Not often do I encounter employees who go out of the way to provide extra assistance, especially when the line is pretty much out the door. This McDonald's exceeded my expectations. BEWARE! grumpy gal at the window said it was cash b/c their registers were down. It was about 2am on Saturday night & we orderd and she took our $5....never re-opened window to give us food. after 10 minutes we drove off. they ripped us off $5. not a lot but seriously?!? went across to Taco Bell and they were super friendly and actually gave us our food. read more

This store is by far the worse I have ever been to. It never fails that anytime you decide to stop and get a shake or cone or sundae they always say their machine is down. What's the deal with fast food these days? Sure, it's not the most healthy but service is awful. No pride in promoting quality product. I pulled in to this Ooltewah McDonalds location this AM. The drive thru was backed up a little and I was in a hurry so I decided I would go in. It was 6:35 AM and their sign on the door says Dining Room Hours: 6:00. This is by far the worst McDonald's I have been to in my life. I'm charitable towards restaurants because I believe one bad trip doesn't mean a bad business. However I have just moved out here and made 10+ trips to this location. Every single time I gave them my business, it was dominated by incredibly long waits, while it has been understaffed, and they have screwed up the order to the point it is almost comical... Literally the WORST McDonals I've ever been too. The inside isn't the problem at all... the drive through took 30 minutes!!!! 20 minutes of that I was actually at the pick up windows. NO ONE came to the window until they finally gave me my food at the 20'min mark and if I hadn't already paid I would have left. I got no explanation to why it took so long or any sort of apology. As someone who has only worked in customer service my whole life I am EXTREMELY upset at this particular store. I understand it is McDonalds so maybe I shouldn't expect much but goodness, have a little standard when hiring employees.! read more

Horrible service, employees have bad attitudes, slow, food that wasn't fresh, used very selective vocabulary with one another in front of customers. Dirty everywhere nothing is clean, especially bathrooms and playland. Also knew I was in the wrong place when employee pulled out a vape and smoked it. Disgusted. Will not ever go back. read more

This place is always NASTY! Flies everywhere (including the restroom), drink machine and counter dirty, floors look like they haven't been swept in weeks. Never any ketchup in the pump machine. Not many tables and chairs now - there used to be. When I left, a girl was half-heartedly swiping some glass cleaner on the door. We would have been better served if she had cleaned the self-serve counter or swept trash out of the floor. Obviously, the owners don't care to make improvements, because nothing here is ever improved! read more

Once along time ago, I worked at this location. The last time I got a Big Mac, it had so many dehydrated onions on it that I could not taste anything else. I advised the crew trainer and was offered a new sandwich, but after that, I couldn't eat. I am usually one to give one more chance...Not after tonight! The Big Mac was sloppy and had way too much lettuce on it. I had to open it up to make sure it had meat on it and the lettuce was soggy and tasted like.....I would say that you need to get back to basics training. The food is typical here, but the staff is HORRIBLE! Every time I go here they have an attitude. The last time I went, the guy running the drive through asked if he could take my order, and I said, "Okay, just one second..." There was no line, it was late at night, but he actually said, "Ma'am, we are cleaning the floors in an hour, so please hurry up with your order. I don't have time for you to decide." Service is SERIOUSLY SLOW but the food was good. They had lunch menu on the board during breakfast when asked about the menu cashier said oh well is been like that. I ordered the usual. They finally flipped the menus to breakfast at while we were leaving. Tables were kinda clean. My husband and I had just picked up groceries but we were STARVING. So we decided to grab a quick snack before heading home. We arrived at approximately 6:15 on a Friday. The lobby was empty except for a couple already seated and a lady in front of us ordering. However, the lobby looked like it hadn't been cleaned since Tuesday. We proceed to place our order of nuggets, fries, filet of fish, and a big mac because my husband is a bottomless pit. The cashier who took our order was obviously on something. Eyes unfocused, glazed, and half open...we proceeded to watch them take a bigmac, and nuggets and place them on a tray to the side. During the 15 minutes it took them to make the filet of fish and fries, I counted the manager swat 6 flies away from our food that was already on the cold tray on the cold counter....we open the food, and as expected, the Nuggets and bigmac were cold. The bread was even hard on the bigmac. The "fresh" filet looked like it had been assembled by a 3 year old throwing a fit, as did the cold, hard-bunned big mac. When we complained to the manager she didn't offer to do anything about it so we asked for a refund. To be honest I wouldn't have eaten the food if she had remade it I was so disgusted with the whole visit. If you want my advice, EAT ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. read more
