Friday night October 31at at 11:48 went through the drive up window. Sat there for 3 min waiting to be helped..( light still on) and another car was behind me, and no one took my order. Drove around to window 2 some girl looked at me walked on by didn't say a thing. But sat there in the drive through. 11:52 she came to the window , I tried to place my order and she says that they are closed. I mentioned the sign says Midnight . She says that her clock says midnight and I said well my phone says 11:53 . She says we are closed . And she closed the window and walked away. I thought that was pretty rude. I didn't even get her name. McDonalds if your sign says midnight stay open to MIDNIGHT!!! And yes I will be calling the management in the morning. I wish I could leave no stars but that's not a option either . read more

We've been here a couple of times for a quick snack. No complaints. It's a basic McDonalds.

I took my Father to see my Mother in the hospital. They are 93 years old and use a wheel chair. On the way home we stopped in this location in downtown Novato, Ca. I ordered my meal at 11:39am. I got my food and asked can I please have extra KETCHUP and extra napkins. I was told they had ZERO KETCHUP! I told her then go get a cup and go out in the dining room and please get me some KETCHUP. She said they had ZERO out there. I told her to let me talk to the Manager. He finally came to the window and I explained he said we have NO KETCHUP? Did anyone go to another location and borrow some? He had NOTHING to tell me or say he was sorry and tried to accommodate my simple request! So, instead of being about to relax in the parking lot with my disabled Father and have a fun time I had to drive us back home 15 minutes and go in the house and eat and my fries with KETCHUP and put extra on the dry now cold food. NOTE, I checked my burgers and there was KETCHUP on them! Cold food & huge restaurant chains manage could not be proactive with one on the top used condiments in the restaurant. Like I said, I could not believe the ignorance and then lack of concern by the Manager on duty! read more

This place is downright sickening I had stomach issues for 2 months. Their food is horrid and I can't stand there employe satisfaction. I asked for one simple burger and a drink and they gave me a land sea and air burger . Also it's worse to be in an airplane then to eat there. read more

Horrible experience from the very first moment. We pulled up to the drive thru around 7am on Wednesday aug 16 while on our way to the airport. We ordered 2 egg mc muffins, #1 with egg whites and yellow cheese, and an extra hash brown. The first guy that took our order said he couldn't understand us. There were 3 of us in the car. We all tried to order and they didn't understand us. They called a woman over to try to take the order. She didn't understand either. We heard her speak Spanish so we tried to order in Spanish too. They still didn't understand and asked us to pull around. By now the line behind us was already at least a couple cars Long. There's no one at the pay window so we pull up to the pick up window. We say our order again. The guy finally puts it in the computer but when it comes to my sandwich (egg mcmuffin w egg whites) he doesn't know how to select just egg whites so he calls the manager (the woman who also couldn't understand us before). She acts annoyed that he's asking how to put my sandwich into the computer and in Spanish says "just give her the egg white delight." Newsflash! We speak Spanish, hence trying to also order in Spanish. I respond that I do not want an egg white delight and she reluctantly puts my sandwich request into the computer. Then I try to use my mcdonalds app to get $2 off. The guy scans it, they say the computer doesn't take it. They try again. He calls the manager over again. She just stands there and tells him no from the other counter she's standing at. After the guy calls her over a couple more times she finally comes over and doesn't even try to fix anything she just says she won't take the coupon, there's nothing she can do (not even let us have the extra hash brown which would've been about $2), lies and says the manager isn't there (even though it was her - I think her name was Esmeralda), and basically tells me she refuses to do anything. Meanwhile, the woman in the car behind us is beeping and yelling "excuse meeee" out of her car window. It was literally ridiculous. It is really disappointing to have such horrible, rude, and slow customer service when trying to place a small order at McDonald's during regular breakfast hours. read more

Love there fries and burgers just wish thy would always give fresh fries. I hate it when my fries aren't fresh

I work with the Novato Mothers Club and we get donations from local buisnesses to help with our events for Novato Mother's Club members. I have to say McDonalds on Redwood Blvd. has be so generous with donations! What an amazing owner and place. It really says something about a company when they get involved with the community and help out. read more

They took forever to give me my order on uber eats kept adding more and more time still haven't gotten it.

two stars for the slow service. went here a month ago and took so long I finally had to leave. my order was chicken nuggets and a coke. not sure what was going on that day but it wasn't the first time they took forever for a simple order. I'll still go back because i like them nuggets but come one people. read more

Usually a good location, today the person taking the order kept arguing with us. We ordered a Big Mac by itself and got a "are you sure?" , ordered a 20-pc mcnuggets (got same question), ordered a 10-pc mcnuggets and the argument really took off...she kept insisting on selling us another 20-pc mcnuggets back and forth several times. Then she took OFF the 20pc and only had the 10pc and we asked her to put back the 20 pc and the argument started all over....we almost just drive out of the drive through to go to another restaurant. What would usually be a 10 second order turned into 3-4 minutes. Please train your employees to place the order like the customer wants and not to argue with the customer about it. read more

I walked in here the other day to a crowd of I'm assuming one of the cashiers friends. They were lingering around and talking to the cashier and I was in a slight rush so I couldn't get around to order. They finally moved and the cashier seemed to be very annoyed that he had to actually serve me. He was extremely slow and continued to miss-hear my order. His name was Tal and he must have been new or something, because he was absolutely horrible. I proceeded to order a Big Mac, but I wanted to alter it and remove some of the condiments, and at that point he seemed overly annoyed with me and gave me a look and a heavy sigh. At this point he continued to be flat out rude with me and continued to roll his eyes. A couple of eye rolls later, he gave me my receipt and there was a large milkshake on there in which I did not order, so it took even longer to fix. I finally got my food and left after being in there for 15 minutes. Overall, this was the WORST and slowest experience I have ever had here, and this young man Tal made it so much worse. He was extremely slow and inexperienced, and overall had no idea what he was doing. I will not be coming back here any time soon due to slow service and horrible employees such as this young man. My advice, FIRE this young man, he made my experience here absolutely atrocious and I will not be coming back. read more

So I homeless guy walked in with a dog panting and he had a jug. He asked for water and they workers denied it because he was homeless. Me and my friends wanted to give him money for water and food but he ran away upset and almost crying. I went to the front asked for water and got so mad be a we they denied TAP WATER for his suffering dog. The workers here are disgusting don't go here if you want good service. read more

McDonald's is McDonald's. If you haven't been to Mcdees your either not from this planet or your severely, severely deprived. This is not gourmet food, but more like comfort food if you ask me. When I'm in a different country and I'm getting homesick Ima grab my ass some fries and a Big Mac. Lately I been on a Egg Mcmuffin and Sausage Breakfast Burrito kick, luckily for me I can get it anytime of the day now. This location usually gets shit right but on occasion has forgotten a few items. Their opened pretty late which is a plus, and staff is usually cheery. read more

Family has lived in Novato for years and for years this particular location just can't get a large order right. Almost Never! Tonight we finally had had it so we called to let them know that they had forgotten two chicken sandwiches. The manager, whose name sounded like 'Eshawn' was very rude and just didn't want to hear what we had to say. he offered us gift certificates but it was just the point, they screwed up once again. we insisted that we wanted the two sandwiches and the orders done right the first time. He stuck with the gift certificate offer and we stuck with the sandwiches. He then, get this, said, "I'm not giving you any Fu*&*%g sandwiches!" Gee, such kind customer service. We did drive to the restaurant and talked to the clerk who helped us in the first place. He apologized and got the sandwiches. The manager stood there and did the right thing. Kept his mouth in check. I do not expect much from any McDonalds but I surely did not expect this! read more
