McDonald's - This says it all .. I can't believe it.. I'm speechless Please read this - Fast Food Near Me - Novato, California

Went here for coffee the other day. Easy parking friendly fast service. My review is limited to having purchased only coffee and two cookies. Food and drink fine. Ambiance great... looked remodeled. Parking easy. I see many have had bad experiences here. I went late at night also not during a busy time. Bathroom was clean enough that it didn't leave a bad memory a day or two later while I write this review. read more

Me and my boo went here for dinner and we're not anti fast food but this stuff was gross I wanted to come because I like the fries at mc donalds and THEY weren't even good. They didn't put cheese on my quarter pounder with cheese and now that we've eaten it we feel sick. The quality of the food has gone down since the remodel which I thought would be impossible for fast food and on top of that the prices have gone up. Cmon Mc Donalds you're killing me. I'm kind of glad this experience was so bad because I'm trying to stick to my diet and I actually don't want to come back here anymore. Maybe I'll try Mc Donald's San Rafael next time. read more

I've been purchasing food from this McDonalds location since I was a little girl in 1969...without incident...until now. Last night, I ordered a Big Mac and, after eating over half the burger, I bit into this long item that I had thought was just a piece of onion skin. After trying to break it, I noticed it was not an onion but a long piece of string instead. It looked like that of a tampon string! It was positively revolting!! I called and spoke with the manager, Theresa I think she said, but she simply dismissed my issue and told me to contact GrubHub for a refund.  She never even apologized or anything! I am NOT happy about this at all. And since when do employees answer the phone of a business as, "Hello", instead of, "McDonalds, how can I help you?", or something of the sort? Later, I called her back to get her full name, since she didn't give it to me the first time, and she said I had the wrong number and hung up on me!! WOW, how sketchy is that?? I knew it was the correct number because I hit redial from my last call, which was to McDonalds. I also recognized her loud obnoxious voice. This is VERY unprofessional behavior and she should be fired for this!! This is going to corporate AND the BBB. This whole experience has made me never want to eat at another McDonalds for the rest of my life. read more

I mobile ordered breakfast at 10:25 am and showed up at 10:28. They canceled my mobile order because they said I didn't get there in time for them to make breakfast. They said they were sorry and since they canceled it on their end, I would get a refund. I asked if I could get a receipt for the cancellation they said no. Two days later I look at my bank statement, and they still charged me! I never received a refund. Their employees are not customer service forward, and rude. And they charged me for an order I never received. read more

Second time I have ordered a Fish Fillet. First time: off the rack stale and old. Second time I ordered "Made To Order". Told to wait in parking space #3 for it to be made, but Wait! Here it is sooner than expected at the window for immediate pickup! All right!! Except it was just microwaved old rack stuff. I could tell from the way the bun was rubbery and the tartar sauce was hot. The manager here is obviously only interested in cost cutting-- not customer service or satisfaction. Unlike the location in downtown Novato. Avoid if at all possible. read more

It is sad to see that this personal has not training at all on customer service, every time I come in they totally ignore you no eye contact nor greetings, at least say "I'll be right with you" tonight was the last time I come to this place. Ironically, the very day I posted my previous review, they messed up our order! It wasn't the order taker's fault, though, because the receipt was correct. They gave us a cheeseburger instead of a hamburger...so my daughter kindly traded her brother her fries (that she had been planning to dip in her shamrock shake) for his burger. ALWAYS check the bag! When will I ever learn... Yelp wouldn't let me post the above when I first wrote it, so now I've been back another time, and guess what? They did us wrong again! And it wasn't the order taker - three times she said "hamburger, ketchup only" and they gave my son a burger with everything on it. Thankfully, afterwards (before I knew about the mess up), I bought spam musubi at the new Hawaiian place next door, so when he unwrapped his burger and his face fell, I was able to instantly cheer him up...that, with apple pie and fries did the trick :) ...So not only must I check the bag, but actually unwrap everything - what a pain. Ordered through mobile app and picked up curbside. Told the guy who brought out my food that I was missing a large fry. He said "no," and walked off. I go into the lobby and show the same guy my receipt via phone. I state a meal means it comes with a side, meaning wtf my fries at? He claims he goes by the monitors on their screen and sees no fries. He keeps pointing to monitors in the back stating "see." I reply I can't see it's far, you want me to walk back there and check your damn monitor. We go back and forth and finally a lady, assuming a manager finally hands me the fries that go along with the MEAL. She apologizes on his behalf, all he could say, "I don't know what mobile order is." Thanks for the rest of my food getting cold. You should probably have that dude stick to frying fries. read more

I hate this location!!! Our order is always wrong, If we use the app they never find our order until they see how angry we get, then they magically find it. Their smoothie machine is ALWAYS broke!!! Fries are always have way empty!! I wish I could give this place no starts. Even if its an extra 5 min drive to your other nearest location I would highly recommend you make that drive... read more

