We went around 8. Were seated right away. Crowded on a Thursday.( always a good sign) portions very large. Nothing fancy but still good.

Irish Eggs Benedict with Home Fries.

Today my wife and I were checking out some local tag sales and wanted to get a bite of brunch. It's been awhile since I have eaten at Tables at the Farm. They have always been consistently good eats for a reasonable price. The place is the perfect place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Seating is comfortable and the place is clean. My wife ordered the hash & eggs. Tables make their own corned beef hash which is AMAZING! She ordered it with white toast, on their own bread, yum. I had their Irish Eggs Benedict which replaces the English muffin with cornbread and the Canadian bacon with corned beef hash. We both ordered our home fries deep fried. I also ordered a single pancake with apples and cinnamon. Our food was delivered hot and fresh. The pancake was huge, fluffy and flavorful. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs was delicious, rich, and full of flavor. The cornbread was moist and made perfect base to the rest of the dish. We ended up having to get to go boxes because there was so much food, enough to have another breakfast tomorrow morning.

Fresh, homemade everything, from the sausage gravy to the eggs Benedict over corned beef, to delicious flavors of coffees and hearty muffins, this place is always packed with locals, as it should be! With everything as delicious as it is, and the friendliest service around, I'd come here every day if I could too!

I got the St Patrick's Day special bangers and mashed . Came with 2 eggs , and toast . Everything was great . My only complaint was the mashed weren't that hot . Maybe it sat a little before it was served ? Besides that , YUM ! My Daughter got the French toast with cream cheese and fresh blueberry's on top , she loved it . Good job !

Had to grab myself some dessert and couldn't decide on red velvet or carrot so got both and took the carrot home for later. Both were good in their own way. Nothing to complain about. I will start talking about Figlio by saying my first experience was at a political fundraiser. So the food was buffet style...not the regular service or menu. BUT the food was on another level. This was authentic Italian food at its best. The Chef Bob is retired and Figlio is his retirement!! This is a family run establishment. Bob's niece, Kristin, is the front of the house with her daughter. They are open Wed. through Sunday. On Friday and Saturday they do a prix fixe for $60. The menu changes all the time. They do Sunday Sauce on Sunday, oddly enough. Once again the food I had was out of this world. I will be back to experience the various iterations of the food and will report back. Locked in at the bar and it took me a minute to figure out what I wanted to eat but ultimately decided to go with penne meatballs and a cup of the Soup. Everything is homemade so when the soup came out and looked at me in the face I knew it was going to be absolutely delicious, and it was. Almost through pepper in it but didn't need it. Didn't even want crackers either. I spooned every last drop I could get of broth. The penne with meatballs came out hot! A very full bowl definitely pushed me to being full. Meatballs fell apart and or spot on with taste. For dessert I went with the pistachio cake, OMG! The only place I can compare this to that's equally delicious is tease bar and pizzeria in Stanford Connecticut. Every bite was flavorful. I enjoyed the place so much I decided to get a gift card for my grandparents for being awesome grandparents. A place for a date night.

Diner car is 80ish years old so has seen plenty of people walk through its doors. One of the oldest, if not the oldest, businesses is Palmer. I use to come here often, especially in my high school / college days. Always got the blueberry pancakes, in my opinion some of the best I have sunken my teeth into. Can put plenty of butter and syrup on them and they still soak them up. Today, no different. Was in town for a haircut and was really early so stopped here for breakfast. Blueberry pancakes, sausage patties and some hash. I am really just starting to eat hash. Cannot compare to many places, I enjoyed it enough to where I ate it all before eating anything else. Pancakes just as I remembered them. Would have eaten a triple stack but those days are over. They are big and fluffy to begin with as pancakes should be. Missed this place and happy to have made it back here. Cash only still I believe so hit the atm up the road if need be and leave a nice tip.
