The one bad thing about this place? The cars/parking lot. This drive thru has a 2 speaker system. So cars get backed up in 2 rows, or one really long clusterfuck of a row, and just getting in there coming from Kroger is a pain enough. But as long as you aren't that jerk that cuts everyone off, and don't pay attention to where you are in the line it's not bad. The inside is of the newer, nicer McD's fair, and is generally pretty clean. They're not quick but their not slow inside either. There are a few tables for groups which is nice, and there's a PlayPlace outside. Bonus! read more

You guys, it's McDonalds. What were you expecting, Jeff Ruby's? This is one of the better McDonald's that I've visted. It's very close to home for me, so I'll often stop in for an Oatmeal before zooming off to whatever location I'm working in for the day. I get my oatmeal, I get my coffee, and I get out. To me, that's a perfect Mickey-D's experience. No frills, no muss- just give me my food and get me on the road. Only once have I ever had to pull aside and wait for food, and they gave me a coupon for a free small fry. When my boyfriend and I went through tonight we were completely unimpressed. I had ordered 2 meals, 2 drinks, and 2 burgers. When we first ordered everything was correct but then for some reason the guy taking our order took off one of the meals and one of the drinks. When I realized they had been taken off we waited at the window to tell someone our order was wrong and no one seemed to care. Finally the manager came up to us and I told her what had happened. She asked what we wanted her to do about it and I told her I wanted the rest of my order, the drink and the meal. About 5 minutes later she walked out and handed us just the burger from the meal and no drink. This sort of thing happens way too often at this location. read more

Just your typical McDonald's in a not-so-safe area with some interesting characters. If you just want a quick bite or place to people watch, this is the McDonald's for you. Orders and service (especially drive thru) can come either super fast to 30 minutes after placing your order. Do not be surprised if your order is wrong but the people are nice enough to fix their mistakes and do what they can. read more

If I could lower than a one I would. Waited in line for 20 min then told to hold on for minute. After that they said they're are only taking online orders and door dash orders. They say they are open for 24 hours but I guess that was a lie! If you say u are open for 24 hours your drive thru should reflect that. read more

I have not had good experiences there. I am a broke college student who just wants a cheap iced caramel coffee and today was my last straw. Always a long wait when I come here. But fries are always hot and the foods not sloppy. I like the two drive thru idea but usually only operator so it defeats the purpose. I went around noon on a weekday and the drive-thru had about 6 cars so I walked inside and no one was in line. In general, I have found the fast food chains I've frequented in Cincinnati to have poor inaccurate service with workers who blatantly display their hatred for their job so I was rather surprised when the cashier who took my order was extremely genuinely friendly with a big smile on her face and the worker who gave me my order was the same way. I only ordered an iced coffee but it was delicious, came out quickly, and half the price of Starbuck's. read more

Wow.. after trying to come here 8 different times between 2 and 5 am we've ALWAYS been told they aren't taking orders. I've never been more disgusted and disappointed in an establishment. We were told to wait Just a moment to have our order taken then all the sudden NO orders were being taken after waiting 4 minutes. Yet the car in front of us was able to place an order as was the other car we passed 10 minutes after going back by after having to go to another fast food establishment. When you have time to write a Yelp review while you're in the drive thru, you know it's bad. I've been here at least 25 minutes with maybe 6 total cars. I'm also, at this point, trapped, so there's no turning back Side Note: McDonald's has been around how long?! When will they perfect the art? Anyhow, I don't want to spend too long on this review because, well, it's McDonald's. The only redeeming factor was Kilroy who told me to have "a beautiful night." That was sweet. The food was what I expected; however, now that I'm home and continuing my review, they added cheese to the plain old sausage biscuit. Anyhow, people like myself will continue to support this business, despite the untimeliness of the "fast food," so this review is in all odds more cathartic than useful, so there's that. So after a 12 hour shift all I wanted as to get something to eat and head home. I pulled in the drive thru, was greeted, and asked to place my order. After finishing my order, I was told my total and was informed they were only taking cash. I apologize cuz I did not have any and started to drive off when I remember the mobile ordering. one of the workers was hanging out the side door having a cigarette and I stopped and asked if mobile ordering would work with them only taking cash. she said she was unsure and went inside her quick second with her cigarette coming back out to tell me "we are only taking cash" I asked again if I could order and pay on my phone. Doesn't look like this McDonald's has been reviewed in a while. Maybe the management has changed (the main thing complained about in a lot of previous reviews). I stop here once a month or so at lunch time when the kids have fallen asleep in the car and I want to let them finish napping before unloading everyone into the house. The service is pretty quick and they've always gotten my order correct. The fries are almost always piping hot. The service is friendly. The double drive-thru runs smoothly. I've never gone inside, always used the drive-thru. It can get backed up a bit with the rush hour breakfast rush, but the drive-thru still seems to move at a pretty quick pace. read more

