Hi, we returned to Tables to find out if anything had changed. I had a western omelette, another person had an egg sandwich, and the 3rd had an egg Benedict with veggies and avacado. We all raved about the food. Spent a little time with Tara wishing he luck and good health. I will definitely will return. The atmosphere was the same as it was before. Decent food, poor service. We were seated right away, but it took a while for a waitress to take our order. Then it took a long while to actually get our food. The meal I received (Eggs Benedict Florentine, a regular menu item) was not what I ordered (Tara's Benedict, on the specials menu), but by then I was so hungry that I just ate it. It was good. However, after a runner delivered our food, our waitress never checked in with us, or even made eye contact with us, until we were done eating. When she finally came, I told her (politely) that I had ordered Tara's Benedict but had received Florentine. She seemed to not know what to do with this information - but she did want me to know that she correctly submitted my order. Okay, I said, I just wanted to let you know that there was a miscommunication somewhere. She brought us our bill promptly (the incorrect meal was not taken off the bill), but then there was more waiting for her to come back and take our credit card. Finally my dining companion went up to the register to pay the bill. While there, they tried to explain to him what happened - apparently the chef had a different specials list than the specials menu that was given to customers. This does not really explain the mix-up. Plus, it was 11am on a Saturday - near the end of the breakfast period. How did they not realize sooner that the chef and the wait staff had different specials menus? This establishment is a little off the beaten path; you have to make it a destination - something I will not be doing again. read more

FanTAStic food!! All home-made, fresh, and delicious. Great service, very friendly and informative. When I complimented the wonderful biscuits in my eggs benny, our server told the chef/owner who came out and was so pleased that I liked it that much. Great menu. Don't go! There was only one waitress working the entire restaurant. We were seated right away but waited 15 minutes before we were even offered coffee. The French toast was average as they used regular packaged white bread, not thick sliced. The bacon was undercooked and rubbery. I had to get my own water at the waitress station because our waitress forgot to bring them after 30 minutes. We waited another 12 minutes for the check after we requested it. After we paid, another patron got up and said to the waitress, "Miss, please cancel my order. I'm leaving. I've been waiting forever." The waitress was doing the best she could alone so we did give her a good tip, but we will NEVER go back there again. read more

The view out of the back windows is impressive. However, it's not enough to put up with cramped seating, slow service and noise. The food, once you get it, is almost worth putting up with the apparently disorganized operation. I'm not very motivated to stop in again...unless the parking lot is nearly empty! read more

Horrible service. They were out of most things on the menu and didn't even apologize. The food we did get was awful. The coffee was so bitter. You couldn't even drink it and they refuse to take it off of the bill. Will never return. read more

It was Mother's Day in fairness however, The wait was 1 hr and 10 min after being told it would be 35 minute. Subsequently took 45-50 minutes after we ordered to receive food. No one came by to apologize for The long wait. Omelette was good and toast very good. Homemade hash was fine. read more

Today my wife and I were checking out some local tag sales and wanted to get a bite of brunch. It's been awhile since I have eaten at Tables at the Farm. They have always been consistently good eats for a reasonable price. The place is the perfect place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Seating is comfortable and the place is clean. My wife ordered the hash & eggs. Tables make their own corned beef hash which is AMAZING! She ordered it with white toast, on their own bread, yum. I had their Irish Eggs Benedict which replaces the English muffin with cornbread and the Canadian bacon with corned beef hash. We both ordered our home fries deep fried. I also ordered a single pancake with apples and cinnamon. Our food was delivered hot and fresh. The pancake was huge, fluffy and flavorful. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs was delicious, rich, and full of flavor. The cornbread was moist and made perfect base to the rest of the dish. We ended up having to get to go boxes because there was so much food, enough to have another breakfast tomorrow morning. read more

Expect to pay a little more but it's worth it - and chances are you'll be boxing enough to take home for a quick heat-up meal. Lots of new specials often on the menu. Even something simple like scrambled eggs or pancakes are worth the wait - both to get a table and sometimes for your order (but that's to be expected for a very popular restaurant in a smallish town where it's all fresh and personally crafted and they serve a lot locally-sourced food). Well, This place had such great potential. Cool farmhouse / home style eatery. Came here mid morning on a Sunday and a short wait in a larger wait area with plenty of seating while you wait. Seated and waited on fairly quick. Plenty of breakfast options and a cozy feel to the place. Orders came out fast enough. And for the most part the food was good. We had eggs (lumberjack , pancakes etc...) The flaws this place had was they seemed to skimp on the stuff that makes it memorable. Orange juice tasted like the lowest quality generic brand you could buy at local supermarket. The pancake syrup was also the most tasteless I think I have ever had. Might as well just poured straight corn syrup on them. Overall the pancakes were very large and fluffy. The toast were those big large thick country style slices and the breakfast sausages were phenomenal. Bacon was limp and soggy and not very tasty. Eggs were cooked perfectly home fries also were tasty but soggy heap of mess. Just a few things like a quality syrup and a decent OJ could have made the meal memorable. The wait staff seemed like they could have used just one more as I never got nor was I offered a refill on coffee (which is too bad as it was excellent) I want to give it better marks but it just want there. Really great everything!!! The service was helpful and someone was always refilling our coffees if we wanted more. I drink decaf and they brewed a new pot when I ordered it. Came in with a party of 5. Hostess told us they would seat us as soon as they could. Waited 1/2 hour for the hostess to come out and let us know that they were going to be skipping over us as they didn't have a table. we stopped in today (first time); the waiting area was packed (probably better than a half-hour wait). Sat at the counter since it was open. Waitress was very friendly, offered coffee right away, however we waited almost 15 minutes before ordering (yes it was packed...but...) then an older gent sat next to us at the counter, (a regular customer from what we gathered), ordered, and was served his breakfast within 15 minutes. we waited another 15 minutes or so for ours, had to wait on the pancake, and while the food was decent, most of it was lukewarm. Hash was very mushy (way too many potatoes for homemade). Pancake was doughy in the middle not cooked through. Eggs, toast were ok but only warm. Homefries while made on the grill, had way too much seasoning, to the point when I got home I had to brush my teeth to get rid of the taste. It wouldn't have been worth complaining since they were obviously slammed and shorthanded (only saw 4 waitresses/waiters)...we won't be back, there are other places in the area to go out to eat. read more

We eat here every Saturday for breakfast. No matter what the service is awesome, the waitstaff is incredible and the food quality is terrific. The servers are incredibly attentive to our needs without hovering and go the extra meal to make the experience great every week. It's busy (rightfully so since the food is so good) so plan on a little wait before you are seated but it is well worth the wait!! read more

Worst experience- staff was rude and non friendly. Would not recommend as we left 25 minutes after arriving due to poor service. We had a reservation and no table for our large party. Supervisor told my mother that reservations were not always upheld. So why take a reservation to begin with? Moving forward Angels is our breakfast place of choice read more

We had Tables cater a brunch, the day after my sons wedding. It was fabulous! Tara took care of everything. There was so much delicious food and our guests were very happy. Food was fine. Took over 50 minutes for my fiancés food and I to come in. I understand that sometimes things are slow and may take time, but we were not checked up on ONCE during the entire visit, except at the end to be given the check. I had one cup of water, that was empty before my food arrived, and was never given a refill. I didn't think too much of this because I figured they were busy-but the waitress asked how every table was doing besides mine! I felt forgotten! Terrible service.
