I wanted to have a snack from McDonald's since I'm quite hungry. I remember this place being here for a while in Stanford Shopping Center when I was a kid until it relocated to a different area but in the same shopping mall. I got 10pc chicken nuggets, but I'm quite shocked how much it is. $7.29 for that much is way crazier compared to 20pc, which is just 70¢ more expensive. Honestly, that is a way better choice, but I'm just trying to cut back calories for now. Honestly, 10pc shouldn't cost more than $6. I also saw prices of the burgers and some are cheaper than what I got. Either that chicken nuggets is very popular or they're being inconsistent with prices. Not sure why this place gets such bad reviews. It's a convenient location at Stanford shopping mall right across from the parking structure. It is a bit small which can make it feel crowded during busy times, but there is also outside seating. Food is fast food as expected. Staff are efficient. read more

I've been coming here for years and this 3 star review is just for our latest experience in which we ordered a large, medium and small fries with our iced coffees. Fries did not taste like they normally due and am not sure as to the reason other than they were sitting awhile after being pulled from the fryer. 1. Google maps and Yelp lists that this place closes at 9 and it closes at 7. The hours on the doors were physically scratched out so there was no way of knowing what time they actually closed. 2. The mobile app allows you to order and charges you even when the location is closed 3. We were charged for our meal in the app, got there right at 7:00 and the doors were locked. When we asked about the order the manager said to contact customer service so we did not receive any food, nor were we refunded. We were told to come back another time to talk to the owner. 4. Very rude. They were somewhat busy when i went in around 7. I only ordered a soda and a caramel sundae with EXTRA caramel (paid extra for extra caramel) and they couldn't bother to put hardly any caramel in it. So what happened was... I got a sour look and poor treatment when I ordered at the counter with the mobile app coupon. I've been here before and got great service and yesterday the only difference was I had time to open my app, find the free fry coupon, and used it. It irritated me enough to take a pic at the time and share it with my friends. And irritated me still when I got to work this morning a 1/2 hour early so I'm posting a pic on the app. I guess all humans have good days and bad days... I just don't need to be treated poorly when someone serving food has a bad day. A serving size is a serving size. On the bright side: My drink was cold and tasted good, fries were hot and tasty... and the ice cream was good once I put 2 cones in one cup for a full+ cup! read more

The food is fine for McDonalds. The burger quality has actually improved, though McDonald's is my least favorite burger place. The problem I have with this particular store is the poor management and poor customer service. The restaurant's bathrooms have been out of service for awhile. When I ask where I can go to use the bathroom they have no answer. Then the cashier looks at me strangely - as though there is something wrong with me when I suggest to her that they should at least be able to inform paying customers where they can use the bathroom. There's something about holding a McDonalds ice cream cone that gets you all nostalgic about your childhood. Sure, it might be disgusting in liquified shelf stable form, but I do love me a McDonalds cone! I just wish it was still $0.99 and not a $1.09. Also the ice cream artist who swirled my cone did an interesting job. It was like the leaning tower of ice cream! I title the piece (in photos) "The Sideways Swirl". This McDonalds is small but albeit classy! We are in the beginning of March and they already have their green St Patrick's Day decor up. There were green streamers hung about the lamp shades and shamrock decorations all over. The walls have wood paneling all over too. Soops classy! Pinkies up! I haven't experienced this sauce stingeyness that people complain about.... Whenever I get my Nuggets here they always gift me with at least two sauces. Great McDonald's, they have the self-service kiosk where you can order your meal from a large menu touch screen. They were also very prompt with the service and the French fries were on POINT! They didn't start frying the French fries until you ordered them so they came out tasting fantastic! It was also very clean and the bathrooms are checked and maintained every 30 minutes. Since I'm a huge nerd I love how this place has the self service kiosk and I'd come back every time when I'm around the area! read more

What can I say about this that hasn't already been said? There's a good reason McDonalds has been in business forever. My husband was super hungry and practically begged me to get his favorite thing there ... a mean number whatever, the one with "filet o fish sandwich plus French fries." We got it to go and because they're in a mall, we had to walk in r rather than drive through. They're like any other location: sterile clean and colorful, uncomfortable seating and all hard surfaces. But boy of boy are all of these people who work here, they are totally on the ball and hard working, really efficient and I think fire the way they bust their butts, they deserve to be paid more. The quality of food is always consistent, which is partly the draw--you always know what you're getting. The prices are always predictable and also could not be lower. The quality is what it is and what you'd expect from a fast food place. Though I'm not a fan of McDonalds stuff, e.g. their fries are too thin and the burgers I are back in high school ... it did hit the spot fire my husband today. Parking is free and plentiful in the Stanford mall and they do have some tables outside to sit and eat. read more
