I ordered one breakfast sandwich in the drive thru, they asked me to pull out front and wait in the parking lot. I said okay, even though I felt like my one egg sandwich should be quick. I had my baby in the back seat with me, and did not want to wait long, hence why we came to a fast food restaurant. The two cars behind me had to wait out front too and both of their orders came out before mine within just a couple of minutes. We, however, waited over 10 minutes for the ONE sandwich and I was worried they forgot about me. Meanwhile, more cars were going through the drive thru no problem. Stopped here for breakfast on the way down to LA. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and a sausage egg mcmuffin. No issues with the bacon biscuit, but my mom had found an egg shell in her sausage mcmuffin. All the mocha syrup was in the bottom of her coffee cup. I wasn't a fan that their soda refill station said "No refills" because of Covid. I haven't been to any other establishment enforcing that rule- so it just felt like a lame cost-cutting measure. Worst coffee ever! Yesterday went to their drive-though at 6:30AM. Ordered an egg McMuffin and large coffee: * Coffee was extremely stale and quite nasty (possibly leftover from the previous day or mixed with the previous day's batch). * Egg McMuffin english muffin was also not fresh (though not horribly so) and egg was barely warm. For over two years once a week, on thursdays, I use drive thru, I buy 2 Big breakfasts w hotcakes and 2 bkfst burrritos, until recently mostly meals are complete. Lately the orders were missing the hash brown potatoes every other week. So every time I order I ask at the window make sure the hash browns are in my take out order. Additional I ask at the pick up window are hash browns included? So yesterday my order was missing the 2 Hotcake syrup containers(s) and the two plastic eating utensils pkgs w/jelly-jam packets. OK, you say, WHY write a review of McDonald's? Why indeed. In spite of the 'political incorrectness' and the general social stigma of eating at 'fast food' places in general, i.e. ("Eeeewww! YOU eat at McDonalds???"), somehow it still remains in the top 5 fast food joints in the business...maybe its all of those 'closet McD's fans'. Today, I was on a mission. My mission, should I decide to accept it, was to give those 'new' Quarter Pounders, ostencibly made from 'fresh, not frozen' beef, a try. So, that being said, I accepted my mission , ordering one each of w/cheese (sic) and one without. No fries. No drink, other than water, to wash those tasty burgers down. My personal opinion, fresh or not, the patties seemed pretty much bereft of any of the beefy goodness that I associate with a Wendy's or a In-N-Out burger patty. Additionally, it seemed that perhaps the staff was trained to actually cook these patties on the medium-rare side...almost NEVER a good idea when dealing with ground beef of indeterminate source and quality...this is how E.Coli happens. (Holding my breath for the next few days...). Conclusion, please stay with the fully-cooked, safer (somewhat), and definitely tastier QPs. Service has definitely gone downhill. I went there to grab dinner a few weeks ago and the person taking my order didn't take it right, took me 20min to get home with food that was cold, I live 2 min away. I ask for a happy meal no onion, a filet, cookies and a chicken sandwich with no mayo. Only get the filet and they pull me over to the other window for the rest. They bring me the cookies and I let them know I'm still missing the happy meal, they bring it and I check it and it has onions so I ask them to te make it, the manager comes says it doesn't show that on the receipt...I ask them to make it the correct way. This ends up with me holding up the entire drive thru for over 10min. They are suppose average times at 90 seconds per customer. I start heading home and I'm half way there when I realize they forgot my chicken sandwich so I call, go back and the manger brings it out and we have a chat where I express how bad the service has been in general. All of my food is now cold and she says "not the cheeseburger we just made" like 5 min ago!!! It took me 20 min from when I pulled up, to that point in our conversation. I proceed to drive home and my effen chicken sandwich had mayo. I understand that they are training new hires but this is ridiculous because my interaction was with a manager who should have double checked the rest was correct or have some oversight of trainees. I didn't yell or raise my voice I just let her know I didn't think sending me home with 20 min cold food was okay and that their service was declining and the simple solution for me and others is to just not go there. I went during the heat wave to get some ice cream and cookies, they pulled me for the cookies for 5min with ice cream in my car on that heat lol wtf is that! This place is extremely exquisite. I took my boss and co-workers here to have a business conference and enjoy a meal. We had a wonderful 5 course meal and I enjoyed every bite. The value was outstanding as I only paid $4 for a cheeseburger. Only $1 for a fine iced tea, and just a couple bucks for some wonderful French fried potatoes. This McDonald's is attached to a Chevron gas station and the restroom situation was disgusting! 1 of the 2 toilet stalls was a horrid scene, unusable. In the stall that was useable, there weren't any seat covers or toilet paper. The floor was wet and had toilet paper throughout. No soap in the soap dispenser.
