Matt L. has once again gone off track and decided to review a McDonald's. Every now and then, Matt goes for the extremely lame and reviews a McDonald;s. I'd say he's hit the bottle, but he doesn't drink. But then again, if Matt L. doesn't drink, how did he get that way? I'm actually writing this from another McDonald's that I like, and the contrast is apt. This McDonald's has comfortable seating, a good number of easily accessible electrical outlets, and parking that makes sense. None of this is true at the McDonald's in MetroCenter. The seats are these hard plastic and metal jobs that put your butt to sleep if you've sat there for more than ten minutes. There's one, ONE, outlet, and it's behind the employment computer. Stupid. And the parking is ridiculous. The parking next to the door is completely blocked off by the drive-thru traffic. And since it's on a slope, it's ridiculous trying to park if you can get in there. Someone said that this place is better than the Taco Bell next to it. Maybe, but if I'm in MetroCenter in the future and need to grab a bite, I'll be getting tacos over burgers. read more

What isn't wrong with this place? Should be the real question that should be asked. There is more flies roaming around inside the establishment than people. I'm glad I stepped inside instead of using the drive through. I walked in to place a order in and immediately was greeted by a couple of flies procreating happily as the seem to have been there for some time already and built enough comfort to do their business in public. Needless to say that I assumed very little at that moment when shortly after placing my order I noticed the SWARM OF FLIES that made me cancel my order and leave the establishment. During the time that I was inside I had the pleasure of speaking with the manager who had very little to say about the flies and seemed to have very little interest in solving the issue. During this short moment of disgust I realized that management is also incompetent of taking any initiative and perhaps the main reason for the problem. The manager on shift on the day of wednesday October 9th 2019 is incapable of performing her job as a manager and should not have this position not simply because of the flies alone but the lack of understanding and drive of a leader to lead her team throughout a simple shift . I had to sit there and tell her what to do from beginning to end, from having to direct her to provide me a cup, return my change, to even provide a receipt. It should be the most qualified person in the establishment who fills this positiom and if this is the case then I feel very sad for the owner of this establishment who's business is being ran by incompetent personnel. It is so bad that the manager at Taco bell across the street even apologized for having to deal with this situation, when I told her that it was not her fault she simply said that she's sorry because they are their neighbor and everyone seems to be having the same negative opinion of the place. Health inspector should have a look at this place to see if this establishment is even capable of safely serving any food to anyone. read more

Don't go here unless you plan on sitting in the drive thru for 15-20 minutes. Not sure how or why there is always a wait. Ridiculous!!

Employee on her phone and many of my friends orders were wrong. Specifically asked for extra pickles or just lettuce and got no pickles and no lettuce. The ketchup needs replaced and is only blowing out air. Fries taste old and gross. I understand it's lunch rush at the moment but management needs to get their employees to act like the working teenagers that they are. The bathroom is a disgusting disaster and the toilet doesn't flush. The lemonade is just water and nothing else. The employees caught an attitude when problems were brought to their attention, for no reason. read more

There are like 15 people who work here and they share 2 brain cells between them. Line is always backed up because they're as slow as molasses. The simplest order will be wrong so always check when they hand it to you. Lastly, what happened to customer service? I went inside to order and This black girl with a head wrap just waltzed over after a few minutes of me waiting there (i was the only person in line) and says "are you ready to order?" Ummm HI?! Well, alrighty then. I used the mobile app for curbside delivery as I pulled into the McDonalds at 801 Vantage Way, Nashville the morning of Sunday, September 30, 2018. After waiting in the curbside delivery parking slot and watching the ENTIRE drive-thru line being served and clearing out in the next 12 minutes, I went inside to inquire about the delay in delivery. I was told that those orders come from "the back," and would be out soon. After returning to my car and waiting for another 10 minutes, I left with no food. When I contacted McDonalds for a refund, I was advised "For any unauthorized charges that appear on your account, please reach out to your bank." Every time I went here they got my order wrong. Ordered 20 piece mcnuggets I got 10. Another time they forgot my whole burger. There's too many to tell here where they keep getting it wrong. After telling us cash only, she preceded to leave her microphone on while she had an abrasive interaction with a coworker that we thought was directed at us at first. Then she told us we couldn't order a meal combo that was pictured on the outdoor menu. We waited 20 min in the drive thru line for a coffee and a mocha. Finally got to the window, she told us our total and accepted our money. Came back five seconds later and told us the mocha machine was down. After handing us our drinks (almost 30 min after ordering), our driver asked for a sleeve for his coffee and she looked at us like we had three heads. Instead of answering, she let us drive away while she continued to throw some serious shade our way. 0/10 would recommend. read more

