So disappointed. We used to frequent McDonalds because they have My Daughters favorite Nuggets. Last time we got food it was 38$ for a family of 4 and when we got home the Fries were barely cooked (doesn't the fryer have a timer?) We had no Dipping Sauces at all. I rarely eat out. Wanted a 1/4 pounder with bacon. No cheese. You can clearly see the sticker. It ended up being just a regular 1/4 pounder. Was charged for the bacon. Didn't get any. Oh and the cheese. It will make me sick later but I was starving so I ate it anyways. Had to also wait in the now new, not fast food spot. This has to be the worst McDonald's location. Never get the order right, and there's even a sign on the wall behind the counter saying they won't tolerate violence or threats against their employees. I saw the sign as I was standing at the counter, waiting minutes to speak to someone about correcting my order while all the employees carried on as if I wasn't even there. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a McDonald's. First of all when i got there I had to wait 30 minutes in the drive through, because they where arguing with a cook about something and held up the whole line. After that when I got my food and finished eating I felt really nasty and come to find out I got severe food poisoning from the McChicken, also my Dr pepper was completely flat and tasted like absolute dog water, overall i don't recommend eating here read more

Placed order at 10:01 am and at 10:18 was asking for my money back because I was tired of waiting on my order to arrive. Manager say what was wrong and I explained what had happened and nNo apology, No what can we do to make it right. Nothing. Like their service. Nothing. Received my money and she said "hope you have a better day". Went to Braums and ordered basically the same thing and it was cheaper and had it in 3 minutes. Yes I had to walk up to pick it up but instead of wasting my time on something that didn't arrive and seemed "like it was no big deal at McDonalds", Braums you have my business. Worst sandwich I've ever eaten, i ordered the chicken sandwich, it arrived on a plain toasted bun with 2 pickles. The size of a quarter. It was so overcooked, almost burndt couldn't even bite off both. It was so hard after the second bite. I don't usually write reviews, but the McDonald's on Mount Vernon St. in Nixa has consistently been the worst fast food experience I've ever had. Every single time we visit, something is wrong with our order--whether it's a missing item or completely incorrect items. Less than two weeks ago, I left a review sharing how bad the service was, and unfortunately, nothing has improved. This morning, we decided to give them another chance and ordered McGriddles. The receipt clearly showed everything was ordered correctly, but once again, they messed it up. It's incredibly frustrating that this is a recurring problem. Sure, I could stop going to this McDonald's altogether, but I shouldn't have to switch fast food chains just to get a basic order right. This local feeding trough offers all the regular menu items with a 40-50% chance of messing up your order. Out of my last 15 visits in 3 months, 7 wrong orders.... sometimes crazy wrong, like other people's food. Then drive back through the horrible 2 lane drive thru to have to pull into a spot and wait for the correct food, then they tried to give me the wrong order again, more waiting, finally got our cheeseburgers with unmelted cheese. Tried to use the McDonalds app coupon and lady at the drive up pay station was frustrated by my trying to use it, she didn't know how to ring it up, more waiting, manager help. They have an old Mc Donald's sign along Campbell that needs to be fixed or taken down, it is broken, an eyesore, hopefully against city code, abandoned looking, and probably a reflection of the restaurant itself inside. I have decided to never go here again and drive up to the Ozark location by 65 and CC, it's new, much cleaner, and have yet to mess up and order after about 20 times. read more

I used to dislike this location and would drive to springfield for mcdonalds. It seema like they got there stuff together to some extent. I cant even remember the last time my order was wrong, and the service is usually quite good. My only realy complaint is how long orders take to come out. The food here is the same as every other McDonald's that I've been to. It is normally hot, and as good as can be expected. There are some really nice older folks that meet there for coffee. They add to the decor, and are always "solving the worlds problems" when I see them LOL. The staff here is the only detraction I have. If you go in, prepare to WAIT to get your order taken. They are extremely slow. Once your order is taken though, the food comes relatively quickly. My wife and I have noticed that the problem is worse now that they've gone to serving breakfast all day. I don't know if it is related, but it seems like a managerial issue more so than anything else. They are very focused on the drive through, and getting the vehicles out quickly, which I can appreciate. It just seems like they put their slowest employees on the counter so as not to slow the drive through. I wish they had the same urgency inside the store. Overall, it isn't bad if you do the drive through. Just don't go inside unless you are prepared to wait for a while. read more

Bad service at another restaurant does not warrant a poor review of a completely separate entity. This is a McDonald's. They're the same all over the world- staff that probably doesn't want to be there, and food that is the exact same as everywhere else. The one in Nixa is usually very clean, and has the cute old people that meet every morning for coffee. The food is hot and I've never once had a problem with accuracy, living here all my life. We eat here at least once a week via drive through. 98% of the time no issues but too frequently they make you pull into the penalty box to wait for order. (They should give out vouchers for these situations when fast food is not fast). Breakfast can be slow no matter what time you go through. read more

I was treated horrendously at a McDonalds in Lakewood WA to the point of being refused service & when I contacted McDonalds management to reconcile the incident, I was given an email directing any McDonalds to include my local McDonalds here in Nixa MO to give me a free meal of my choice when presented. I brought the email to the Nixa location and both the on-duty supervisor and the manager when contacted at her home refused to provide me the free meal that their management requested thru the email. They said that they were an independent franchise & didn't have to honor anything that came down from anywhere much less McDonalds management from another state. With suggeation from the manager from Washington state, I contacted their corp office on their 800 number and reported this. They also said they couldn't make them honor the email either, but would report the incident to the owner of the franchise. Nobody has tried to contact me since then about a month ago. And after been treated horrendously in Lakewood WA and then even worse here in Nixa, MO, I will never set foot in another McDonalds again. Condition normal. Our order was wrong as usual. I have to say, if you visit this Mcdonalds and want your order in less than half an hour use the drive through but check your order before you leave. If you are looking for entertainment with your meal go inside and watch the carnage. We have had many hours of entertainment over the years. From the thousands of incorrect orders to the ice cream cone left to melt on the floor after being dropped and later becoming airborne as it was kicked across the back of the store. And don't get me started on this new enter your own order option but wait in line anyway so that you can pay, talk about a waste of time and money. They really should install a revolving door to make it more convenient for customers to carry their messed up orders back in for exchange. There are always 3 lines. One to order, one to pick up your food and one to exchange your food for the right food. Make sure you have plenty of time and are in a good mood before you visit this McDonalds. read more

i was a employee for the location: nixa mo. i worked one day and left, due to a better job. when i arrived at mcdonalds for my shift i was told i was late and i was almost 5 min early. they expected me to be there 10 min early and no one informed me. then they asked me to shave again, although i had just shaved 2 hours b4 my shift(i was not getting paid for it either) the next day i called up there to inform them i had recieved another job offer, and that i would not be in for my next day shift. i recieved a phone call from a mgr from the mcdonalds asking me why i was not at work, when i informed the mgr that i had called the night b4 and who i spoke to, she hung up on me. i called back and the owner(helen) informed me that i wated their money and time in training me that one day for 5 hours, and that i should be more considerate. i got a job making 10 an hour verses their 7.25 hour. i had filled out the app for the 10 hour job 3 days prior to getting the job at mcdonalds. so when they called and offered me 10 hour and i thought the working inviornment could not be worse....i took the job. bottom line...do not work at this location, parents, do not let ur kids work at this location, they are slave drivers, and pay you nothing, and treat u like crap. do not go to the mcdonalds(nixa location) sincerely, g. jason tindall read more
