Happy Meal... Literally as I had a must travel to Pearl City as it's usually too far for me at the moment as my car isn't feeling to great but did so right after work as Yelp got me here with routes to avoid heavy traffic was easy. Not wanting too much I decided on a Happy Meal and I don't have much pics since I used their drive thru it was so fast no cars in line which I can see why as I approached to order the staff asked if I was using their app...uuuhhh yeah! I wasn't prepared for it though I knew I wanted the discounted offer for the Happy Meal as soon as I gave it to her she confirmed it and proceeded with my order and since my card was linked to the app nothing else was needed and got my order in light speed lol! This McDonald's is conveniently located right across the street from where he was getting his procedure done. They had a new spicy sausage McMuffin with egg so I got that as the meal deal. Tasty, a little bit spicy, pretty mild for those of us who like things very spicy. It is more expensive than the regular sausage McMuffin with egg meal which is $7.99. The spicy version is $9.98. I ordered 4 double cheese burgers with extra mayo 4 mc chickens 10 pc McNugget meal and filet o fish meal at the drive through. Supposedly this place is "24 hours". I came late at night and the drive-thru was closed. I saw employees inside so I went over to the window to ask if they were open.the lady just said "don't you see the cones" and said they're closed. They don't wipe tables after people leave. No sprays around to use like other McDonald's. Also, this McDonald's mean business. Not friendly, just business. The orders in front are fairly small as well, so idk what was taking so long. I have high respect for the fast pace & constant pace of this job but waiting 20 minutes when customers are really only going through the drive-thru is ridiculous. Not to mention, the first window had no one w/ no sight saying to pay at the second. I have children, and when a rugrat is involved in the food decision-making, McDonalds ALWAYS enters into the conversation in one way, shape or form. Besides the fries, the best asset at McD's is their consistency - both with their menu and generally their prices. We live in Honolulu, so compared with the rest of the USA, our "dollar" menu fluctuates between $1.50 and $2.50, but still this is a relatively inexpensive way to feed young mouths that can afford the extra calorie intake. This location - newly renovated by the way - is a great option after dragging the kids to Walmart, Sam's Club or Home Depot. Consider it an award, or just bribery for their good behavior. The service was consistent, and they managed to get the ENTIRE order correct. Yes, even the hamburgers with NO pickles and extra ketchup. Like most fast food joints, this McDonald's was right on par with most . . . a solid average, which isn't too bad given some of the junk out there. read more

April is terrible! Went thru the drive thru and told her two separate orders. We also provided her the mobile app code and she said it wasn't working. Told her one of the orders was via mobile order. I never thought that you could ruin something so basic I went to order online and then when I showed up, I realized there were three parking spaces. Apparently all of the numbers and parking spots are missing for the pick up. Wait for the car to leave and then I parked my car I saw an employee run out and I asked her if she had my food because I was already waiting for five minutes. She had no idea what I was saying and she literally said I don't understand. She asked me if that was food that she had on the tray. I said I don't know. I just ordered a medium fry. The food on the tray continued to bring it to another car 15 minutes went by. I came inside and asked for my fries apparently she had given the other car food which was expected ironically it was super busy outside and inside and I got cold fries needless to say this doesn't even make sense as the orders are going out so rapidly. They had one person taking orders and two people making meals on the busiest time of the day. They definitely do not care about the curbside orders so if you want to get your food, just go through the drive-through. It looks like a long line, but trust me just get in line. read more
