How I heard of this place: My first memory of Wendy's might date me: commercials from the 1980s of a cute, old woman yelling out, "Where's the beef?" This, however, was my first taste of a full Wendy's meal. Type of cuisine: Burgers. Fries. Frostys. "When Dave Thomas opened our first Wendy's restaurant in 1969, he opened the door to a new gold standard in quality food. His words "We don't cut corners on quality," affected everything from our hamburgers to our customer service. When other restaurants were using frozen beef and mass-producing food, Dave developed an innovative method to prepare fresh, made-to-order hamburgers, allowing us to quickly serve high quality and variety to millions of customers daily. He coined the phrase, "Quality is our recipe." Every day, we honor his legacy and continue to live through his values and fresh philosophy by using select, premium ingredients and serving food that's made fresh with every order. That's the way it's always been and that's the way it will stay." Ambiance: Being in a rush to make it to our Thanksgiving weekend destination in the beautiful village of Warwick, New York, there was no time to go indoors. I imagine that it resembles the likes of other fast food chains: plastic chairs and laminate tables, a walk up counter with registers and the kitchen beyond. The drive-thru, similar to others, gave us pictures to enjoy while placing our orders through the two-way speaker, as we drove around the manicured grassy mound hosting the displays. What I ordered: I ordered the Bacon Deluxe Single (but ended up with a double), as did one of my dining companions: "Three strips of Applewood Smoked Bacon piled high atop a hot 'n juicy beef patty, made to order every time. Add American cheese, cool and crisp veggies with a little condiment love and you've got a hamburger to satisfy your senses." He also ordered the Double Stack: "Two junior hamburger patties topped off with American cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickle and onion. Made fresh when you order it. Big on taste and small on price!" My second dining companion chose the Triple Cheeseburger Deluxe (minus tomatoes): "Our delicious hot 'n juicy beef patty topped with all the essentials: American cheese, pickles, onions, tomatoes and lettuce." We each also enjoyed a 5-piece Chicken Nuggets: "Eat with your fingers. Crispy outside, juicy inside, Wendy's® Chicken Nuggets are all-white meat. You choose the sauce: barbecue, honey mustard, sweet and sour, ranch or honey." And our meals were each accompanied by fries: "Let's face it--everybody's got fries. Wendy's has got something special. Naturally-cut from whole Russet potatoes, cooked skin-on, and served hot and crispy with a sprinkle of sea salt for a taste as real as it gets. You've had fries. Now try some Real fries." My meal came with a small soda, Sprite; Samyar enjoyed a large Coke and Chris substituted the soda with a vanilla Frosty, made with fresh Grade A milk and rich cream, thick enough that a straw and strong slurping muscles could hardly handle it. What I loved: My favorite part was the fries, as it nearly always is with fast food. I enjoyed the somewhat less salty, soft, doughy natural cut strips of delicious potato. The chicken nuggets were also juicy, tender, with a crisp outside. The bacon, abundant, crisped to perfection. The Frosty a thick, vanilla cup of delicious. Why I loved it: Quick. Easy. First time at Wendy's, celebrated with two of my favorite people. I am also sort of excited about my next trip to Wendy's (though not any time soon), when I can sample one of the baked potato options. Yum! I went to wendys and ordered 4 sandwiches. The people at the drivethru were confused and arguing over which order was mine. I got back home and ate 2 sandwiches that were a part of my order. However the one sandwich in the bag is not the same (chicken instead of fish) and im missing another cheeseburger from biggie deal. I didnt get a receipt either from the drive thru. I go back and its a new shift and they refused to honor my request to fix the order. I brought back the 2 wrappers and the full chicken sandwich. They wont look up the card I used to pay either. There is a record of the charge in my bank account. A complaint to corporate has been filed. Additionally this place has shady things going on like "the card machine isn't working" after 12 am, "cash only". read more

