, but our visit to the Monroe location was the first time we had heard of them (and then we subsequently found out they also have a NYC location, which was a nice discovery). Staff here were very friendly and great about answering our menu questions. They offer burgers, chicken, lots of sides, and shakes, everything you'd expect from a burger joint. We got some burgers, chicken tenders, sides, and a shake to sample as much as we could. My favorites were the cheese curds and the onion rings, and the burgers were good too. I didn't like the chicken as much as the burgers, so I'll probably stick to the burgers in the future, especially since I love how you can make lots of customizations to the burgers to get exactly what you want. If I remember correctly it was a spicy melt with bacon, steakhouse, and Cajun. My sister and I love fried cheese curds so when we saw it on the menu we had to get it. And it didnt disappoint. I have come here a couple of times. Every time, I go it is great and the customer service is always amazing. First the food is fresh and does not make me feel heavy or uncomfortable after I eat it. That is a plus because at times people use old oil but this place is always great. Secondly the portions are very generous and I usually share. Lastly the employees are always welcoming and friendly. I ordered food on line at 11am; waited in my car until 11:20 as pick up time was at 11:30. There was a young lady and a Filipino guy preparing food, taking orders, and packing orders. He looked at the packed food at the counter and told me, you have 2 Oreo shakes and I didn't even start that yet because , that guy, this guy etc., pointing on the people in the restaurant, I am doing their orders. Lots of cars in the lot, a good sign. Inside is an easy menu of just enough items for good variation. I ordered the Cheesey(double cheeseburger). Meat, cheese, meat, cheese on a grilled bread. Absolutely great!! The Cod sandwich next with pickles. You know how by the time they bread the fish and it's on a roll it's gooey or just too much bread taste. Not this one! It was awesome!! Really it could not have been better! The firey fries and onion rings were the perfect sides..... though my counter person(I think that's the politically correct term) brought a side of their deep fried Mac and cheese over to try..... uh boy... this is going to be a problem!! They were SOOO good!! I left with a little leftover and again the awesome staff was there with a bag for my takeout before I could even ask! Found this place while traveling to Pennsylvania what a great find. All their food is freshly made. Their burgers are juicy and pack a lot of flavor. The onion rings were crispy and delicious. "Holy Burgers!" This place lives up to the hype, burgers are slamming! I've been wanting to stop by for eons and finally stopped in. The burgers give both Five Guys & Shake Shack a run for their money! I'd say this place takes the top spot from Five Guys in my opinion. They do have dine-in during pandemic times with small signs indicating the table had been "sanitized" however I warn that when they bring your meal out they don't take the "sanitized" sign away. So in practicality you eat next to this sign, clean up and then leave with that so called sanitized sign still in place. The next customer comes along "assuming" the table has been sanitized when in fact it might not have been properly sanitized. So dine-in with caution but on the plus side they do have a huge bottle of hand sanitizer at the door so if every customer uses that it reduces risks. I normally enjoy the food at this location but the last couple of times have been horrible. The chicken strips, which I usually love had burnt breading all over them and were soaked in grease. My son and I went yesterday. I had the classic burger and my son had the ghost pepper burger. We also shared an order of onion rings that were very good with the dipping sauce. So I kept it fairly simple when I came here, though I did want to try the milkshakes and chili-cheese fries. I ended up getting the Classic Burger + Bacon and a small fry. They told us we could have a seat and they brought it around to us which was very nice. So, the burger in itself was good. The meat has seasoning (Though it could've been a little richer), but it was good. The bacon wasn't burnt and it was also fully cooked. The burger within itself was good (Including the bread). I'd give it about a 4/5 if I had to rate it. But, for the most part it was pretty good and I ate the whole thing. The fries were nice and crispy but had no seasoning (Or barely had any). I didn't really taste any salt on it at all, which sucked because they would've been that much better if they had salt. I believe my total came to about $13 and some change for the burger and small fry. They have a seating area as well. I'm not sure if I'd put these burgers over five guys, but the burger was solid. Our first ever experience trying Wayback Burgers and we had as good of an experience as one can have at a fast food restaurant. I assume all Wayback Burgers have the same menu, so I won't go into much detail about what's on the menu other than the fact that there's burgers, non-burger sandwiches, shakes, sides and beer served. Customers will have to order their sides separate from their burgers, unless they order one of the combos that comes with a pre-determined side. If you want to mix and match, I say order all of your items individually then. We arrived at the location at around 2pm on a cold, chilly Saturday and there weren't many customers inside. However, strangely, as time went on, more and more customers filled the place up. Let me remind you that it was way past 2pm at this point, so lunchtime had long passed. My wife ordered the Philly Burger with a side of Irish Nachos and a Regular Coffee Shake. I ordered the Double Bacon Wayback Class with a side of Cheese Fries and a Regular Strawberry Shake. First, the burgers were excellent. They were grilled right behind the cashier, so they were as fresh as a burger can get. We loved the meatiness and juicyness of the patties. Everything was put together so well. We were quite a surprise at how delicious they were considering this was fast food! The Irish Nachos were also a winner with us as we loved that there were ample toppings on it. As for the Cheese Fries, we loved the fries themselves, but the cheese could have been spread better. The cheese was too thick. The shakes were also fantastic. They were smooth and thick, but not thick to the point you couldn't drink them. The service here was good. The employees didn't go out of their way to be extremely friendly, but they were courteous and our meal was brought to our table quickly. The food was definitely fresh and that is excellent, especially for "fast" food. I ordered the plain cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, raw onion and wayback sauce. The overall quality was good HOWEVER the bun was too much in my opinion. Every bite was mostly bun and not enough burger. I also ordered the O'fries which were a treat! The onion ring batter was perfect; it didn't crumble or separate from the onion.
