I'd been wanting to check out Fambrini's Cafe for years, but always got scared away by the line out the door. So glad we finally braved it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was plenty of seating on the (dog friendly) patio, and the line to order food moved pretty quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I chose the Iced Rose Latte and Brie and Mushroom Omelette, and my partner got the Dirty Chai Latte and Fambrini's Breakfast. We also got an order of the O La La Buttermilk Pancakes to share. Both coffee drinks were excellent - strong and flavorful. We definitely ordered way too much food, but it was delicious! My omelette was basic but tasty, and the pancakes were insane. We skipped the cotton candy topping, but the lemon-custard cream and homemade whipped cream were incredible. Service was quick and seamless. Would definitely return for more!
This place is awesome! There was quite a line when we arrived around 10:30am on Saturday, but it moved decently fast (~15-20 mins) and then the food arrived pretty quickly after we sat down at a table as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a beautiful outdoor area in the back with tons of tables. Even though it was super busy, we still had our choice of a few tables, and the foliage/patio umbrellas make it nice and shady.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our food was also delicious! We got: Prosciutto and egg sandwich - eggs were super light and fluffy, and the sandwich was well balanced and cheesy too! Fat and fluffy French toast - such a generous portion and the berries and whipped cream were so yummy! The toast itself had crispy edges and was super fluffy! They have such a large menu too and I'll definitely be back to try more!
Food: The food here was definitely decent in both portion size and flavor, and the presentation had a clean look. While nothing completely wowed me, everything was still enjoyable. Some menu items felt a bit overpriced, while others were more reasonably priced. Overall, I'm not sure it's fully worth the price point, but it's definitely not bad either. Smoked Salmon Toast (8.5/10) - This dish had a lot of layers of flavor, and the egg was cooked perfectly with a runny yolk. I loved the variety of veggies that came with it, and the portion size was satisfying. The plating was also very nicely done. You can choose either potatoes or salad on the side. Tiramisu Crepe Cake (8/10) - Not overly sweet, which I liked. The cocoa powder balanced the sweetness nicely, making it more enjoyable. It was creamy without feeling too heavy or too much. Service: The setup here is more casual and self-service. You wait in line at the front to order and pay first, then grab your own utensils and napkins before finding a table. Once seated, they bring the food out to you using your table number. Overall, the service was decent. Ambiance: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was very lively and packed, so it can get pretty loud with how many people are there talking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a lot of outdoor seating, but there was still a line out the door when we arrived.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself is large, spacious, and has a nice atmosphere overall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
We had the most AMAZING breakfast here at Fambrini's. We were in town after staying in town for a concert and stopped in for breakfast before hitting the road back home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Mid week brunch meant a quieter atmosphere and open seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After perusing the menu we ordered at the counter before sitting at a table after picking up utensils and water. We ordered Fambrini's Breakfast, Brie & Mushroom Omelette, Crab Omelette, and shares the Lotus Biscoff Pancakes. Everyone loved their egg platters. The eggs were perfectly light and fluffy. I generally avoid omelettes getting scrambles instead because restaurants tend to overcook the eggs. Our dishes were prepared with quality and flavor in mind. I personally had the crab omelette and left no crumbs behind. The potatoes were well seasoned and wish I had enough room in my tummy to finish them off! The drip coffee was bold and delicious not watered down at all! Finally, we shared the 2 stack biscoff pancakes for a sweet finish. The pancakes were bouncy with biscoff sauce and a mound of whipped cream. This was mouth wateringly delicious. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but this was so yummy. This isn't a traditional sit down service but counter staff were friendly and efficient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a small parking lot off to the side and there is indoor and patio seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Come by for a meal and you won't be disappointed! I wish I lived closer so I could taste the rest of their meal. Kudos and thanks for an awesome meal!
Fambrini's is a really solid breakfast place!! They have a pretty large menu ranging from sweet to savory and they do it all well. Our Food: We ordered the french toast and Biscoff Pancakes as our sweets. Both were fluffy and perfectly sweet. We also ordered the Monte Cristo and Chicken Pesto Sandwich. The Monte Cristo was okay, but the Chicken Pesto outshined it. The ciabatta bread is housemade and you can tell! Its perfectly soft and pairs super well with the garlic aoili and pesto sauce. The dalgona coffee looks amazing but is only okay, I'd maybe try something else. It is definitely Cafe style, where you order and pay at the counter first. They usually help you find seating (which is all outdoors) and bring out the food. From there everything is self-serve, whether that's for utensils or simply getting water. The food is delivered very quickly, but not super hot. Overall, I think its good food, and worth the visit if you're in the area.

