We stopped here for breakfast on the way to backpack in Emigrant Wilderness and it was great. Clean, remodeled, and with self-service kiosks so that you can order yourself and not be asked if you want to "add fries with that?". The food came out quickly and it was what you would expect from McDonalds. I liked the self-service kiosks - the screen was big, and you could choose between English or Spanish. There were pictures of all the food, and it was easy to navigate. I also liked that I could pay with Apple Pay, so I didn't even have to take my credit card out. The food came out quickly and my Egg McMuffin was warm and the hashbrowns were hot and crispy. No complaints here. The bathrooms were also clean and better than most fast-food bathrooms, with 3 stalls in the women's bathroom. I'd come back here again on the way to Yosemite if I wanted breakfast. read more

I came on a Sunday morning for breakfast. I went through the drive thru. Food was hot and what I expected. I had to wait at the third window for a few minutes for the rest of my food. I think there was miscommunication with the employees on getting me my whole order. I had to wait a few extra minutes than I should have. When I got my last item (latte) the lady apologized profusely for it taking so long. She was an older lady I wish I looked at her name tag. She was so sweet and even offered me something for the wait. I declined and said thank you though. The fact that she apologized is what mattered most. I have been in plenty of situations where a server doesn't acknowledge there wrong. All I need is an apology and we're good. This could have been a negative review but because she apologized it's now a positive review. It's nice to know this McDonald's has employees that have good customer service skills. read more

This McDonalds location follows all covid protocols and the staff is overall very respectful. Definitely one of the better McDonald's.

As she started eating I heard crunches from the back seat and I had known that there was no bacon or anything of that sort. We pulled over to look and low and behold there where eggshells everywhere! McDonald's tastes amazing after hiking Half Dome. In fact, this was the best McD meal I've ever had! We finished hiking at Yosemite pretty late, started driving back to the bay before stopping for food here. $1 menu all the way! There are no surprises on this franchise's menu, but I never tasted 50 cent apple pies that were so good. I'm not sure I will stop by again on the way back from Yosemite, but this experience was fun. Nice stop over point if you're driving back from Yoesemite. They have a good amount of parking available and have a drive thru as well. Service was super quick and since they had many counters open we were in and add out of there within 5 minutes. They have automated machines too which you can use to place your order. read more

Last time I was at McDonald's. I get all the way home only to find out they got my order wrong. I ordered 2 quarter pounders and a fry and I get 2 fries and 1 quarterpounder. I know my bad for not checking the bag.. so, I call back and talked to someone I think the manager and she advises that I need to bring back all the food in order to get my order. I have no issue with taking back the food that's not mine, but really with Covid, just how sanitary was taking back that bag of food into their restaurant? So tonight, I order again 2 quarter pounders and a large fry. I get to the window and they hand me a happy meal Really... and the manager some man was so flipping rude, like it was my fault they got my order wrong AGAIN!!! When he hands me the bag the order is right AMAZING!! But the fries are cold and stale. How can that be, they haven't even left the restaurant? Unless my order was sitting somewhere. I was so pissed. He definitely needs to have more training in customer service or better yet just stay in the kitchen somewhere else. read more

Worst Mcdonalds ever. I have eaten here for the last 1 and half years. Its garbage. Orders are constantly wrong. My car seems to have been identified as the next window car cuz i always have to wait at the second window. Tonight for example, i ordered my food at 7:19 and waited at the window until 7:39. Only to have items still missing. I was going to complain to the manager, but its pointless. I have complained before and got nothing but excuses. Never been offered a discount or an extra item ever. I have had my name in their book at least 8 times for missing items. The store is usually dirty and employees just stand around. I normally drive to riverbank to go to mcdonalds. You should too.
