McDonald's is a fast-food restaurant that prides itself on speedy service and consistency from one location to another. As one would expect they offer a wide array of hamburgers, from the basic single burger to the lavish "Quarter Pounder." The hungriest patrons might prefer the cleverly named "Big Mac," which boasts two all beef patties, a delightful special sauce, crisp lettuce, organic American cheese, farm raised pickles and onions, all carefully nestled on a sesame seed bun. And don't miss the french fries, which are shoestring cut, blanched in tap water, and deep-fried in an unidentified type of hydrogenated vegetable oil. Meals can be "super sized" for those with the heartiest of appetites. The menu is surprisingly large for a short-order restaurant though, featuring other items such as mechanically separated chicken part entrees like the "McNugget," which can be purchased in boxes of varying portion sizes and come with your choice of sauces encased in individual plastic serving containers. I have heard they offer a seasonal called the "McRib," made of savory chopped pork pieces and molded into a tender boneless rib sandwich at select locations. Given the special nature of this sandwich, it may only be offered in larger cities. Perhaps most exciting for caffeinated beverage consumers is the "McCafe," which one could explain as a coffee shop within the restaurant. Beverages include lattes, frappes, and simple coffee beverages served piping hot in cups with appropriate temperature warnings. This scintillating beverage concept has rendered Starbucks superfluous. Overall, I think these restaurants will remain successful though I wish the McCafe would serve spiked coffee beverages after noon. read more

We had never been to this McDonald's before...and never will again. First off, the staff was slow with the food. We have been to plenty of McDonald's in the past, and it has never taken this long. Plus there were no other customers in the place when we arrived. Second, both of our orders were incorrect. Third, besides the orders being wrong, there was Big Mac sauce on a Quarter Pounder. Fourth, although we are not sure of anything, both my wife and I had an upset stomach later. We should have been suspicious when we drove up, as there were no other cars in the parking lot. Any McDonald's we have ever been to ALWAYS has customers, no matter what time of day it is (and this was Sunday evening at 5:08). There should have been at least a few customers. There are plenty of other fast food restaurants in the immediate area. GO!! read more

I went here Saturday morning just to get a quick breakfast. Not knowing that I was going to get food poisoning. I've been sick to my stomach since then and have lost a lot of weight my temperature barely raises above a 96, I just feel horrible. Not myself anymore. You shouldn't have very high expectations when going to any mcdonalds in general, but this specific one is so bad I have no idea how it's even open still. The food is always terrible, old, never right. ALL the staff are complete clowns especially the managers and anyone who puts that they worked at this specific mcdonalds on their future resume should NEVER be hired anywhere. Just wondering what happen to fast food. Fast food as we once knew is a thing of the past. It seems awfully slow at Quincy store. Also they raised the happy meal price $2.00. Other stores are still $3.00, Nevada, Ft Scott, Ottawa and probably more locations. Business must be pretty bad. One sunday morning I ordered bfast and they were out of biscuits. The staff pretty much yells at each other all the time, at least while i was there (which was for 3ish hours). Totally unprofessional.

This isn't always a healthy or wise pick but sometimes you take whats available and count your blessings.

The food is always a hit or miss, one day you'll get really fresh stuff, then the next stale & cold everything. Lines get extremely long, probably due to poor management. Ive been served at least a dozen drinks with no syrup in the soda machine, and I've also had numerous orders incorrect. read more

If I could I would give this location a zero. We went in the employees were having a good time laughing and cutting up. Unfortunately they were not working while doing this. It took over 25 minutes to get our food. When we got it half of it was wrong. Come on just do your job. read more
