Literally worse McDonald's ever. Ordered uber eats for breakfast at 10:12am, said it was preparing my order and the uber driver went to pick it up. Then it said it had to be prepared again and a new driver was sent because it was taking so long. I text the new uber driver who tells me that someone stole my order and instead of doing it again they waited until breakfast was over (at 11am) so that they wouldn't have to do it. He literally told me to cancel my order because the employees were telling him they weren't going to make it because it was past 11. I don't get why no one told me directly. I ordered DoorDash from this location today and ordered. 40 piece nuggets with 2 large fries, 6 sauces, 2 burgers, and a smoothie. Not only did they not give the delivery driver my 2 large fries, 6 sauces and smoothie, but our nuggets were burnt and super dry. Terrible service and I would not recommend going here. The McDonald's at Broad and Girard is ideally located within walking distance from the Metropolitan Opera House where you could get a great show and at the same time have a wonderful snack. Temple University is right down the street And this is such a beautiful, walkable area that McDonald's gives you the good starting point with a wonderful breakfast and then you could spend the rest of your day out in the community, serving God. Easily accessible via SEPTA'S Broad Street subway, Girard exit the route 14 bus and the route 15 trolley. Be inspired by the quality of the coffee and the deliciousness of the meals. As soon as you walk in the door, the smell of the coffee hits you and you know you're in the right place. If you're waiting for the bus you already smell McDonald's so give in to the resistance and come on over to have a wonderful meal. I'm leaving this because it's just too comical. If you have been here you must have seen the little note they have on the window. The one with the phone number to make complaints. I genuinely had a real complaint because this place tried not serving me my mobile order, acting like they were closed. So I call it and it rings forever. Then someone finally picks up, pretends to be a voicemail and tells me to leave my complaint...she then sits there breathing heavy into the phone for another minute. No beep, no indication that it was a recording or that it was ready to receive a vocal input, just breathing. Hahaha I'm beyond astonished at a places level of unprofessionalism. Truly probably the worst McDonald's ever. The only reason why I even go here is because I live close by and get desperate sometimes and I regret it every time. They mess up the order 7/10 times. Late night early morning SPOT for coffee & FOOD!! Drive thru action can get very busy after clubs close. The staff really try to do their best to keep it moving even with delivery services coming thru. Tonight Sheba assisted me thru the drive thru. She has done so before & has always been pleasant over the mic & at the window. She also knows how to hook up a good cup of coffee that was well needed at 4am. Lol. My food was hot & DELISH. HOT cakes, hash browns & sausage were on point. My breakfast started off right today!!! Never had a problem with this location & this is why I frequent here & suggest it to others!!! I've had fine food here but often times it's surprisingly bad. Mcdonalds is so consistent usually, this is without a doubt the worst location I've found. Last time was the final nail in the coffin when both my cheeseburgers were totally hard and old with no condiments or anything on them. Waited 30 minutes for food that was clearly older.