You also need to get your own water & utensils, but the waiters serve you the food & drinks (of course). It doesn't take too long for the food to be ready. I can attest to the quality of the sweet items. Both the Lotus Biscoff Pancakes and Waffle Tower were delicious, filling, & diverse. Every component, down to the whipped cream and syrup, comes together so well. The Peppermint White Mocha was just as satisfying, and I normally don't care much for white chocolate. The prices are what I expect for this kind of restaurant - not cheap but you get what you pay for.

You line up and place your order at the front, after you can grab your napkins/water/utensils before heading to your table. Ordered Fambrini's breakfast and enjoyed it, the scrambled eggs were fluffy and potatoes were very flavorful. I liked the sourdough but do wish it had been toasted. Would come again and try other dishes.
The surf and turf sandwich was so delicious!! I loved how the beef was sliced thin and the shrimp was jumbo and juicy! The sauces delicious and the ciabatta was perfectly toasted and buttered. We went on a weekday and luckily had no line. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outdoor and indoor seating. Nice vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
I can't believe it took me so long to try this spot. Such a gem. Probably one of my top fave brunch spots now!! The menu selection can be overwhelming but at least a lot of dishes stood out. Service was attentive and prompt. Everything is so aesthetically pleasing and the flavors were on point. I'm an egg benny girly so of course I had to order the Eggs Benedict 20.50 with Flank Steak 3.50 and Fruit Salad. Great flavors and large portions! I didn't really like the mango matcha that much. Might order something else next time. They sell Anton Patisserie crepe cakes here! I got the Hokkaido Milk Crepe Cake. So yummy! Owner is super friendly and making his rounds to talk to customers. LOVE the outdoor seating. Lots of shade and dog friendly. Will definitely be back!
I forgot what sandwich I got but I remember it was delicious and super filling. Half soup and half sub was the way to go - I wish I asked for a different bread though! My friend really liked the Dutch crunch bread with her sub that also looked great. Outdoor seating area was really cute and closed off - great place to meet friends! Staff were all nice. It's pretty busy on the weekends and self serve but the staff bring the food to you.
First time, I got the Turkey Pesto sandwich on a Dutch crunch and have been dying to go back. Any sandwich you get will be good. Second time here with my girls and decided to get the Brie and mushroom omelet. Omelet wasn't overcooked, mushroom and Brie is a great combination in an omelet, and I finished all my potato's. We shared the biscoff pancake and it was a tasty sweet treat to share. I personally prefer waffles but I kept on eating this. The inside is small but the outside is huge, shaded, and spacious. Great for big parties. You first order at the counter and then find a seat. Sometimes a server will offer to find one for you if it's busy. Utensils, water and extra plates are self serve. Their menu has something for everyone. They also have seasonal menus for drinks and food. This is my go to lunch spot. Will surely be back soon.

Service was efficient and pretty quick. Presentation is pretty. The food is great tasting but the Sicilian pistachio challa French toast with Nutella sauce and pistachio cream is very sweet. They still put some syrup on the side which is totally unnecessary. This is the only food that I think is overwhelmingly too much. I was not able to finish it. Orange matcha zest drink is okay. 3 breakfast items, 3 drinks, 2 dessert to go we are $140 down before tips. Will try other non sweet food next time. Have not tried the dessert yet, will try it when all the sweet things is out of my system.

