Went walking with my family and then we got hungry, so we were walking around trying to look for a place to eat. We stumbled upon this indoor food hall eatery with outside seats as well. It was a nice day not to hot not too cold. The food was absolutely delicious for a great price point. The service was pretty decent. Very nice employees. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food hall was clean and well kept.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely come back to check out other foods around.

Finally had a chance to try this burger place in a food mall in Los Altos. We ordered the signature Konjoe burger and the hot chicken burger. The konjoe burger was delicious with grilled onions , red slight spicy peppers and an over easy egg on top. It's too messy to hold so I ate it with a knife and fork. My fiancee ordered the spicy chicken burger. Chicken was nice a crispy, plenty of spice, lots of pickles, and the potato bun was toasted but soft and tasty. Overall great place for burgers!

Very tasty truffle burger offered as a combo with fries and soda in this fun food hall! You can order at the counter and take your number to a table inside the hall. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a pretty lively spot with nice lighting and a photobooth in the corner of the hall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is a high quality burger spot. I really enjoyed the garlic fries and would highly recommend the konjoe burger which was delicious.

Food is quite good, though on the expensive side. I had the 1/3 pound Konjoe and the chopped cheese fries. The burger was good and really messy. It's somewhat uncommon but welcome addition to have a fried egg on a burger. (Reminds me of Fatburger on L.A.) The chopped cheese fries were over the top! Not only did they have cheese, pickes, and sauce, but they had meat too! It could have been a meal by itself.

I approve as a burger lover. I'm glad that KonJoe is still around as my closest place to grab a bite at their Santa Clara location. I ordered the OG burger with fries. 5/5. Delicious Smash burger on a soft potato bun with melted American cheddar cheese. The burger itself was delicious and a little crispy on the edges. Fries are seasoned well. It comes with pickles btw. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This food hall is located in a State Street Market. Lots of seating and tables and there's a bar from across where you can grab a beer while you wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The State Street Food Hall is a can't miss in Los Altos. We went for The Good Salad, but also couldn't leave without trying a chicken sandwich and their loaded fries. The truffle mayo is worth the up charge if you like truffles. We ordered online from the table we posted up at. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment is chill but buzzin at the same time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The fries were smothered but still crispy. The sandwich was so tasty. I definitely want to try more.

Mochiko Chicken $14

Being a spicy fried chicken fan, I was all over Konjoe! Truffle Hot Chicken Sandwich replace with lettuce wrap $19.50 -- double fried chicken, not that spicy. A good amount of truffle and I really liked the pickled cabbage. But it wasn't amazing and I've definitely had better. Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich $14.50 -- again with the double fried chicken, very similar to the hot truffle. I doubt they marinate their chicken overnight because the flavor just wasn't there. Mochiko Chicken $14 -- here's where things went wrong. Originally we said mochiko chicken but then we corrected the order and said no mochiko chicken and we wanted fries instead. The guy was distracted because his coworker was talking to him for a second. He didn't double our order and we assumed he got it. Then once we got our order, we see we got mochiko chicken and no fries. The guy said that's what we ordered. I wasn't going to make a big fuss about it but I think it's always best practice for the person taking the order to REPEAT the order just to double check that everything is right. In any case, the mochiko chicken is basically like a cross between popcorn chicken and chicken tenders. It came with spicy mayo. Again double fried with a lot of batter. The chicken itself wasn't all that flavorful or juicy. Overall I would give this 2 out of 5, as I expected more judging from other reviews. I've had a lot of fried chicken and Konjoe misses the mark

This was our second time to Konjoe but first time at the Los Altos location. I liked it better than the last time. It was pretty meaty with 2 patties and the Sonoma pickles were so good. The fries stayed crispy despite all the toppings and again, more pickles! OG Burger $18.00 creamco grassfed beef patty x 2 - toasted potato roll - american cheese - grilled onions - sonoma brinery pickles - konjoe sauce Smokehouse Burger $18.00 creamco grassfed beef patty x 2 - american cheese - toasted potato roll - candied jalapenos - maple bacon - onions - hoisin bbq sauce - chili pepper mayo Chopped Cheese Fries $10 konjoe's house seasoning - grilled onions - american cheese - chopped grassfed beef - pickles - konjoe sauce

It's pretty nice for a night out with friends/family or a date night. I had never been to this restaurant so I was expecting typical basic American food. BOY was I wrong. Eureka! Is anything but typical. I was amazed by the selection of food and drinks they had. I ended up going with the Wagyu Bone Marrow Burger with the Truffle Cheese Fries and Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts. I am definitely a texture person, so I thought that the burger would be too soft for my liking but I decided to try it anyway. Wow. Let me tell you, that burger was the juiciest burger I have EVER had in my life. I tried my best to finish it all but it was honestly too much and I had to sadly leave some behind. The fries were nothing too crazy to rave about. Yes they tasted like truffle but I wish they would of been tossed in truffle oil and had the cheese sauce on it. It needed more truffle for my liking. The Brussels sprouts. Let me tell you, they were the only thing to fully be devoured from my order at the end of my meal. They were perfectly balanced in every way: charred/crispy, salty, savory. Wow. Just wow. I would go back just for those alone. I did order a whiskey sour which was super deliciously creamy. My server was super sweet and gave great ideas for how to customize my burger a bit the next time I come back. Overall my first experience with Eureka! Was definitely a memorable one so I will definitely be back.

