Open at 5:30? That's a good one. I've literally been waiting in the drive through long enough to do tons of really fascinating things. But I couldn't. Because I'm still waiting for McDonald's to open up. Is there no one here? Nope, lots of workers have wandered by the window and quickly averted their gaze as to imply that "la la la, I can't see you so I'm off the hook!" Yeah, hate to break it too you, but I fully intend to just sit here until you do your jobs. Be it another half hour or not. #SorryNotsorry *follow up. Why on god's green earth would a food company in the middle of nowhere. I mean seriously, look up Pecos, TX. Where literally half of the people work the night shift. Because everyone in a 200 mile radius, who has a job, works from 5a-5p, or vice versa, not serve their full menu anytime they actually happen to be open? Can't be bothered I suppose. Really hating on the entire McDonald's corporation at the moment.

How fun is this place!?!?! If you like iced tea, you're going to love HTeaO!…read more It's like a 7-11 with self serve dispensers with all kinds of flavors of tea. Sweet and unsweetened versions of peach tea, coconut tea, agua Fresca flavors...so many I can't even remember them all. They have little cups throughout so you can sample the flavors before buying. They offer toppings for $0.75 like cherries, blueberries, and cucumbers that you can add to your tea (lemons and limes are free). I was able to mix a few flavors of sweet and unsweetened flavors to make my own concoction at my preferred level of sweetness. They purify their own water in house for the tea to ensure good quality and even sell ice and have a water dispenser machine for you to purchase water for 25 cents per gallon. They also sell snacks, Yeti cups, and HTeaO merch in the shop. They even have powdered versions of their teas that you can buy and make at home, as well as teas by the gallon. I wish I bought a bag of tea so I can enjoy it at home.... Hoping they expand their franchise into CA because I'd be there all the time!!

There is spacious outdoor seating and a small amount of indoor seating. You order right through the front door where friendly staff handed us menus so we could choose what we wanted before going to the front. Breakfast Burrito: I loved the size of this, it wasn't too big and the ingredients were well spaced and proportioned. Sausage, egg, potato, and pico with a slice of orange for plating. Coffees: Normal drip coffee that comes burning hot, kept the lid off and it stayed hot for a very long time. Breakfast Bagel: Also a good size. Same ingredients as the burrito and tasted OK. They have a counter up front with backed good, we tried a chocolate chip cookie and it was also OK, tasted better with coffee.

Just be careful as this is not what I would refer to as a pedestrian-friendly town. This place gets packed inside... A bit claustrophobic at the register. Order and pay right away inside the cafe up the stairs to the large porch. Sorry, I didn't check for a ramp or how mobile-friendly the place is, but inside it was rather crammed with minimal seats and tables. We sat outside under the large canopy. After about 5 minutes, our food was brought out to us. My youngest daughter wolfed down her relatively large bacon/cheese/egg burrito. A small iced mocha latte made her happy. My oldest girl ordered an egg bowl. She was not happy that the green chile was on the hot side. Her sister and I sometimes wonder if she's really related to us. Lol. Small hot chocolate. I opted for the special: biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were large and fluffy with really fantastic cream gravy with spicy sausage. I was in Heaven. Especially since I didn't have to clean the kitchen. My medium vanilla latte was alright. Altogether our meals came out to $43.60 with a tip included on 10.4.2025.
