If I could give this Location 0 stars I would. I come here almost daily due to it being so very close to where I work. Ordering lunch here is completely pointless if you actually would like to eat food. I have ordered food here several times and have never received my order. When I called to ask about my order after 20 minutes or so from waiting in the curbside pick up location I'm always told they can now bring the order out. If they can bring the order out when I call why couldn't they bring it 20 minutes ago while I sit there waiting. This is happened at least four or five times to me but today was the last straw when I called to cancel my order and the employee answered and gave the wrong address for the location #1 (I guess he forgot where he was today), #2 refused to cancel my order. He then he proceeded to tell me they could not cancel my order there was nothing he could do and that (his exact words) could not help me navigate through the app. (He doesn't know where he is today but knows this to be true I am guessing huh) . I didn't ask for help to navigate the app that does not allow you to cancel orders. He then disconnected the call. I asked for him to cancel my order which they have done on so many other occasions by not providing me what I ordered. I have decided to never visit that location again no matter how close it is to my office. The customer service is horrible. The lack of urgency at a fast food restaurant (like wow 20 mins). Add that to employees cursing at each other at the window, and annoyed they have to provide me the food I paid for, this is the worst service I have ever had in my entire life, in any place I have ever eaten. I will now have to return to the location AGAIN, to properly cancel my order later today. I will never again be visiting with my office or my staff due to the total disgusting behavior. On January 17, 2025, I had the worst experience ever. I sent my maintenance man to pick up our lunch, it was made incorrectly 3 times. I returned my 2 Mcdouble's No Ketchup no mustard add mac sauce. The sandwiches I received had Extra ketchup. There was the nastiest attitude from the staff, after I was told to come back to get it replaced. I was getting questioned by three different people about my order. I eat at 2601 Jefferson Avenue possibly 6 times a week, because it is close to my property. There was only one person who was apologetic, after I am reconfirming my order several times, my bag was given back with cold nuggets. As my staff and I drive off, I realize my sandwiches are still made incorrectly. I told a worker who was leaving, she laughs and says sorry to hear that. The staff was aggressive, verbally and visually irritated and made it clear. The behavior was so disheartening, I didn't trust the irritation being witnessed so, I just chose to give it to a homeless guy on the corner of 26th and Huntington. It's been a while since I've been to a McDonald's but this morning I made a quick store run. My coworkers had a potluck and we all had to bring something green and someone suggested the Shamrock milkshake so i was on shamrock duty. I came inside around 8:30 in the morn and there was a few people on line ahead of me, maybe 4 people. The line moved pretty quickly. Well its walking distance from where I live so its cool. I don't really like McDonald's but sometimes I have this craving for cheese burgers and fries from there i don't know why its weird. So i decided to walk I arrive and order there was nobody in line but it seemed so hectic. These are the rudest, unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. I came here to get a quick dinner for my children and some of our food was not in the bag. The lady at the window parked us because I ordered fresh fish sandwiches. When the guy came out with our food and I checked the bag they forgot some items. I send my son to the window and she ask him for a receipt!!??!! You just parked us our order is still on the screen. Then they give him another bag and the order was still wrong. I go to the window and she keeps serving customers and closing the window in my face. I stand in the middle of the drive through and refuse to move. One of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to I drove for UberEats and I waited in a tremendous line just to get served cold food that was the wrong order at first and then went around again to wait in that dreaded line because the inside of the store was closed and once again was served cold food that wasn't worth a minute of my time the staff was totally unprofessional and looked at you numerous times before even coming near the window to serve you and they are clearly goofing off inside because you can see them, I don't recommend giving this place your money. read more

The most BS McDonald's in Hampton Roads. I live nearby and frequently go between the hours of 12am-4am. There is always an excuse for terrible service. EVERY time I am told the shake machine and frappe machines are down. one time around 2am I was told the shake machine does a self cleaning and was down, I asked when it would be back on and was told 7am. What machine takes 5 hours to clean. Tonight I was told it was a 30 minute wait due to a large order in front of me... Looks like people are using drugs in the bathroom stalls too. People were outside begging for money as well. The people that work there are okay, but it's in a pretty rough looking neighborhood. A few days ago I got here to order the only breakfast item they don't offer all day at 10:54am. I was asked could I hold at the menu sign and I said yes but I want breakfast. The lady came back to the microphone at 10:58am. I told her what I wanted and they said sorry it was after 11 and now lunchtime. I said no it is not. She put her boss on the microphone and she said they didn't have any steak egg bagel sandwiches left. I said are you really out or can you make me a frozen one? I can wait. She then said it was lunchtime and I didn't get there in time. Now, at this point all the frustration I have with this location came out. They are always getting my order wrong. I say no onions on a sandwich, and they take off the egg as well. WTF? Sometimes they remove the egg and keep the onion. They will not give you napkins or condiments even when asking for them. You have to ask twice. I told them they were f'ing ridiculous and drove off. Today I order the same item. When I get to the window to pay the boss that was rude to me the other day said "I know that was you Thursday or Friday last week. I knew you would be back because you don't stay too far from me. We always try to serve you." I could have brought up all the times they screw up my order (which she is very much aware). All I said today was I was here on time the other day to order my sandwich. She kept insisting I was not and that they always serve me and to not be like that. The drive through line was moving slow so I contemplated canceling my order. I decided no I would keep what I ordered and give them a lovely review that I was going to do the other day. They didn't put the tomato on my sandwich that I ordered today. I checked it before I left so I made sure I got it. Its kind of disturbing that McDonald's have managers that stalk you. McDonald's food is pretty standard at most locations; this one is no exception. I rarely go inside this one, but from what I remember, the restaurant is standard issue as well. It's located in an area that means some suspect characters do come in occasionally, which discourages me from using the dining room. However, where this McDonald's stands out is in friendliness. The staff are unfailingly friendly and nice. Sometimes remarkably so. I always am greeted with smiling, accommodating faces in the drive-thru, especially in the morning. read more