After a while, more guests started eating but overall there is a lot of space, so I wouldn't worry about not finding a table. After ordering, we waited for our food for 15 minutes. We ordered 2 Macho Crispy Chicken Sandwiches and Curly Fries. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, but the portion was small. The sandwiches were on the pricey side, compared to sandwiches you can find at chains. We ate the curly fries to complement our sandwiches. The fries were crispy and comparable to those at Jack in the Box. To conclude, I would probably come here again because I like the texture and taste of crispy chicken sandwiches. I would recommend this spot to foodies looking for an Asian-flavored burger spot.

The fried chicken sandwich itself was pretty great, you have to love breading because the breading is very very heavy, but the meat itself was just as juicy. Very very fair pricing for such a huge burger and in a very nice location as well. The tender beef wrap was not so great at all, the beef was far from tender and more chewy than anything. The sauce and the wrapper itself did not really go together. It felt like two cultures trying to mix and nothing really worked out here.

TLDR: Excellent Fried Chicken!…read more I was just chatting with my friend about picking up Chik-Fil-A for dinner one night, and he suggested Chicken G. There's one in Fremont, but also on in Mountain View, which isn't too far from me. So on a different night, I decided to give this place a try. Short answer: it's REALLY good! Long answer: It's a very very small place. It's got that 80's vibe to it... it's like Falafel Drive-In but with chicken! The staff was nice... although it seemed like there was only 1 front-of-the-house ( I couldn't see in the back). And he was doing EVERYTHING... preparing the food, packaging it up, taking orders.... And it wasn't like the place was super busy at 7:30p on a Thursday. In fact, no one was in front of me, but I still had to wait 5 minutes or so for him to take my order. But finally the order was fired up, and he immediately told me it will take about 15 minutes, because everything is made fresh. Nice! I kinda lost track doom-scrolling, so I peeked my head up every once in a while. I guess he thought I was being impatient, but he assured me, 5 more minutes... Eventually, he called me over, and I took the thing home. Keep in mind, with traffic... it took about 30 min to get home. So the food was getting a little cool. But it was still VERY crunchy, and tasty. My wife immediately took a bite and said it was SO GOOD. She had the 2 tenders and a side (french fries), while I had the chicken burger. The burger was HUUUUGE. I yielded and got a knife to cut the thing in half so I could eat it properly. Even though it was 30 min... the chicken was still super crispy and had a nice satisfying crunch. It blew CFA out of the water, tbh. Tho I still love CFA! Anyway, this place is really really good. It does 1 thing and does it super well. I'd like to try it again, but eat it there fresh and see if that makes a difference. As it stands, I'm struggling to think of a place better than this.

Went to Nokori to check it out end of last year, was impressed, but somehow keep forgetting to post…read morethe review. It was featured on KQED local station as an elegant late night hotel bar with izakaya style bites. Nokori is an elegant modern Japanese whisky bar nested inside the modern chic Sunnyvale TETRA Hotel (a stylish boutique hotel, right next to Marriott's AC). It opens late into midnight at times. A signature drink is the Japanese whisky highball. It offers well selected whiskey, and cocktails with shoju with Japanese / Asian inspired flavors. This place has great Japanese-style impeccable attention to details: crystal clear Japanese style ice , extra sparkling fizz for the high balls. Even the non-alcoholic highball is dozed with extra sparkling fizz. We enjoyed it. This location is in the heart of Silicon Valley among Google Cloud buildings and famous tech companies. The customers range from hotel goers, tech workers, Googlers, Bay Area startup people discussing IPOs (overheard during our visit) and apparently food writers (from KQED). It way exceeds the standard of a Marriott hotel bar, and is worth a dedicated visit. Park at the parking garage opposite side of the hotel, shares the same parking structure. It offers izakaya style menu, serves small bites, tapas / dishes in the style of Japanese drinking bars. There is a limit number of intimate counter spaces at the bar, but plenty of tables further away from the bar, a spanning view of the lobby and its modern designs. There's also a glass window view of the garden pathway (the winter Christmas decoration was visible from the window was quite pretty). The bar specializes in fancy Japanese whiskeys and highball cocktails, flavored with modern craft cocktail choices and some Japanese inspired choices - shiso, cucumber. We tried Torched Hokkaido Scallops,  Nokori Chicken Karaage, Chowa Highball, Far East Side, Marsuret Brut. All pretty good. The cocktails are strong.  A highball cocktail is basically whisky / shoju, soda water and ice. It is notable they have a soda pump (dispenser) so the bubbles (extra fizzy) are strong (great) and the ice is crystal clear - Japanese cocktail style beautiful, clear ice, melts slowly, tastes good. KQED explains that a highball is made of Japanese whisky soda water and ice. I have noticed the soda was extra extra fizzy and indeed KQED explains that it installed special Japanese soda dispensers. Even when I didn't know, I thought the drinks were excellently fizzy - for someone who likes sparkling water and fizzy drinks, it was immediately notable! And the ice is crystal clear Japanese style cocktail ice. This highball experience is impressive. We ordered the scallops, delicious, the sauce was miso but a bit too salty. The famous chicken karaage fried chicken is golden, light, crispy, needed a bit more seasoning, but it's hard to find good chicken kaarage that's not oily these days so I can definitely see why the food writers liked it. Overall the menu is worth a try. Love the design, ambience, the modern interiors, beautiful selection of whiskeys, reminds me a lot of Tokyo. They carry a good, high end selection of Japanese whiskeys, though I don't know much about it, I can see there are various vintages present, and some of them with a good age / vintage. There are also wines available, and sparkling by the glass. The non alcoholic options are also sophisticated