I work down the road and thought I would swing through the drive-thru. Ordered a meal with smoothie as a drink instead of a pop and was still charged $2.00 for a drink and the drive-thru girl couldn't really explain why. Then my smoothie came out with a strong coffee taste, which does not go well with strawberry banana. It was absolutely disgusting! I called and spoke with the manager, Sylvia, who offered to take car of my $2 but didn't seem to concerned about coaching her staff or really making it right. This is by far the worst drive thru ever. My sister and I were in the drive thri for over 10 minutes waiting on a cup of tea. We would have left but the way it's set up once you're in you're in. I like this McDonald's. I have grown on this one. Used to be terrible, but nowadays at least the staff makes it enjoyable. One of the managers, Ron, is always pleasant. He works hard at trying to delegate things and is always super nice and thorough with orders. It's a pain sometimes dealing with the drive thru, which is a double lane drive thru, but I still frequent enough because they overall do things right. My friend and I ordered just a plain chicken sandwich, a large fry, and a milkshake. Simple. The young woman taking our order definitely had an attitude, but such is life. We get he order and walk out; sandwich isn't plain, and the fries aren't fully filled. We walk back, and the woman who we see is perfectly fine. She says she'll just replace it, no big. Super pleasant. Plus, the fries were crispy hot and wonderful. First service was crap, but the second round was as good as a replacement can be. read more

Visited the McDonalds at 4594 Montgomery Road at 3:30 AM and received the absolute most ridiculous service I have ever had in my entire life. The entire establishment is a complete disarray. The only we're accepting cash, which seemed odd because the computers were functioning. They extremely rudely got on the intercom and said "hold on" and we waited for over 10 minutes. During this 10 minute period, we watched an employee take 2 cigarette breaks and another employee take a cigarette break. Finally just drove up to the window where there was a lady standing there texting. I stated that we had been waiting for 10 minutes and no one came and she snapped back that I didn't pull up far enough. I told her someone had gotten on the intercom and said to hold. She acted so beyond confused and then proceeded to take our order. Once, then again, then a third time. We pulled up to the second window and there were three employees cleaning. The entire process from start to finish took almost 45 minutes. When you go to McDonalds, you pretty much expect you're going to have a miserable experience, but this one took the cake by far. read more

Not sure why asking for something as little as extra keep or mustard or a sauce on a sandwich is such a hassle. They never get our order 100% correct, but it last drive-thru experience I requested extra Big Mac sauce, and when I approached the window to get my food, I was rudely told by the ghetto girl at the window, "since you had to get a special order, you gotta pull up to the side and wait. we brang it out whenever it's ready" and ten minutes later she comes out and seriously tosses it into my car. I get home, and it's not even right. No extra sauce, also missing the nuggets we ordered, and the other two sandwiches we ordered were cold. Drove back and went inside to get it all corrected, and the other ghetto girl told us to check before leaving the drive-thru window. I told her our food wad brought out to us cause we were told to pull around so we really assumed it would be accurate, and her reply was, "well I'm not sure what you expect us to do about that". I think what I and everyone else expects is to just do your job and this problem wouldn't occur every time. After personally speaking to a few of them time over time and hearing excuses in cringe-worthy broken English I do understand that for some, a job like that is very difficult due to their upbringing and education, and I do keep choosing to go back and take that risk of wasting a few bucks on another surprise order. So I suppose there is ignorance on both sides. But when their fries are fresh they are very delicious and if you hit them early in the day during a weekday, there's a 75%+ chance of an accurate and hot order. read more

I always pay with Apple Pay and they are never ready to accept it. They put the reader between the monitors when it should be to the far left ready to put out the window it makes absolutely no sense to keep moving it back and forth every time I come through, and I can't be the only one using Apple Pay or google pay. There are two lanes for ordering, but the cars line up all the way down the side of the store before one care figures that they can pull ahead to the other lane. Slow service, make sure you check your bag to make sure you got everything before leaving. The employees are slow. read more
