Completely rude staff, giving us attitude through the drive through when they didn't have my order correct, along with actually yelling at me at the window to go to the next one. Not to mention over the last week the wait time for online orders or dine in orders I've waited for two hours THREE times! They need to work on hospitality and time management. I was with my 9year old niece when two employees got in a screaming match with a customer over how long his food was taking because he waited for over an hour and the same night while we were waiting for our food we heard several employees in the kitchen fighting and having screaming matches with each other! Does NOT deserve a rating at all! Waiting 20 freaking minutes in the drive through ONLY for a cookie tote! Car in front of me ONLY got a McFlurry so it shouldn't have taken this long! When got to the window, the worker was just standing around having a conversation with another worker there. Got my cookie tote, and had to go straight back to work, bec my lunch break was ONLY 30 minutes, and I spent 20 MINUTES waiting in the freaking drive through! Average data shows that McDonalds being a FAST FOOD restaurant has an average drive through time, the time you order-the time you are served, of just 5 min and 30 seconds!!! This was NOT the case for this McDonalds! Don't expect this McDonalds to actually be a "fast food" restaurant, because it's NOT!!! read more

I take back what I said in my last review, THIS is the best Spicy McCrispy I've ever had. Thick and juicy chicken. Odd for a McDonald's, but I'm not complaining. Very kind staff and good speedy service. I didn't like how the drinks were behind the counter, so they made your drinks for you, and I was unable to get my own water. First of all they ain't open 24/7. They randomly close when they see fit. 4 in the afternoon if they want. Aside from closing the store without filling orders that have been paid for and not refunding my money, and EVERY time I try to use my points they come tell me that it is not available. They can't replace the points after you spend them. No matter if you get your shit or not, this place is a joke. Shit food. Shit customer service, shit people running the show. I've been nice even for a woman to pick up the phone while I was leaving a voicemail to say " the doors are locked. We are closed" and hang up on me at 4pm. Waited another 15 minutes so we finally went through the drive thru to check because we weren't getting anywhere inside. They no longer had any record of our order and couldn't give us a refund. We'd have to go through the app she said. So we left with no food and went to the app from the road, only to find that you had to get a refund from the restaurant. Bun on my chicken sandwich was burned. Couldn't eat it. So I just ate the patty. It was dry. They left the sauce off. They remembered the sauce on my wife's sandwich, but plopped on way too much on her filet-o-fish -- AND smeared it on the top of her bun. The fish was only stuck into the bread about 1/3rd of the way. Because it was so gloopy, I had to find a clean utensil in the car to lift the fish onto the bun and then clean off the excess sauce. Very slow drive through - two lanes but it seems to make it even more confusing to people. You aren't tricking us with two lanes when it seems like the same person is waiting on both. Ice cream machine was broken, that was disappointing since that was the main reason I was sent. Order was taken properly. Change was given properly. My rating is on the speed (40 minutes!) and the broken equipment. When you are the only McDonalds in a 1 horse town you can get away with about anything. read more

We stayed in town for a soccer tournament. Called the night before to have a big order in the morning over 20 sandwiches and 30 cinnamon rolls . They made a note and said they would let the morning staff know. I called at 6:30 the next morning and they had everything ready to prep and would be ready by 7:15. A convenient stop for those heading east/west through IA along 34. Super fast service...they have two order stations for drive thru that commingle down to one pick up lane. I thought it would be janky but it worked well. Would I prefer to eat local? Yup. But when you are already behind on a road trip and only can afford to be off the road for about 5 minutes, McD's is a good bet. The food was hot and just as we ordered it. Average in terms of service and food. Interior is nice and appears to have a more recent renovation. They charge extra if you want an orange juice in lieu of coffee. There's no charge for soda and we discovered you can get hot tea as well. My mother received a bit of an attitude from the employee when she asked for a cup of ice for her tea until a manager gave her the okay. The breakfast sandwiches were fine. My hashbrown was gross. It was like biting into a grease cake and not crispy at all. I didn't feel like having a McD's BM so it got tossed. read more

This was literally one of the worst experiences at any restaurant i've ever been to. It is very rare that we go out to eat, but we were visiting for a friends wedding, and decided to stop to get breakfast before driving back to STL this morning. We ordered 3 egg McMuffins and one sausage (I am a vegetarian so I do not eat meat) and two cups of coffee. We pull up and pay and get our coffees, I ask for cream and sugar and am told 'they will put it in the bag' and are asked to pull forward to wait for our food. Ten minutes go by... nothing.... another ten.... still nothing. So I get out and go to the register and explain that we have now been waiting for 20 minutes for food that should've been given to us at the window, whilst at least another seven cars have gotten their food. Girl at the counter says 'Oh well, since it's after breakfast time it take awhile'. I was not aware that 10 AM was after breakfast time, or at least far long enough after breakfast time that it would take 20 damn minutes for my food. I go back out to the car, and ANOTHER 10 minutes go by and finally someone comes out with the food. Look in the bag, no cream and sugar. Of course. I have to run back in and weave through the mob of hungry people who are probably as pissed off as me at this point to get some cream and sugar. Cool, whatever. Run back out to the car and pull off as we are now almost 40 minutes behind schedule and have a long drive ahead of us. Get on the highway and ALL OF THEM ARE SAUSAGE. So now not only have these people wasted my time, they have ruined my breakfast. I am sitting with cold fucking coffee and a bunch of food I did not order. Thankfully the boyfriend is a meat eater so everything didn't go to waste. I will be calling corporate first thing Monday morning! read more