One of the best things about this McDonald's is the WiFi. In fact I used it to download Yelp and create an account just to write this review. This is my neighborhood McDonald's so I frequent it more often than other people. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt. But this is by far the worst fast food restaurant location in town. The wait is always extremely long and if you go after 7pm just plan on waiting in the drive thru at least 30 mins. One time there was only one person working because someone didn't show up for work. Tonight I waited an hour for n the drive thru and then when I got to the window, was asked to pull forward to wait on the rest of my order (just 2 cookies). She said it would be 2 mins, but I waited another 15 mins before just finally driving off. I'm not posting this because I want attention, I'm posting so that hopefully corporate will take notice and send this store a manager and some help. read more

Got to McDonalds. Had to wait 15 minutes to order with only two cars in front of me - which had much more to do with no one taking their order than them having long/complicated orders. When I finally got to the box I asked for a dip cone in which the girl over the speaker said "Oh I'm not doing...I mean.. Our ice cream machine is broken. Also we don't even do dip cones anyways." (Even though I got one two weeks ago.) Any idea why McDonalds is a billion dollar company and none of their ice cream machines ever are working? Fix your crap McDonalds. read more

I was in town for vacation and just left the coyote ugly. The girls up there are phenomenal. To bad this McNastys service can't compare. We decided to stop at McDonald's on the way home as I was the designated driver for the night, while my buddies tied one off and had a great night. I was already upset as I had to be the DD for the night meanwhile the bonehead working the drive through had a bad attitude problem. I tried to order 6 Sausage egg and cheese bagels and the rude worker said with a bad attitude that they had not had bagels in 5 years. I was instantly heated. As I drove off pissed my car hopped the curb and Bent my wheel. As I pulled in the driveway I realized I had a slow leak in my back driver side tire. Now my car is messed up and I left without any food. I came outside the next morning to flat tire and I didn't have any spare fix-a-flat. This was the most expensive Fast food trip I have experienced. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Terrible service and the workers don't know how to talk to here customers. read more

4 stars for being there for me after midnight on my way back to the hotel with a board advertising 99 cent chocolate dipped cones ... I honestly can't remember the last time I had one ... and boy did it not disappoint considering I had the "ate dinner too early" munchies. Minus 1 star for the isolated cashier behind what I hope was bullet proof glass and the metal extend-a-drawer like they have at some bank drive-thrus ... made me question the safety of my temporary digs. read more

This McDonalds used to be the best McDonalds I ever stopped at. Food was hot, quick, and the staff was friendly and efficient. What happened? The lines were constantly moving through, so they used to send a young man outside to take your order. He always used to wish me a blessed day. He's gone now. The last two times I stopped here they got my order wrong and asked me to "pull Forward" with a promise to bring my missing item right out. Both times I waited ten minutes and my item never came. If you are going to order from this McDonald's late at night on the weekend you should really consider the Broadway McDonald's instead. I drive for DoorDash and last night the drive thru line was backed up all the way to the road at 2:15 am and I waited in line to get up to the drive thru speaker for 30 minutes. When I got to the speaker they told me 3 times that they did not have my order number in their system before saying that they found it. I waited another 15 minutes to get to the pick up window where they tried to charge me for someone else's order. I told the woman that I was picking up for DoorDash and I gave her my number. I watched as she prepared an order that was not mine and tried to give it to me. I repeated my order number and what was in the order and she again told me that they do not have that order in their system. At this point I asked to speak with the manager because the girl helping me was being anything but helpful. She was yawning while talking to customers on the drive thru speaker and was clearly preparing incorrect orders for people waiting at the window. When she finally got my order together I asked again to speak with the manager that night who was Martin and I asked him if it was only him and the girl who were working because their service on the busiest night of the week should not take almost an hour to get through 5-6 cars. All he told me was that they were hiring and he did not apologize until I asked him to. This was a terrible example of customer service and the opposite of 'fast' food. read more

