best mcdonald's i have been to around here. ice cream machine was surprisingly working...everything was clean. the food was fresh!

This place is awful. The dining room is just nasty. Trash all over the floors, and the customer service is terrible. It took forever for our food to come out. When the food finally did come out, it was freezing cold. The drink machine is disgusting. It is covered in gnats and flies and so is the ketchup dispenser. The drive-through line was wrapped around the building, and there was hardly any employees inside. I pressed down the ketchup dispenser, and a swarm of gnats came out from the inside of it. This specific location is extremely disappointing everytime I go. The last few times I've had multiple issues ordering. If you order a chicken item in the morning it will either be a frozen patty from elementary school or a rubbery hand breaded chicken breast there's no telling ... the lady who takes orders is inexperienced and she needs help at all times. I got the McRib today, December 4, 2020. Onions, pickles, and the toasted bread, were the highlights of the sandwich. Meat was a no go! Fries were hot, fresh, salted, and the box was full!!¡! I have been to this location a few times, as I work in the area. The experience has usually been pretty mediocre, (I usually don't expect much from McDonald's) but today was the last straw. I ordered ahead on the app (to try and save time), arrived, and still had to wait an absurd amount of time. To their credit, they did gift me an extra pie to try and make up for the wait. However, once I got back to my office, I realized that I didn't have the chicken nuggets I ordered, and I didn't have ANY of the sauce I ordered. When I returned to the restaurant, I tried explaining the situation to someone (I can only assume she was a manager), but she interrupted me before I could even get the entire situation explained. She acted as if I was an inconvenience to her, and was very passive aggressive. She grabbed the chicken nuggets, and when she handed me the bag, she told me that she put an "extra sauce" in there to make up for it. (She gave me three buffalo sauces, I guess instead of two, but I actually ordered four). I hate to be the person who goes through every bag before leaving the drive thru, but I guess I have to because this entire ordeal wasted a LOT of my time. The costumer service here is horrible. Employees do not speak clear or with a kind tone. When asked to repeat the sauces, the tone got worse. When we got to the window to get the food the lady forcefully handed the bag and walked away. When we looked at our food it was prepared wrong, for example I got a sausage egg biscuit and I only got sausage. If you want Mcdonald's and to be respected as a costumer, I suggest you do not visit this site. Mcdonald's should look into hiring new employees at this site since this is a hotspot for tourists who are trying to enjoy their vacation, not deal with a full grown women with attitude issues. Typical garbage low end staff being paid too much. Went over this morning to get two breakfast sandwiches using my app (2 for 1). The app worked to the point where you bring up the code. Neither the emotionless cashier or the no help manager could find a route to helping me. I have 100% had this happen before and at the location, a customer service minded person with a brain adjusted the order so I wasn't penalized by the app not working. Poor customer service. The person assigned to the drive-thru window was horrible, rude and impatient, rushing us to drive forward when we were checking our orders. She had an attitude when we asked if the cream and sugar was in the bag and she impatiently with an attitude cut us off saying "its in the bag!". Asked for some straws and she said the same thing, in the same manner and said "we need to pull up now". As soon as my family walked into this location, the woman behind the desk made eye contact and then walked off. Didn't come back for at least 3 minutes. No one else said ANYTHING to us in this time. Then once our order was finally taken, it was made wrong. And then a simple request to have it fixed prompted the so called "manager" to come out and explain that "what we received was exactly what we ordered and they weren't obligated to fix it." We showed her the receipt, and realizing that we were right literally ripped the tray out of my moms hands and walked away. Seriously this place is a joke and needs all new employees. read more

A fine restaurant, I say. I lunched at this newish McDonald's location today, and my experience was quite positive. The staff were fast and friendly, and my order came out just right. There was plenty of seating available, with a pleasing assortment of booths and stools (plus several sit-down tables, to boot), and I had no problem getting comfortable. With that, lunch was served, and I enjoyed it with a good book and good iced coffee and the good folks of Myrtle Beach. What's more, I engaged in brief (but sincere) conversation with an employee working the floor, which further enhanced my visit. The restaurant was attractive and clean, from the sidewalk to the bathroom, and I had no issues while there -- hooray! Much thanks to everyone who keeps this place going. Trying to get a chocolate milk shake the person interrupted two times during the order saying ,chocolate milk, and than again until I got a little huffy and said listen I want a chocolate shake, she stated the machine was down. Worst McDonald's we've ever Been to!!! We typically do not eat McDonald's and today reminded me why! We ate here twice during our stay at Myrtle Beach. The staff is bothered by anything you might need (like wiping down a table that had hair on it). Huge lines and only one cashier. On our second visit, they charged me for 3 OJ's on our meals even after confirming that the OJ's were a part of the combo. In addition to charging me for the three OJ's they gave me medium drinks (which I didn't ask for), they also got our orders wrong. When I told the manager- she was rude and couldn't care less. In addition both times we've gone there, there are huge lines and only one cashier. And the food--well it's McDonald's food- nothing like advertised (flat, greasy and grows). read more

Worst McDonald's service ever. Got in line around 11:46pm on 4 July 2019 just to get denied service and along with the person in front of me and the rest of the people behind me as well. They helped the person 2 cars ahead of me and the girl at the first window looked at me with a dumbfounded look and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. They need to get their priorities straight there and help the rest of the people in line instead of pushing people away at their closing time. Updated building. The employees are friendly however,they talk excessively loud with regards to what needs to happen behind the scene. Shouting how a burger needs to be made to meet a custom request could be heard throughout the dining area. Bathrooms were not kept up,should be check hourly. Seemed like the owner or a district mgr was on the building during my visit. Hopefully he will address these issues since he was there to experience them 1st hand. read more

I witnessed some of the worst customer service given by a manager. A customer was standing at the counter trying to get help for his order on the I mobile app. They were not able to find the order in their system. The customer showed them his order. The customer had made a mistake. Apparently the phone that makes the order has to be there, the manager explained. When you pull in it recognizes you are there and the order shows up. The customer explained that the mobile app didn't say that. The manager said yeah I dont think it does. So the customer asked can you get my order since I have been standing here. The manager said no I cant until it is rung up at the register. The customer asked can you ring it up. The manager repeated the same line. Obviously the customer didn't use the app correctly but the manager should have do e more to help and make it a better experience for the customer. Bad management. read more