Order a 10 piece nugget and the new sauces. well the cashier tried saying the Wednesday mystery sauce was a new sauce had no problem paying the extra $.54 for all the sauces. Ordered a large fry it was half empty.not my 1st choice to come to this one. The customer service at this Wendy's is awful they don't listen they failed to tell you that they don't have things on the menu but charge you for it. A review usually talks down to the quality of cuisine or the professionalism of the staff on a single visit- instead I'm just going to hope that Wendy's is listening when I say this, attention should be paid at this location because on a regular basis this location is terrible with cuisine, staff, cleanliness and customer service- there is another one closer so maybe visit that one. The manager and management in general are discourteous brash and kinda scary. I'm not the only one to voice this opinion but I've waited too long to put it in print,. This is a terrible location, your food is wrong a lot of the time, the management is abrasive and nearly incoherent some of the time and the place smells like a damp trash bag. I have nothing bad to say about the employees. I know they're trying their best during this time. I had the hardest time getting a refund for an order that I couldn't pick up because the doors were locked though. I have a limited time for my lunch break, so I needed to grab food and go. The in store pickup option should not be available if the doors are going to be locked. I left without any food since the drive thru line here has always taken me 15-20 minutes to get through. Took me 2 weeks to get a refund. No response to my email. No gift card or anything for wasting my lunch break and me having to eat instant noodles for lunch that day. read more

But often times there has been a female who gives off a vibe as if you, the customer are doing HER a favor. The customer service at this location is horrendous. We placed an approx. $30 order at the drive through and were shorted one chicken sandwich. We went back through the drive through, waited about 10 minutes, and informed the staff. I was immediately met with distrust and hostility; the person with whom I spoke shut the window on me. When they eventually gave us our missing sandwich, I asked for the staff person's name. She refused to provide it. Her coworkers came up to the window in a hostile manner and they refused to give her name. The drive-thru is very very long I'm getting ready to get out of line to go to another restaurant but why I'm sitting in this line at Wendy's I'm looking at Kentucky is not that crowded Burger King is not that crowded Taco Bell has a long line just like Wendy's. Dave's double cheeseburger is very tasty. I think they improved their recipe. On top of that I also ordered large Chili which I have been eating for years. It didn't disappoint as usual. There is absolutley nothing fast about their drive-thru. From the moment I drove into the line to the moment I got my food took about 15 min if not longer. My order also was missing a spoon (essential item for my Chili and hot sauce). Chili was cold and had to be reheated in a microwave. That slogan in my pic is bunch of BS. This is one of the worst Wendys I've ever been to. Whose idea was it to only have 1 cashier on a Sunday? Line wrapping around inside and upset customers. I give this a 4 because the night shift was super nice and friendly. Any Wendy's you go to at this time of night (11:30pm) you gotta wait in a long line of catch an attitude from someone. I probably waited in total 5 minutes, asked for extra sauce with no issue. Only thing was that my fries were a little over cooked , as well as my sandwich was was pretty hard. Hoorah for the Wendy's triple baconator! My wife tells me I'm going to be found dead at Wendy's for getting this "heart-attack" burger! I asked for 10 regular nuggets and 10 spicy nuggets I got 20 spicy nuggets and heartburn. And I couldn't even cool down I ordered a large ice tea which was just as hot as the nuggets. We were in the drive thru line for what felt like 5 hours. It felt like there was one person working. It was ridiculous.

The dinning room is a disgrace, food and trash are everywhere and what's sad is I'm sure it sits like this all day and no one takes the intuitive to grab a broom and dustpan and clean up. Even where the condiment stand is where you get straws and napkins is dirty, this place is always out of condiments for to go orders and the lines are always long. I'm sure if the cashier would cut the gossiping to the food expediter in half the wait will also be cut in half. I rarely go to fast food chains, but the heat and the thought of a frosty made me cave. I don't like drive thru's, so I opted to hop in real quick, then take my food home. Well, real quick turned into 20 minutes of a stalled line. I'm not exactly sure what the holdup was, but the employee's didn't seem to care. No one even pretended to hurry or look apologetic. When I finally made it up to the counter (After I watched at least two people in line behind me walk out in a tizzy) the cashier took time to continue joking and talking with her co-worker before even looking at me. No apology for the wait even after I was finally recognized. I got my food in a fair amount of time, then stopped over to get some ketchup and the pump was completely empty. Three strikes and this Wendy is out for me. I could barely hear the cashier talking even when I asked her to repeat things. She would just not speak up. We ordered a plain cup of water with all our meals and she didn't bother to tell us she was charging us two dollars per cup. I would've rather bought a bottle of water then paid for a two dollar cup of tapwater. She actually brought out one bottle of water and 2 cups and we were very confused by that and tried to get clarification but she did not offer it. I wanted to get the yummy looking cookies but a fly was in there. They were also on the wrong shelves because they obviously didn't care when they were matching the labels with information on the cookies next to the cookies. I got the avocado chicken sandwich because I love avocado. It was fake avocado sauce that tasted nothing like avocado and there was hardly any of it on there. The frosty was runny.
