They did not give ANY sauces. I requested bbq sauce. Typically they also give ketchup. I am angered by this failure in the mcdonalds system.

Food took FOREVER to come out even though ordered on the app plenty of time before I arrived. Ordered an UNSWEETENED iced tea. Got the empty cup to self serve and there was only sweet tea in the dining room. Waited at the counter forever to get the attention of staff to get me the right tea. Finally got it and it was sweet. Went back AGAIN for a replacement and it came back sweet again. I just threw it out. Every table was dirty. I ordered "for here" and my food came in a bag - when I pulled the nuggets out they hadn't secured the box and they went everywhere including the floor. This location SUCKS. Recently stopped in, and there was this extremely pleasant young man rather tall but very nice. He made sure my family and I were comfortable and really gave the place a warm feel, but some other employees who I can only assume to be managers were doing what seemed to be everything in their power to run him ragged while they sat in one spot and talked the day away... I swear it was like cinderella... wipe this, mop that, take this out, take that in, replace this, calling him like a dog when he was in the middle of something they asked him to do, then scold him for not being quick enough? Someone on the kitchen crew this morning is taking pride in perfection! Ordered an Egg McMuffin & a Sausage McMuffin with egg and both were Exactly as they were meant to be. Fresh, toasted, hot, everything perfect. Been a Long Time since I've had an Egg McMuffin done right. Usually (other locales) burnt bread, cold cheese, something sub par. Not here! Came in tonight with a friend. Currently sitting in the restaurant as I'm typing this. We ordered our food on the machines they have. My friend got his regular meal and a large coke. When he got his food from the staff, they forgot to give him a large cup for his coke. As seen in my photos, the cups are available to grab once you get your order, thats why they are there in the front. So my friend goes and grabs the large cup and gets his drink. I'm still waiting for my order and the guy behind the counter says to me, "tell your friend not to steal a cup next time." First of all, what?? If he saw my friend take the cup, why did he not say something at the time? Also, why would he assume that my friend stole the cup, he can see his order if he really thought he was stealing. I told him I would show him the receipt and I did. At this time I was infuriated and after proving that we didn't steal anything, another employee jumped in and said "he said IF your friend was stealing." Are you serious? Trying to justify this guy accusing us of stealing a dollar item that we didn't steal. Love it. Terrible people at this place. Avoid at all costs. Somehow some way these people always manage to ruin your order. You would think with Marist across the street they would hire some competent employees. You can say your order slow and concise and they will still find a way to ruin your order. It really should not be that hard. Had to wait for our order in the drive thru and when we received it we checked the order and the order was incorrect. We then had to wait for our correct order. However, the staff was very courteous and were actually the ones that suggested we make sure our order was accurate. Additionally, we were given two free Apple pies and got to keep the incorrect order that we first received. Since they did the new renovations I must say that customer service is at an all-time low. They hired a whole new staff and this is the nicest way that I can say it are all completely ignorant the old staff was great. Gosh, this place got big with the expansion of the self-service kiosks. However, when I had my order placed and paid (via credit card) the receipt I had the machine print never printed. Was told the problem laid in the thermodynamics of the ink. The employee - who was the Manager on Duty - mentioned she could print out a receipt, but after she looked around on her boards, found that she couldn't print duplicates for two orders (mine and my brothers' orders). It was breakfast time. I know I can trust my bank, but having something in writing saying what I had ordered would have been nice. (Also, before I forget...:this adjustment was made after I typed out the remainder of this review) There were no eat-in notifier chips on or near any of the machines. I ended up pressing in buttons that didn't designate what really happened. What happened? Why were there any of these notifier chips stocked on these machines? Do you not have employees re-stocking them at the end of the day? I know it's a new concept, but let's make it clear: learn the new stuff. Your one Kingston location has had these machines and this was less of a problem there at first. Otherwise, that order came out positive. Things went over real well. Likkity split the order came out. It was the right items. The manager tried to fulfill the order, and even asked me how many syrups I wanted (something that no other McDonalds would ever do). They filled my orange juice and I was ready to eat in about 5 minutes worth of standing waiting in line after the machine's mess-up. Later, after I finished my breakfast order, went directly up to the register to purchase a Chocolate Shamrock Shake (it was about 10:30am). The employee was unsure if they had the necessary stuff to fulfill my order (I knew they could, as they fulfilled my brothers' Chocolate Shamrock Shake in his order minutes before). The employee (who wasn't the manager) got confirmation that they could (I already knew that) and proceeded. The employee tried to ring up my transaction in the machine where there was another customer. I had a credit card with a chip as payment, and felt like I was intruding into this other customer's Comfort Zone. It went over well otherwise. The order came out and I was on my way in a few minutes. This restaurant looks spacious now. You now have a lot more space between tables, and you no longer feel cramped here. It seems like the Marist kids that used to work here, no longer work here (or at least not during the breakfast run when I came in). The floor was clean and clear. (Not like I was going to try, but...) I could almost lick the floor it was that clean. This is definitely something I couldn't have said prior to the upgrade. If it wouldn't have been for the receipt problem on the kiosk, this review would have been a perfect 5-star rating. However, you really did it to me. They never did tell me how they could remedy the problem. Even saying that you'd put a sign up warning other customers about the blank receipts would have sufficed, from my book. You seemed to have taken no action to remedy the problem. read more