Watch out, this McDonald's is scamming people. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a #2 (2 cheeseburger meal) which is advertised to total $5.39. The drive-thru guy rang each item up individually, which cost $1.10 extra. Not a huge deal for me, but I bet they make a killing doing this to every customer. I asked the lady at the next window about it, and she said she'd look into it. A minute later the manager comes over, quickly hands my food over and shuts the window without a word, an without giving me a chance to comment. I have avoided this location for years as my experience has been horrible service, ice cold fries, sloppy burgers and my order being wrong most of the time. They were closed down for sanitary reasons, re-modeled and now open again. Last night I thought I would give it a try and simply wanted a hot fudge sunday through the drive through window. How can you mess that up? I asked for a sunday with nuts and received the ice cream melted with ice cold hot fudge and no nuts. I asked for nuts and the girl at the window did not know what I was asking for. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the nuts will be available tomorrow. That's it for me at this location I'm done for life! PS...I worked for McD's in high school and they are breaking every rule in the book! read more

Just got here wanted to use the restroom before ordering. One bathroom was occupied. And the other was locked. I thought someone was just in there taking a crap. I waited. Then a worker goes in with a key. She pees and DOESNT I REPEAT DOESNT WASH HER HANDS FOR 20 seconds!!!!!! She was in and out of the restroom in 20 seconds... if that. The. As she comes out I ask if I can use the restroom. She forces the door closed behind her and said no it's just for employees.... it does t say that on the door... I had the rudest lady at the drive thru on 10/26. When I pulled up to order she just said hello, when I asked if she was ready she rudely told me she was waiting for me, no greeting nothing. Then when I pull up to pay she has gotten my order wrong. She starts to fix it (no apology) and didnt even fix it correctly. The inside is closed so I had to park in front of construction equipment and run back to the window in between and ask then to correct it again. Still no apology from anyone about the mixup. I feel like maybe the staff needs some customer service training. read more

I have been to this particular McDonald's multiple times where they have closed before the time of actual closing (midnight). This is by far the worst McDonald's out there. Lazy workers, at least update the hours online. read more

I had the worst experience ever at any McDonald's here... The burger was cold and sloppily thrown together the cheese sticks we're not even cooked... Ice cold!! I went to the drive-through that's where they gave me my iced coffee and burger then asked me to park to wait for my cheese sticks... Seriously... I repeated an order 3x for 4 cheese burgers with no onions and pickles and asked that they just puts them on the side. I get to my pick up window, checked the burgers and all were full of pickles and onions smdh. I have kids that are allergic to pickles and onions. The manager said my order was confusing and I should have just said only put ketchup and mustard on the burgers. I do not understand how my request was confusing. They burgers come with cheese, mustard, ketchup, onions and picked. Therefore I should have gotten the burgers without what I asked for. Diet Coke McNuggets were lukewarm. The fries had excessive salt, lukewarm and limp. Serving size was lacking, I attached two pics of the fries. McRib was also lukewarm. A very disappointing visit. I really do not like their food for the exception of breakfast. Like oatmeal, yogurt, coffee. I ordered a hot coffee and it was scalding hot! It burn my tongue so bad I spit it out in my car, and all over my shirt! I am typing this with ice in my mouth, ugh watch out for the scalding hot coffee that will burn your tongue! This is a great McDonald's! All the times I've been, it seems that there are groups of friendly "regulars," which makes me feel warm and fuzzy. The young man who works as cashier in the morning is super-courteous, and kind of cute, too. The coffee's hot and yummy, and everythingelse I've ordered has been as expected. The dining area and bathrooms are remarkably clean - bonus! Note: the Play Place is outdoors, so not a good option if it's raining. read more

Ordered a dubl cha burger fries a drink and a sundae. I was given a cheeseburger instead of a dubl. I had to pay $1 extra for their mistake, and when I received the burger it was a McDouble. That only has 1 piece of cheese where the dubl cha burger has 2 hence the name dubl chz burger. I gave it back they turned around threw a cold piece of cheese on my burger then handed it back. I asked the manager if this is good customer service and she asked to see the burger so she could see what "they" did. Idk what she wanted to see she was the one that had the chz put on there all sloppy like. Don't expect your flurry to be blended or the sanitizer wipes to be stocked. They should sell their parking lot to L&L and close up shop.

It's the same as every other McDonald's, so you know what to expect. Service is always prompt and accurate.

I had tried this McDonald's two times and neither time was pleased. The first time, I had an order ready to feed 5 people and every time I ordered an item off the menu, they asked, is that all in the the most annoyed voice. Every time I said no, they would sigh. When I was finished, I received the meals and by the time I got home, all but one order was right. The second time, I approached McDonald's with a more happy attitude, ignoring my first attempt and still the attitude from the workers was poor. I said thank you regardless and I got no response. Okay.... When I received my order, I received it from a man who had the words "Fuck You" tattooed on the tops of his hands. I was offended that the tattoo was not covered up and found out greatly unprofessional. read more

ZERO STARS NOT AN OPTION. THIEF. 6/23/2018 around 5 p.m. male cashier. I gave the cashier at drive through window 1 some cash and told him to put the rest on my card. He said that my card was declined. I asked him, did you put the cash on first. he said yes and that my card was declined. After a few seconds, he said its om just go. i found out later after looking at my card and reciept that he charged my card more than he was supposed. I realize now that when he told me to go, that he realized his mistake. Rather than fixing his mistake, understandable, he stole my money. The amount of money was insignificant to me, the fact that the cashier is a liar and a thief is the problem. read more