I've never experienced a fast food restaurant with such terrible service. The drive thru takes forever, and if you go inside to order, you don't save any time. Often times patrons stand there inside until a significant line builds up before someone bothers to come take orders. Ordering just a drink can take ten minutes alone. read more

It took us 45 minutes to get through the drive-thru at 11pm when only 3 people were in front of us in line :( the service was also sub-par as the workers were fairly rude. Food wasn't bad though. read more

This is the worst McDonald's I've been to. I've been here multiple times unfortunately, as it's extremely close to my apartment. I keep thinking, maybe this time it'll be better. It never is. My son and I went to this McDonalds for a happy meal, was super excited about the new "Sing" toy which McDonalds has been advertising. We go through the drive thru window and get the old toy. I ask and the cashier said that the manager said they are not passing out the new toy until they have finished using the old toys. WHAT! that is the only reason we are here. They don't even deserve 1 star ... I'm glad we are just visiting the area; this place sucked. The drive thru line was out to the street, so I decided to go inside; that was a mistake. They took my order fairly quickly; 2 orders of pancakes with extra butter. I was told they have no syrup for the pancakes. How in the world can you not have syrup for pancakes? So I continue to wait for my two orders of pancakes and wait and wait. I watched as one of the workers had her back to the counter and was on her cell phone texting or looking on the Internet or whatever she was doing for a good five minutes while my pancakes, fairly close to her, sat on the shelf waiting to be bagged. Then it took four workers to figure out who's order was number 266; as my pancakes still sat on the shelf. When they asked me if I was or 266; I said no, my order is the pancakes sitting on the shelf waiting to be bagged. So the worker that is supposed to bag items for the counter looked at me and said "I am getting to them I'm getting to them". As I watched her out 1 order of pancakes in the bag, and proceeded to hand it to me. I looked at her and said "I ordered two orders of pancakes"; oh, I'm sorry I'll get the other one. All of this is going on while the manager is presumably taking a break hanging out with a few of her friends at a table. I get back to my hotel with two orders of pancakes, no syrup because they didn't have any, and only one set of silverware. How in the world are two people supposed to eat two orders of pancakes with one set of silverware. And, they only gave me two packets of butter instead of extra butter like I asked. Plus, the pancakes were cold because they sat on the shelf for about 5 minutes waiting to be bagged. To recap, the service sucks and it seems the employees are not properly managed. read more

If I could give zeros stars then I would. Normally I would come and eat breakfast and lunch here with family and friends. Eating here I know there are good days and bad days because we are all human but today was honestly the worst. Yes I know how fast food can be because I used to work in one but the disrespect and the yelling I got from a girl with the fake red hair was uncalled for. My mom and I were in the drive thru getting our order, the car in front of us left and we thought she knew. So anyways I was charged the wrong order and I told her nicely that it was the wrong order. She then yelled at my mom and I saying "oh why didn't you tell me?! How would I know! Give me your card now!" Then she utter something under her breath that neither my mom and I could understand, slamming the window in our faces. When she open it my mom and I told her it wasn't our job and that we thought she knew , she gave us a bad attitude and I just told her to "Give me my card now, I want my card and refund now", she didn't give it to me so I had to go inside the lobby of the McDonald and got one, I told the manager but the fake red head still got an attitude with me. Come on people.It's McD's. They do a pretty great job for what they are: A low priced restaurant. I am a little older and can tell you that they have come a LONG way with their menu. Lots more choices with more coming all the time. Give them a break. It's a good deal for the money. If you want 5 star service and 5 star food, go to a 5 star restaurant right? read more
