When we asked for double espresso in the large iced americano, they informed us that the it already includes 6 shots- woah! We downgraded to 4 shots in a medium cup, but recommend keeping it in a large cup. Also tried their signature "scmuffin" and it was yummier than it looked! There's a good amount of seating available outside. I'd consider coming back as a stop while taking a trip north. I'd usually look for more of a craft roaster, but there doesn't seem to be anything like that in the area. Also their menu is HUGE. I imagine if you're into smoothies or more flavorful lattes that this would be up your alley.

We went to Nekter because we wanted a lighter snack/meal that wasn't too much. When you walk in, there is a case of pre-made juices and also a kiosk to order bowls or smoothies. They have a good assortment of acai-type bowls with fruit, yogurt, granola, etc. I got the PB&J one and it was delicious. It seemed like it would be easy to customize exactly what you want but I was fine with the standard order. There were plenty of tables outside and inside to sit and enjoy. This wasn't a cheap snack but it was good for a light meal.

I stopped in for a smoothie and ended up ordering a smoothie bowl instead. I'm glad I did--the Mango Sunshine Bowl was delicious, fresh, and very satisfying. It's also conveniently located near the freeway. Most of all, I loved the spacious outdoor patio and the fresh air. It was such a wonderful atmosphere.
