Stopped in to this McDonald's as we were leaving town on our way to Charleston, SC. We stopped and picked up our breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Everything was outstanding, fresh, hot and tasty. The young lady at the register was from Romania, ( so sorry I could not remember her name) and very helpful and courteous. Restaurant looked very clean and the back area looked spotless also. Spoke to Jenn the manager at the time and told her the place looked wonderful and the service I received was great. I looked at the other comments and disregarded them. I was really craving!! A late night craving took me up the road and exactly 1 mile to my local McDonald's. I got there and ordered on the kiosk at 10:37pm according to my receipt. Nothing crazy just a quarter pounder deluxe meal with a coke. 3 people were ahead of me with about 6 cars in the drive way. No problem right? Wrong! After 4 people behind me received their order and 20 minutes later I asked who I think is a manager, about my order. I think he was pretty surprised too because I could see them hustling to make my order. Finally 24 mins after I placed an order, $11 and no apology I finally received my bag of food. 1 mile down the road I get home, open my bag and yep the fries were hard and cold and the burger well...see the pictures. I know these guys deal with tourist during the busy season but McD you've got to do better. We want our tourist to talk about their wonderful experiences in Mrytle. This place is horrible. The employees are absolutely clueless about customer service. If you order at the drive through you will pay for your order at the first window and then directed to pull out of line and into a designated waiting area. Regardless of the order size or the complexity of the order-you are waiting my friend. I have ordered a Quarter Pounder Value Meal without any special modifications and been directed to pull ahead to the waiting area with absolutely no one else in line behind me. Oh, and it was a roughly 5-7 minute wait. If you venture inside you are directed to a self serve kiosk that never has receipt tape so pay at the counter. Tonight my wife and I got 1) cold food 2) the replacement food was the wrong item 3) the ketchup at the condiment stand was empty so I asked for some ketchup packets and I was handed two, I asked for additional packets and was handed one additional ketchup. 4) the dipping sauces for the 20 piece nugget order were left out, I went to the counter to get them and was reluctantly handed one BBQ and one Ranch. The little flying bugs that the other customers and myself were waving away from our tables was a bonus treat to our experience. I know it's fast food- but a brand new building in a very prime location for customer traffic should warrant decent training for the employees. Shame on this franchise owner and shame on McDonald's for allowing such a sub par restaurant to carry their brand name. read more

Went to the drive through to get my child breakfast, but for some reason they stop serving it at 10:30. Then I got a vanilla iced coffee and it was not able to be consumed. It tasted so bad, I asked them to remake it but all they did was add cream. The girl at the window was not nice or apologetic in the slightest. So I walked into the dining room and asked the boy at the register to remake it and it was just as bad. The food tastes fine but the fries are soggy. The service was just overall terrible. read more

Went thru drive-through and ordered 2 milkshakes for almost $9. When they handed them to us they were liquid milk with whipped cream. Walked them back into store, asked if machine was not working. They assured me it was so waited for 2 more - same time problem, same response. Another customer said he had been waiting 45 minutes for burger and fries and the place was not even busy. Worst McDonalds in SC, hands down. 24 minutes and three tries to get a mobile order correct and it was still messed up.

Came in at 11pm, asked for a double cheeseburger and a water. I got sink water (yes literally) and then was told I can't have a double cheeseburger because it was to late but I could have a cheese burger or a Big Mac. One cheeseburger plus one cheeseburger too difficult for employee lmao I don't have expectations for McDonald's obviously but I found out they can indeed disappoint lol read more

I highly advise going out of your way to the next nearest McDonald's. This one will have you waiting 25+ minutes minimum and still fail to get your order right. They're beyond slow, visibly disorganized and have no sense of urgency at all. If I could give negative stars I would. read more

Most the time service is good the wait times are absolutely ridiculous!!!! Nobody should have too wait no longer than 5-8 mins for their food to be delivered to the window 20- mins is too much and a waste of time. They need more help and better management read more

Worst McDonalds EVER!!! This place should go out of business immediately. A bunch of young foreign girls working in there with no idea what's going on or anything about customer service. I will NEVER go to this McDonalds again I actually told all my friends over here about it. Waited 10 minutes for a 10 piece nugget and medium fry. I even called them and they said they were coming out now and it was another 5 minutes, to the point where my boyfriend had to go in and get it himself. HORRIBLE. Waited 30 mins for our food because they numbed our order and then they were going to short our money when they were refunding us. I get that due to covid people are so short staff but it's ridiculous waiting when multiple people bring back in their orders due to them being incorrect or missing. Lady on the second window 2:45 August 6 treated us like idiots because it was raining and it took us a whopping 5 seconds to turn off our wipers. Our food was messed up but I'm Not entirely sure that she was to blame but I'd like to think so. Definitely not as nice as the other McDonald's we have hit along our road trip. Food was burnt to hell but at least it was warm. Seems like the oil on the fries hasn't been changed in a while (insider info of other locations). I have given up on this location. The worst McD's I have ever been in. I love McD's for breakfast and when we travel, which is a lot all over the world, we always look for McD. We have been in Mcds in Italy, Japan, Portugal, and dozens of other countries and have never seen one as bad as this. We are wintering now in Myrtle Beach and was pleased to see this new location so close. However this has quickly changed and now I always go to another location. The staff are NOT friendly, the service is super SLOW and the small flies buzzing around my food was not welcome. I have left this place twice without ordering and I can say that I will not be inside their doors ever again. This place is a embarrassment to the McD chain. Shut it down or hire all new staff with some training in customer service. read more

One person at counter, didn't even look up at me to hear my order right. Asked for no mayo, got mayo, had a hair in my fries. And when I went to get a sauce and salt (which you have to ask the counter for now) and no one was there to help me, there were 7 people in the kitchen completely ignoring me, also they'r ketchup is out and no one is replacing it.