This place is 24 hours yet for some reason they are never prepared in the mornings during breakfast hours. Their systems are either down or the menu is limited to something nobody wants. And if you do happen to order something it's not fresh!! I give up on this place. I have been here 4 times and have not received proper service yet. This Mcdonalds is my preferred location - one thing that's very important when coming here is that this location attracts so many different diverse groups of people, and all of this depends on the time in which you decide to make a visit. For example, people of all different ages are there for lunch but after 8pm it's all Marist kids and and younger college kids from all over the place, half drunk and ready to party. This is a great location and definitely my favorite to go to late at night (as a student myself!). Service here can get slow but only due to understaffing. Food here is like any other McDonald's and the staff here are, just like the customers,very diverse and friendly. read more

To put it simply, I am nothing short of McDissapointed. Ahhh, McDonald's, a household name for many, and a main food group for a college student. The fries; crispy and golden brown with just the right amount of salt. The coke; chilled to perfection with just the right amount of carbonation and sweetness. The burgers; tender meat, soft delicious buns, and ever so perfect clover green pickles with the perfect crunch in each bite you take. Now, you've heard the perfect meal for any American at any time, but have you realized what's missing yet? THE KETCHUP!!! I was not only disappointed but DISTRAUGHT at how this establishment forget to add the most underrated part of any McDonald's meal after I had politely asked them to. I have watched this mcdonalds go down the drain over the last year. Last night put the icing on the cake for me. Around 8:30-8:40ish last night i observed an employee working the register area turn around to empty out the old coffee filter - what happened next will make me never ever buy coffee from this location again- she pulled out the plastic piece that holds the coffee filter and stuck the whole thing in the metal trash can next to the ice cream machine behind the register to dump out the old filter instead of just removing it with her hands and then proceeded to put a new filter in without washing the piece she just stuck in a trash can that had old milk etc hanging out and then open the coffee and put it in the filter and stick it back in the machine!!!!! Are you kidding me???? So lets serve up customers bacteria with a smile smh!! She was skinny light skinned and has a pink bling iphone in her back pocket with minnie mouse type ears. I was order number 658. The restaurant has become dirtier and dirtier the last few months which is not normal for this location. Management seems nice but i think they play the friend role rather than boss role to their employees who now do whatever they want. The soda machines are filthy!!! Its a mess! Food was all over the floor in the cooking area- you mean to tell me nobody was available to sweep it up? Ice cream machines were dripping everywhere and what happened to the term "fast food"? Takes 15-20 min on average to get my order what happened to majority of mcdonalds 2 min or less? And tell me why oh whyyyyy do i have to use a machine to place my order? I hate those machines!!! Ever since they made the renovations in this McDonald's it has been a horrific experience trying to get your order. I have been coming to this McDonald's long before the construction and never had problems or waited online too long. Now with one or two people in front of me I can wait on line for 20 minutes before my order is taken then you wait another 20 to 30 minutes for your order to come out period Mass confusion and the food quality has gone down. I have not gone in there since the renovation without having an issue with my orders. I order a sausage McMuffin with no Egg & I get a sausage biscuit with no egg. I ordered sausage burritos and their ice cold. Today when I ordered our food we ordered the sausage burrito Meal which comes with a hash brown. We also ordered a sausage biscuit and another hash brown and I checked the order before we left the window as we went to the drive-thru there were no hash browns and since we ordered hotcakes there was not enough syrup. I don't know why I just keep coming back but I don't think I'm going to be using McDonald's anymore. It's a shame I've been going for a very very long time to McDonald's and it's quite upsetting that they can't get an order straight. As for the renovations it is not friendly any more tables are not enough and not comfortable. Also the idea of having two order stations on the drive thru and both lines have to merge into one to the windows is stupid.
