Visiting someone nearby so we stopped here for the drive thru. Mobile app ordering was easy, like all the other places. Have our code and got the receipt. Want anyone ahead or behind us at the time but after getting our drinks and a couple Happy Meals they asked us to move to the railing ahead to wait. Pulled up and waited. As we did we saw several other cars cover in and they moved to the drive thru waiting spots and mobile order waiting spots. I took this as the team there wanted to push everyone they without getting their items at the window. It did take a little while before they came out with a large tray of bags. They had to ask what my order was to ensure I got the right bag. Bag contained our order so no complaints there, just the wait was longer and not sure why no one was given their items in the window. It doesn't seem to matter which McDonalds I go to, very seldom do they get my order right. There is always something missing: fries or sandwiches, or napkins & straw. It's very frustrating that we've even gone inside to rectify the error(s), but given the long lines, it usually wasn't worth our time. Now the person taking the order has always been courteous & read back my order, which was correct. I even used the app a couple of times, yet both times, the order was incomplete. I'm not sure why this place is rated low, I like it. It's one of the few Mcdonalds that have 2 drive way order takers, and it's in a very convenient location unlike the McDonald's in montville, which can hard to get in and out on the big hill. Also the facility is very clean and there is plenty of parking. I also like the fact that there are 3 ways to drive in to the restaurant parking lot. The staff is night and so far had got my order correct every single time. Thumbs up! The reason I only Give McDonald's 4 stars in because they really could do a better job at getting with the times and serving healthy alternatives. Many of there healthy choices still have a ton of artificial ingredients, access high glycemic carbs and sodium. Just purchased an drive thru order here today because in store order are close due to COVID19 situation which I normally don't because I always order inside the restaurant. The employees are friendly and hard working no complaints, I order two big Mac, two filet of fish and two large fries but just the two LARGE FRIES I order I will definitely need to complain about it. Paying for two large fries ended up getting two medium size of fries or maybe less than medium. Here are photos of the fries I just taken out from the bag which we haven't touched yet. This place food is not even warm and no customer service with the night crew. Everytime I go there it is nasty. I basically get over priced cold fries. And the people are so rude. They just hand you your stuff and shut the window door in your face and are rude when they ask your order. The day shift is very different. I go here pretty frequently and can say the food is never hot, fries are usually room temperature/cold and taste like the oil is rarely changed or have been sitting out for hours. I've also ordered food from this place and they forget things pretty regularly. Last meal I ordered from Uber was a large 10 piece meal and 2 chicken sandwiches and 1 cheese burger. Customer service was awful the disrespect was astonishing. We ordered a m&m mcflurry and it didn't come along with our order, so we went to go ask for it and showed the receipt. Then the worker who we showed it to went to make it and he took the cup and the lid which he didn't even securely put on and started filling it up with ice-cream which he stopped mid-way. Also, when that was happening a girl who was also a worker was like "Oh my god that's so bad." and they started laughing and gave it to us, barely any m&ms inside the cup either. Super long wait times at the drive thru. Apparently, it's called "all day breakfast" because it takes all day to get your food. Maybe if you order burgers it's quicker, but I typically wait ten minutes or more for breakfast food at 1 or 2 pm, and am almost always asked to pull ahead and wait. Then they hand you the wrong bag. The mobile app has issues, and mobile ordering is NO quicker than ordering in person. It still takes forever to get the food. So what's the point? The iced coffee is inferior to Dunkin Donuts, but the food is good (when it arrives). I'm a regular at Dunkin, and will remain so. They are super quick and efficient, their food is also good (if a bit more expensive), and they rarely let me down. McDonald's, however, has frustrated me on each of my three visits this week. However, this location often can't keep up with the drive-thru orders, asking for you to pull into one of their two waiting spots, because they have run out of fries or muffins and have to make more. The most recent three times I have visited the drive thru, I've had to wait in one of those spots. So frustrating when you're on the go. read more

I give this place 0 stars. Waited 45 min for 4 sandwiches, some nuggets, and fries. Complained to management and demanded a refund which I didn't get because it was a $30 order, I was told "your won't get a refund at another restaurant and you ain't getting one here either". Yes; it's a Mcdonald's but this one has way too many problems. For a while they did better but then the staff changed too much again. Since they remodeled and put in that self-pay/order machine it is awful. The machine too often is either out of order completely or malfunctioning as in no receipt or takes order and then you have to pay at register anyhow. When you go the register the "Help" is no "help" not knowing what to do or how to do it compounding the machine's original issue. Then the "manager" has to be waited for and it takes them at least two attempts to fix things. By that time your order (what was prepared of it) is cold and you have been there way too long. Not returning to that McDonald's. When you submit the "complaint" via the receipt instructions/website you get a canned response explaining the need for the "self-pay kiosk" with no attention to the actual complaint. read more

This specific McDonald's is AWFUL. The employees here are SO incredibly rude. There's this one bitch who always takes my order and yells at me and gives me attitude for absolutely no reason. Upon arriving we noticed an employees hat wedged in the door. So we walked in and replaced the hat thinking that perhaps the door was messed up. The crew looked stunned that we were able to get inside. We asked if they were still open and they said yes but they had locked the door because there was some weird, creepy people outside. Reluctantly they took our order and we left. The very next night we walked to the store again at Thinking that the dining room would be open only to find out that it was closed again. I called the store and asked if their dining room was still open and she said it was closed for the night. There were people inside and I told the lady that there are people inside and she replied that they were employees waiting on their meals. All we wanted was a mcflurry so I asked if she minded if we walked through the drive through to order because they were not busy at all. She replied that her boss would have her head if she allowed that. I then replied that they should change the sign on the door if they are going to close the dining room every night and she said goodbye sir and hung up on me.
