McDonalds has a business plan that is virtually flawless. Besides the fact that I love all their food, I love that it's prepared quickly and efficiently. The staff I have always encountered has been nothing less than courteous, friendly and attentive-helpful. This location was the same. It's very busy since their location is tied to a gas station off the parkway This location was a little smaller than I'm used to on Long Island bit that certainly did not slow down the flow of cars through the drive through and the amount of people coming through the doors. Burger and fries were fresh and hot. The location, while small is all windows and very bright. The restaurant was very clean. The person behind the counter greeted me with a big hello and was very pleasant and courteous. I can only imagine how overwhelming it can be when you're that busy and the team is preparing food as fast as they can. These reviews don't change much from location to location and I would not expect it to. Everyone does their job and follows the procedures... This always makes for a pleasurable experience. OMG! The wait time was insane!!! We were making a quick stop to grab lunch along our way home from Buffalo and we waited for almost 30 minutes to get our 5 McChicken Sandwiches and two French fries at this McDonalds. This fast food restaurant has drive-thru, curb side pickup, mobile order and in store order/pick up options. It was very busy and not enough staff to work. The cashier who took order at the counter would not help to put together the orders even though no one was ordering. The cashier just stood there and watched his co-workers to do work. Had a stopover here today from Syracuse driving south to NJ. I waited 20-30mins in drive thru when I am 2nd in the line. The staffs look very busy, running around and exhausted. Stopped here several times on road trips. Each time it has been significantly more deteriorated than the last. VERY dirty. Understaffed. Bathrooms never clean, never have soap, and never have toilet paper. In the main seating area trash piles up on the bins higher than I am tall. Trash all over tables. A worker from the attached gas station came over to notify the McDonalds manager of the constant complaints regarding the bathrooms and cleanliness. Managers response was "I don't have anyone to do that right now." Several more people complained in the few minutes I sat at a table. Plenty of dead flies stuck to 'sticky traps' in the food prep area. With all that being said, I've never had a problem receiving my order. Only long wait times. The woman at the window told me I might need to wait for fries but at the next window told me they were good. One fry later I found that they definitely were not "good" I simply let her know and she just had me pull forward and three minutes later I had my fries and her apologies that the fries hadn't been great. This actually is not a bad Mcdonalds. I went here early in the morning for a cup of coffee and a Egg McMuffin. The time it took for my order, my coffee, and my sandwich to be made was under 5 minutes. The taste of the sandwich and coffee was quite good and tasted fresh. The cashier was very generous and kind when checking me out. The inside of this McDonalds could use a remodel though and the restrooms are quite old and dirty. This McD use to be great. With recent price hikes, It now has outlived its usefulness. For a similar order, I pay $6 & change at a Wendy's compared to almost $10 here. Definitely not family or senior friendly. They've always had some issue with hiring managers that can keep the establishment as well as the customers feel appreciated. Service is often slow, food is rarely at proper temperature and as for managers, it's more like "Give me your money, take what we give you and get out. Better yet, don't come in".
