First , this is one of the best operated McDonalds any where... the owner operators treat employees well and they are all excellent and rarely quiet or leave.... I saw the new " Arch " burger being offered as of 3/3. I normally don't eat anything there except fish fillets when they have 2 for one specials... The arch burger was bigger by far than Big Mac patties... a very good sandwich but too many pickles 0n it, messy sauce,the shredded yellow looking lettuce mostly fell out? Should be slice or two fresh whole lettuce slices . The multi seeds roll was impressive. Burgers seasoned and a bit salty ... onion strings very good Definitely a lot of meat vs the dinky Big Mac burgers....no tomato ...worth trying it ... seasoned burgers definitely stepped up the burgers I think they will Larry this around and dump the 1/4 pounder that shrunk in size. read more

I really enjoyed my experience here . They have plenty of parking in the lot . It's also located near a train station , needham center stop on the purple line . Waited here for an extended period of time picking up an order that was placed 30 minutes ago! They were not even busy as well. Time management is not a skill they teach here, nothing is prepared ahead of time. So much for "fast food". read more

I've worked in the fast food industry before, I know that it's like. I also know it's extra hard to be working in a place like this right now. I'm not trying to bash anyone, I get it, however they really messed up my order. I asked for a big mac with no cheese, and it came with cheese which makes me vomit, I don't do well with cheese. But I decided to suck it up and take off as much cheese as I could to make it edible. I was able to eat about half of it before I couldn't do it anymore. Then I went to eat my chicken sandwich, bit into it and the chicken wasn't cooked through so I couldn't eat that either. Okay, at least i have my chicken nuggets ya and fries left. The fries were great, super hot and crispy just the way I like them. Then come time for the chicken nuggets, I open the bag to look for the sauce I asked for and there wasn't any. Disappointment. As I said, I know these are trying times so I don't want to be too hard on them, but when I was working in that industry I triple checked every order to make sure everything was perfect for the customer. Maybe if you were to give people a better pay rate or just acknowledge their hard work more then maybe they would be more inclined to double check everything and actually have some sort of care in what they give to their customers. i'm just really disappointed. I was going to this location for the past two years (from 2018-2020) and never had a problem. When the craving for the Golden Arches hits, this is the place. Why? 1. Incredibly fast drive-thru and they are NICE. NICE, they say "thank you" too. 2. Should you have kids with you or just be hung-over and starving on a Monday or Tuesday morning, it's all-you-can eat pancakes for $1.99 in the morning. Yeah. 3. And perhaps the most important reason for the 5-star review: they have Shamrock Shakes still available in April. Those things are hard-to-find in March, let alone NOW. McDonald's in general is only a place I go because it's close. This is one of the closest McDoanld's to my house, and definitely one of my favorite ones. In general, I wouldn't ever go to McDonald's..... I just LOVE Wendy's. However, there isn't one even relatively close to my house (or here) so when not in the mood to take a trip, come here. It's located right on Chestnut Street across from Roche Bros and next to the YMCA (yea, when I used to work out there this place was tempting so many times!), and was recently renovated into one of the most modern, new and bright McDonald's around. They have gone with a silver motif outside, and eliminated all of the rusted old building that used to be in this space.... thank goodness, because in a town like Needham, it was a complete eyesore. I haven't actually gone inside persay for a long, long time, but have heard from others that they have games and other activities (don't quote me on that though). Either way, they are the only drive thru restaurant in Needham (I'm surprised they are even allowed to have the drive thru!), and the service is always good and friendly. And for some oddity, they are consistently lower priced than the other McDonald's in the area, and have consistent good service. There has only been one occasion where the line WOULD not move, but that was years ago. I won't penalize them because the line gets long in the drive thru sometimes because it's the Town Of Needham's fault for not allowing more drive thru restaurants in (they should get penalized!). Good enough McDonald's and one of the best in the area. 4 stars. read more

Not happy! Half my order was not put in the bag at drive-up. I didn't realize it until we got to our location to eat. Now my son does not have dinner. Thankfully my daughter shared have her nuggets with him. I don't live in the area so I want part of my order credited back to my card. read more

Today was a nightmare at the McDonald's in Needham Ma - I went thru the drive thru like I always do & there is a new employee that could not understand my order - I always order 5 medium black ice coffee- how can you not get that right - he had 1 large ice coffee on the kiosk - I told him not large & want 5 medium. he still didnt get it right ! I drove to the window & held up my hand (5) medium - he proceeded to key in 5 large ice coffee - well after what he said to me he should not have a job especially customer service. I called over the manager because the employee told me to stop smoking & maybe he could understand me - REALLY !!! I have a medical condition that affects my voice. HE was rude & should never talk to a customer like this - I also told the manager I am there every day - which I am & usually have the nicest employees the women are.
