Service was horrible. The drive thru order taker was very rude. I was not greeted, no words were returned by the young lady. Not even when I said, thank you. The drive thru gives me anxiety because of the way you have to pull on out of their drive thru. The lighting is not good on the entrance side of the building. So, I ordered my food on the kiosk and I got my order in less than 10 minutes and it was complete and accurate. This is an occasional happening at this location. This is EASILY the best McDonald's I've ever been to, and I wanted to finally write a review about it. My son is autistic and will only eat a limited amount of foods, so needless to say, we are at this McDonald's a LOT. We use the drive-thru, curbside pickup, and we eat inside the restaurant as well. I have never had an incorrect order, and never had old/cold/gross food. I have also never had to wait more than 5 minutes for any order! The staff seems to genuinely vibe with each other, and are ALWAYS positive and helpful with their customers, which is a rare and wonderful thing. The inside is always clean, quiet, and peaceful. This restaurant really feels like a pillar of the Norwood community, and all these employees deserve a raise for their continual hard work!! read more

all of the workers are slow. The guy at the window is so idiotic that he didn't even look at our drink order and he let our food sit for four minutes while we were at the window and whole time. I have never had a good experience at this location. One night a few years back I had an Uber Eats order from there, so around 11:15 I went and got in the drive thru line. There were 4 cars in front of me, but I was there for 45 minutes waiting on it. 20 minutes was spent at the second window. The person who ordered called to complain on ME and didn't tip me after like it was my fault. Just now, wife got a 20 piece nugget to split with her cousin. I got two fish sandwiches. When we got to the cousin's house, the nuggets had 18 in the box, and one of my fish sandwiches had a quarter slice of cheese on it and the tartar sauce was all in the corner of the box with barely any on the sandwich. HORRIBLE LOCATION! I made a mobile order at 10:36, sat in the drive thru in a massive line, and when I finally went to the talk box, no one ever came to take my order or ask if I had a pickup. I'm lucky I made a mobile order or else I likely would've been stuck in a non moving line and would have never gotten food. There are two drive thru, which I don't like. I don't eat fast food all the time, but when I crave for something bad, I go to Mcdonalds and get their fries and big mac. You know what you get with a McDonald's. Standardized food quickly prepared and at cheap prices. McDonald's has made reasonable strides in recent years to add some higher scale items, but for most people, it's just burgers & fries. This Norwood location is new, clean and nice. It was moved a couple of years ago when the Kroger was rebuilt. The employees are friendly and responsive. Wi-Fi is available, too. For me, this is really a model location for the company. It's still a three star review because, well, it's still unhealthy, commoditized food. The location can be a bit difficult sometimes for driving. The parking lot for the new Kroger makes navigation a bit difficult and many Norwood drivers lack comprehension of right-of-way. It's often more quick to get carry-out than drive through. McDonald's is my favorite Norwood fast food eatery. McDonald's food is ok, quick & cheap. This location is exceptionally fast & friendly making it one of the best. read more

I don't normally write reviews but I saw this McDonalds has been getting a lot of hate here and frankly I don't get it. I've experienced my fair share of terrible McDonalds experiences in my life, but I've gone through this particular drive thru probably 20 times in the last year and they... are fine. They're always busy but the line usually goes pretty quick, faster than I'm used to. Not once have they gotten my order wrong. Food is always hot except that one time when my fries were cold, but it's fast food, it happens, I'm not expecting world class service. My only gripe is that the people working the window when I go are usually quiet and seem burned out. But hey, reading some of the reviews other people have written on here it seems like their clientele features a higher than average number of pricks, so I don't blame them. You had one job! This location is very inconsistent which is a dealbreaker in fast food. All I am looking for is hot, consistent food. It doesn't need to be great, it doesn't need to be delivered with a chipper attitude; it just needs to be tasty and not give me food poisoning. Have been here multiple times now after moving to Norwood about a year ago. Drive thru is absolutely horrendous. I've also gotten completely wrong orders that were not mine. Firstly I come to Ohio to visit my grandparents but when it comes to food she likes to make food. Sometimes though she get something from McDonald's or some other place. Yesterday we came here to get food, the first thing is the person taking our order was giving us an attitude. She started by saying " what you want" we ordered our food, and waited for a while. Finally like 20 minutes later our food came and some of it was cold or soggy. We also saw the person making the food touching her hair and face. First I want to say that I don't have high expectations when I go to a mcdonalds, but when I do go I expect to have quick and professional service. Considering that I used to work at one, I don't feel that that expectation is too much to ask for. That said, this mcdonalds is notoriously slow. I usually go inside to order just one item, being the service is slightly quicker, but not here. The drive thru is just as bad. Yes they have two speakers, but they still only take one order at a time so it doesn't speed the process up anymore than having only one. My second complaint is with the professionalism of the from counter staff. They always seem too busy to take my order even when no one is in the building, or drive thru, and they are going through one of their slow periods. I find that I really only get any service is when I stare someone down, and even then they tend to ask in a slightly rude way what I want. Again, I used to work for a mcdonalds so my expectations aren't that high, but that said, speed and professionalism aren't too much to ask, and this place is lacking in both areas. read more

I went there to pick up my DoorDash order. It was 2 A.M so understandably I knew they probably wouldn't be able to find a dasher so early in the morning, I decided to just grab it myself. I pull up to the speaker at 3:30 and I guess they closed at that time to get ready for breakfast. But I told them hey I placed this order an hour and a half ago and was wondering if they had it. They kept going on "is it breakfast?" And I said no. Then they went away for a while (obviously giving it to another person to deal with me) A few minutes passed with silence (obviously hoping I'd just go away) and I said hello? Which I am genuinely a nice person and wouldn't have been mad if they just said I'm sorry but we don't have it. But someone answer it after I said hello and they were in a very rude tone "We don't have any door dash orders for you. The only order we have is a burger and a 10 piece (which wasn't what I ordered) so you can go now bye". Now this is no way to treat people...
