In a world with a plethora of fast food options, it is nice to have a place willing to take on the top cow with no holds barred. Let's face it... Chick-Fil-A is the pinnacle of fast food and will always be Popeye's daddy! But hey... options aren't a bad thing. This Popeye's is relatively new and it is noticeable with the modern decor and building. Even their "Love That Chicken" is just an homage to the already mighty "Eat Mor Chikin" The drive thru was quick and easy with the employee carefully asking for every option and kindly ensuring that the meal was exactly what I ordered... and more importantly what I wanted. I ordered the Classic Sandwich with Cajun Fries and a Biscuit along with a Sweet Tea. Everything was made fresh and hot to eat! The sandwich is pretty awesome... crispy chicken, buttery bun. The Cajun fries are a nice touch. Differentiates them from the crowd and touches on the Louisiana Kitchen vibe. The biscuit is such a cute side option and I love that it is served with a honey packet. Will I pick Popeyes over CFA... probs not. We placed an order for pickup on our way home. We arrived for pickup and let me tell you, everything was done so fresh, the biscuits were so warm and buttery, the chicken was hot! Mashed potatoes and gravy and the Mac n Cheese were all done fresh, we arrived around 6pm, and it was perfect. To get home was another 15 minutes and when we got home it was still hot, I definitely recommend this location because every time we order we get fresh food. Service was fast as well and everything was clean. I love when restaurants take the time to give customers fresh food. read more

Ordered through the app after downloading it and setting it up. Today there was no line which was great because the previous attempts to come here the line went up the road. They were welcoming and pleasant. Had a little issue locating my order but eventually figured it out. The building is nice and clean and there is some cups and buckets sitting out back that I would probably move from public view. The gentleman at the window was very nice and reconfirmed my order and then passed it out and told me to have a blessed day which was nice to hear. The sandwich was pretty good. A tad greasy though. I added cheese to it but they forgot to add it unfortunately so I just used my own at hkme. All other toppings were correct. The sweet tea is fairly sweet and was sort of like McDonald's sweet tea. The mac n cheese was delicious though it wasn't filled all the way and seemed like it was missing half a scoop for a large side. I would recommend this restaurant to others and will most likely eat there or get food to go from there again. read more

I have to start by noting that this order was placed through GrubHub and not directly with the restaurant. The delivery service notes that the venue has control over menu items and pricing. You often find several different prices listed in different places, before you get assessed for service fees, delivery, taxes and a tip solicitation of 20%. I do not mind this if I get the services I pay for. I do mind this when things go wrong and nobody takes any responsibility. When there is any issue, everyone points fingers. Amazon is linked to Grubhub, but tells you to contact Grubhub with any issues. Grubhub tells you to contact the restaurant or just states that you waited too long to complain, so there is nothing they are willing to do. The restaurant is clueless and sends you back to the delivery service. Worse yet, the Amazon link appears to be broken, and rather than signing you in, it takes you back to the original log in screen. The issues are many and could be easily fixed. When, for example, you look at the box options, a 2 piece clearly shows a leg and thigh. What I got were 2 smashed up wings and overcooked, dry breasts. Unlike KFC, you are not given the option of choosing white or dark meat. Since I had aready ordered 2 packs of wings, giving me more wings seemed kind of stupid. I won't address the concept of cutting the wings in half to turn them into wing dings and counting each piece as an individual wing. I will admit that I thought the mashed potatoes and gravy were good, and far better than the ones from KFC. Likewise, I did like the beans and rice. I can't speak to the biscuit, since it fell on the floor before I could try it. The wings were good, with a decent amount of sauce. I admit to only trying one, since my order of 2 boxes and 2 wing orders were split between 2 people. The prices were higher than other chicken places, so I was expecting better food and service. I feel I got neither. The drinks were fine, but then again, it is difficult to screw up fountain drinks. There is no consistant pricing between stores and apps, you do not get to make some choices that should be standard and reasonable, and complaints are not addressed. There's something special about going to a brand new Popeyes. The fryers are perfectly clean. The staff is running everything by the book. And what do you get? Immaculate fried chicken. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked and incredibly clean. The secret isn't out on this one yet as they were incredibly quiet for a weekday at 6pm. And it was probably the best meal I've had at Popeyes in some time. read more

I have not been to Popeyes for a while now. Recently, one had opened in Harmarville so I went to check it out. I had always liked their food previously. The prices are definitely higher, like a lot of places. The chicken strips were good but more salty than I had remembered. The Cajun beans and rice were very good. Service fine. read more

This is the second time I have gone through the drive through only to have my order wrong and up-charged for items I didn't order. When confronting the employee they just laughed and said sorry. Please beware. Check your order before buying anything. They are attempting to boost profits by sneaking charges on everyone hoping no one will notice. Very regrettable lunch. The chicken sandwich was 70% breading and the Mac n cheese was inedible. I can't understand how this franchise is still in business. But if you do like Popeyes, the place was clean and service was good. read more

The service here is by far the best of any Popeyes I've been to in the Pittsburgh area. The staff here are so kind, polite, and efficient! I feel like I'm never waiting for my food. This is my favorite Popeyes to go to: the area is calm and quiet most. Would highly recommend coming here if you have the chance. read more