I came here on a Saturday around noon and saw a long line so I was worried that it would a while to get seated but the line moved quickly and I was able to order in about 30 mins. You have to place your order before they give you a table to sit at, which I found be more efficient than waiting for a table. I ordered the burrata toast and had the option to switch out my salad with potatoes for $3 more. I opted to try the potatoes since my friend mentioned that they were super flavorful. My friend and I sat down close the the entrance and only waited about 10 mins for our food to come out. The pesto spread on the toast worked well with the burrata and tomato and the potatoes were in fact, super flavorful!! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area! read more
Great food, but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. When I first walked in, the cashier seemed to be rushing me to order. I explained that it was my first time there and asked what she recommended, but she completely ignored my question. That immediately made the experience feel unwelcoming. After sitting down, I was surprised to realize that everything is basically self-service. If you need forks, knives, napkins, or anything else, you have to get up and get it yourself. When i asked for them the staff looked at me and told me it's over there to grab it. II honestly feel that there should be waiters taking your order once you sit down, or at the very least, the staff should bring basic things like utensils and napkins to your table. The staff, including the cashier, should also be friendly and welcoming, especially to first-time customers. Instead, the employees seemed unhappy and disengaged, which really affected the atmosphere. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On top of that, the bathroom was not clean and clearly needed attention.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's unfortunate because the food was actually really good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fambrini's is a clean streamlined establishment that is straightforward and efficient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You walk in to be greeted by a small lobby, and a full staff working diligently to accommodate customers. You place your orders and walk to their out door patio which is a haven of umbrellas and seating. The staff is kind, our interactions were limited but I can tell they were vigilant. The biscof pancakes deserve the hype, and the omelette was sensational. But the star of the show was the tri tip sandwich. The meat was sensational, and the worst part of my meal is that it ended. I've been wanting to try this place for the outdoor ambience and aesthetic pancakes and it did not disappoint! The lotus biscoff pancakes were surprisingly not as sweet as they looked; they were delicious and the stack of 2 is perfect to share. You definitely do not need syrup on top of the sauces it comes with! The only thing that was offputting was when we ordered a mimosa, the cashier asked "are you old enough?" We both said yes, over 21. Then, she says "i don't believe you, let me see your ID" to which.. we were of course over drinking age. She should've just asked us for our ID first instead of questioning us just to not even believe us. Besides that, I would definitely come back for the pancakes and the vibe. Parking and entering were also confusing. We parked in the Fambrini's Cafe spots but I am not sure if the parking garage (?) and spots around it are ok to park as well. read more
I stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday morning. I was there right after they opened, so got a seat right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seats were outdoor, but they had nice heaters.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Egg Benedict with crab cake was my favorite item here. Lotus biscoff pancakes was an excellent sweet treat in the morning. Great spot in Palo Alto as long as you have a minute to wait in line to order. There's parking on the street and if you come at a reasonable time, perhaps you'll luck out with a spot in the back. I tried the tiramisu crepe cake which was just a little on the dry side. Loved the flavor. For breakfast one friend ordered bagels w/ Lox, me, a prosciutto & Brie sandwich, and my odd friend got a vegetarian omelette, which she thoroughly enjoyed. This place is always busy. You stand in line to order at the register, they tell you your number then you go to the back, you find your number on the table, this is where they come and find you to deliver your food. Overall, it's a decent restaurant with great brunch food! read more

This place was super cute but I think maybe I didn't order well. I was super excited to try this restaurant but i feel a little let down. The service is good, you order before sitting down and upon ordering, you grab all your silverware, napkins and sauces. For the price, I thought this was interesting but I didn't mind it at all. I ordered one of their omelettes, my boyfriend ordered their biscoff pancakes and it was good but this place had been hyped up by so many of my friends and social media that I was expecting more than just good. Their breakfast menu wasn't as interesting so I think they shine more during lunch? I'm not sure. This place for the price was okay, I want to come back and try their lunch options! Review update: My husband and I visited the cafe in person and I genuinely had so much fomo seeing everyone's else orders. I want to keep coming back and trying different items! After trying the previous sandwich, this time I got the hell and paradise and it was sooo good. I keep thinking of these sandwiches daily lol. The outdoor seating was nice but there were gnats/flies so I hope that gets taken care of somehow! I felt like the servers and employees made sure to take care of us which was really nice to see. read more
Tried Fambini's once and I'm a fan! The parking was full, so we parked where the park/fields were and had a short walk. While we did wait for 40 minutes, I can see why everyone else would wait that long as well. In the summer, it does get very hot and everyone is congregated in the shade. Super cute little cafe! The inside is on the smaller side but the plants and greenery for decoration is so pretty. The outside patio is perfect with lots of shaded seating. There's a single file line into the cafe to order at the counter but the line moves pretty quickly. Menus outside to look over while you're in line. They have all kinds of pastries & sweet treats! Along with a variety of drinks ranging from coffee, matcha and smoothies. Their menu is big and hard to choose from because everything sounds and looks good! I got the fat and fluffy French toast with a green smoothie. Everything tasted super fresh. And the wait for food is not very long. We were in and out in an hour! The single bathroom was clean. The self serve water station and to-go trays were stocked. The staff was friendly and kind. The food was hot and fresh. The only con about this place is the price. It's a bit steep for two people. Went on a Sunday around 11am and the line was about a 40 minute wait. You get in line and order at the front, then they give you a table number where you wait for your food. Our group ordered drinks at the same time but two drinks came out at the beginning and the other two came out when we were halfway through our meal... They also got part of our order wrong: I ordered a brie and bacon breakfast sandwich but they brought out a feta and mushroom omelette. It took about 25 minutes after ordering for the food to come out so I didn't want to make a big deal of it. The omelette wasn't anything special that I couldn't make at home. My boyfriend got the steak sandwich which had tender meat but lacked depth of flavor. The Lotus Biscoff pancakes were delicious though! I don't usually have a sweet tooth but I'm a big fan of biscoff and this definitely lived up to my expectations. I'd give these pancakes a 5/5. Very sweet (we didn't even use the extra side syrup). Had biscoff crumbles and yummy flavor. Overall, a cute spot to try new seasonal menu items and catch up with friends and family but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again. read more

