Absolute worst service ever. 7 cars in front of me at the start of my drive thru experience, 30+ min later I finally got to the window with a miserable lady just sticking her hand out to get my card. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as this was my first time at this McDonald's, but when I was at the window I saw a fat ginger dude stuffing nuggets down his throat. We ordered two sausage McMuffin with egg sandwiches and got one with sausage and egg but no cheese and another with cheese and egg but no sausage. Rice- Enterprises owned restaurants have the worst service and quality of food they serve. I went at about 9:30 with my 75+ great grandparents. the waiter must've had horrible hearing because she had to verify everything, I had a $25 gift card and we had a $30 order. my grandfather gave them a $10 bill along with the card, they gave the bill back and didn't even take all of the money off the gift card. the food was strange... my McNuggets were deformed. it was so busy, it's like everyone did not care for my 78 year old grandma and 82 year old grandfather. it was so noisy. If your sign says 24/7, don't be rude when someone pulls up 24/7. Pulled up at 1:00am, tried to order food got told "deliveries only" and then "we are closing up". The things you do for the people you love...I'll tell you what. As I have said in prior reviews for McDonald's, I'm not the biggest fan, and I rarely eat the food. Taken my better half to an appointment he wanted something quick to eat before we got there. Being in the North Side in this area that leaves few places to go. Our first choice was closed for the day so begrudgingly I agreed to go here. I thought what could it hurt? Well...it hurt me. First, this was probably one of the hottest days in the city for us. So when you go to a fast food restaurant you are hoping to sit in a comfortable environment. It's like the heat hit you in the face when you walked in here. Not a love tap, but a full on punch. See the air conditioning was broken that day. You take the heat outside and add to that all the heat being generated from preparing the food, it makes for an unwelcoming experience. (And we would have used the drive thru, but it was backed up to the entrance to the lot). So we decided to brave it. I did not want a full meal as I do not particularly care for the food. I just decided to get a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. What harm could come from that. Well for me, it was almost a trip to the hospital as my allergies flared up right after I ate the food. The food tasted like horse crap and reeked of Jeffrey Dahmer's apartment I ordered a Large Fry, 2 Double Cheeseburgers, and a medium Dr Pepper. It is called fast food, not INSTANT. They can pre-make product and have it sitting and waiting so when it is ordered they can throw it in your bag. Little do you know it was sitting and waiting for maybe 10 minutes so the customer can be in and out quickly (which is not what they do b.t.w.). The food is made as it is ordered. I prefer quality over speed. If you are in a rush....you should have woke up earlier and made your own food or lunch or whatever. Remember their blood is as red as yours. I would give this place negative stars if I could. I cannot say anything positive about my experiences here. I've had bad service for years, but just moved down the street and figured maybe it's better now. WRONG. I'll often go late at night and have had multiple bad experiences. I had ordered ahead on the McDonald's app for this location on a Saturday night around 11:30pm. The app took the order, gave me an order number, instructions for the drive through, and a time the food would be ready. I went to the drive through and said "hi I'm here for an online pickup" to which the girl working responds "we don't do that here." Offering no further information. I continued "oh well the app took my order and I paid, is there any way you can look up the order number?" And the employee responds, "no." Again offering no further attempt to help in any way, or give an apology or any info. She then after a moment of silence responds, "are you gonna order anything or what?" So I left. On a different occasion, I went around 10pm on a Monday evening. This is a 24 hour McDonald's, and according to everything online and in the store, the hours aren't adjusted due to covid. I pull up to the drive through and the employee working immediately barks at me "we're closed." So I pull into a parking space to see if the neighboring restaurants are open and notice about 4 cars in the parking lot all with various people standing around. As I'm pulling out, I see several of these people go pound on the drive through window and the locked doors and watch the girl working unlock the door and let all her friends in. Really sad watching an employee abuse their workplace. In addition to these experiences, I've been met with nothing but attitude from miserable employees and food that usually is missing something or wrong or thrown in the bag very sloppy.