Curated breakfast dishes, good quality ingredients with fabulous presentation. The lotus biscoff pancakes were decadent ! Service is prompt - it's self served. Prices are on a higher side, typical to Chic Palo Alto restaurants. The vibe is energetic and city-like. One downer is the fact that the tables inside are too close to each other. We came here on a Sunday morning for brunch and there was a long line going out the door. Luckily the line moves relatively quickly and we were able to order at the register and were seated outside after. There is limited indoor and most of their seating is outdoors in a shaded structure. We ordered: - Sweetheart French Toast - This was from the Valentine's day special menu and it was a bit on the sweeter, with whipped cream on top and strawberry cheesecake in between the fresh toasts, but delicious and so cute! I loved the lips shaped lollipop and the yummy giant strawberries! - Strawberry Matcha Latte - It was alright, not my favorite strawberry matcha and for the price, the quantity was a bit on the smaller side. - Shakshuka - This was my first time trying shakshuka, so I was excited to try it. It was pretty good, I wish there was more veggies in it and more pieces of bread to eat it with. Overall, I had a great time trying the food here and will definitely be back in the future to try more items from the menu! read more

Lots of breakfast options for any of your brunch cravings. I went with the classic - Fambrini's breakfast and it's a good variety of eggs, bacon, potatoes, bread and avocado. Remember to ask for the potatoes extra crispy! Everything was cooked well, the eggs were just overcooked in my opinion. Plenty of outdoor seating with heat lamps available so great for groups and bigger parties. Guess I had tried this spot back during COVID but didn't remember haha. Think I ordered the Monte Carlo + green smoothie and liked it. This time around I had the Brie sandwich, biscoff pancakes, and strawberry matcha. Feared the pancakes would of been too sweet and they were just right! Didn't even need the syrup. The Brie sandwich is yummy just fyi don't try to cut it in half. As for the matcha portion, it was literally mostly ice in the cup-worth the price? Not so much. read more

Delicious breakfast spot! The biscoff pancakes were super sweet and had the perfect biscoff taste. The portions for the pancakes was defiantly enough for 2. The breakfast sandwich was good as well. Not much to say about the service since everything is basically self serve. Cute popular brunch spot in Palo Alto with an impressive array of selections for you to choose from. We arrived 20 minutes after opening and there was already a line half a block long waiting to order. It took ~30 minutes to get through the line where you order and are verbally given a number. You then go look for the table that has the corresponding number and sit and wait for your food. Their restaurant is outdoor seating which means you can bring your pets! The food was your typical delicious brunch selections. At the counter, there's a large selection of desserts including Hokkaido crepe cake, pistachio crepe cake, etc. There was just too many options to choose from. They also had a special Halloween menu with an amazing presentation for each of the items. Food is definitely pricy but delicious and worth a try. read more

Come for: biscoff pancakes! Know that: the line gets very long, but moves quickly I came on a Sunday morning for brunch after hearing about their biscoff pancakes and was not disappointed. The line scared me at first as it went all the way up the block, but we were able to order within 10 mins. You'll then get a number and have an assigned table. The place is largely self serve with a central area that has forks, knives, napkins, etc. Waiters will bring over your food and drink when ready. I loved the Biscoff pancakes. I was concerned they would be too sweet but that was not the case. The flavor of biscoff cookies really came through. I recommend sharing the stack with others though as the thing can be pretty overwhelming. Sit outdoors on a nice day, the patio area is great. There is parking but the lot can fill up quickly. Overall, I'd definitely go back. Next time I have to try the french toast. read more
