This particular McDonald's in Prescott Valley really is a disappointment. Never fails when it comes to ordering a Vanilla cone. Not once, since I have moved here in 2019 have I ever gotten a Vanilla cone from there. There would always be an excuse. "Sorry machine is down" or "sorry we are out of vanilla ice cream". It is a bummer when you go through the drive thru just to order a vanilla cone and have them say they're unavailable. You're bummed but at the same time frustrated because now you're stuck in the drive thru. A drive thru that never flows. So you're impatiently waiting. It would be nice if there's like a notification prior to entering the drive thru that they're out of vanilla cone or whatever else they're out of so people won't get stuck in the drive thru. I was sent to the second window to wait for 1 cup of coffee waited there for 5 mins and nothing I reversed my car to the first window letting them know in case they forgot about me since 2 cars behind me had gotten there food completely and left already. Well I ask the white chubby manager who is standing with 4 other people next to the register doing nothing at all. And she tells me it's still brewing with an attitude (she looked high off pills or something) like I said she looked like a manager she was wearing the burgundy button up shirt and then there was also another guy manager on the shift! It's past noon and you have all these employees standing around for a minimum wage of $15 it's BS!! DRUG TEST YOUR EMPLOYEES!! Maybe by DT we will all as a community get better customer service it's not the first time I leave without my order I asked for my money this time but I have left from the second wait window after 30 mins of waiting for a box of already paid cookies. They have no customer service skills most of them look like they are on high off of something. Good eats. I had 2 Hot and Spicy's, 2 McDouble's, 1 cheeseburger and 3 Bomb ass chocolate chip cookies and a medium drink for only $9.89! Now some may think the price is so low because it has so many artificial ingredients, but hey, my chicken sandwich was crunchy, cookies were soft and gooey. The food quality was up to par so I had a pretty enjoyable experience. [8/10] would recommend. read more

I understand that Covid is a serious thing. But customer service STILL needs to be practiced. Leave your home drama at home. You are at work to perform a job, not to act uppity or snide because your family has suffered. I went thru the drive thru and I had a cough while I was placing my order:... someone in my car made a joke about my cough being Covid. At first she was polite enough.... she explained that if I DID have Covid, then she would have to cancel the order. Well when I got to the window, the person in my car tried to explain that they were just joking. At which point the McDonalds employee took it upon herself to bring her family into it. Immediately, the short girl with the bright red hair raised her voice at me, and told me that she is Native American (I am Mexican American so I'm not sure why she tried to pull a race card on me) and she continued to berate us and told us that jokes aren't funny and that half of her family had died from Covid. Then she Refused me service. Unprofessional. Now, I'm patient to a point..... but I'm sorry, your job is to take money and hand food out of a window.... NOT to give scathing reprimands to every customer you take personal offense too. If you are so upset that your family is dead, then stay home and mourn. Don't punish the public because of it. Due to my sons love for McDonald's I came here again to see if the fly situation has been resolved yet. The answer is it hasn't. I shouldn't have to be afraid of where to sit due to flys possibly landing on my food. Every other table we went to sit at had food and hair on the seats and food on the tables. Went to McDonald's and ordered the Travis Scott meal and asked for a large size I got stail medium fries and a flat Dr. Pepper. And they forgot to scan my coupon for $6.00 and charged me $22.00 then they gave me a refund and only gave me 5.00 back and the manager that was pregnant was rude and told the guy it's not your fault but it is because I told the guy I have a $6.00 coupon on the app and she started like shaking her head. My husband and I were in Prescott Valley for a family funeral. We stopped before church at this Macdonald's and were so, so pleasantly surprised. Our breakfast order was ready in, literally, minutes. Coffee was hot and delicious. Food was tasty and also nice and warm. The entire site was clean and orderly. But the best was the staff! It is obvious that management here leads through example. So I decided to test McDonald's today. I asked for their Triple Cheese Burger with NO cheese and add special sauce for FREE. The teller told me she couldn't do that and I asked why? She said I can't take the $.39 cent's off in the register I said how much is a slice of cheese and she said $.39. Since the sandwich has 2 slices on it why can't you just do it without the register? I mean I'm telling you I can save you the $.78 because I'm not getting the cheese, shouldn't that count as credit? She said I will have to get the manager. I said fine. Another customer service failure. I ordered food and stated that I would be eating in the restaurant. My number was called and I approached the counter. The employee placed my food in a paper bag. I stated that it was not a take out. She gave me a disgusted look, grabbed the bag roughly and started to place the food on the tray. She never said a word to me and almost threw the tray at me. I used to go to McDonald's all the time to get my iced coffees in the morning before work and sometimes from time to time get the egg McMuffin and hash browns. Good prices I'll give them that but I stopped going after experiencing something that made my stomach turn. I was waiting at the drive thru one early morning about 5 am and I ordered a hash brown and saw one of the employees drop the hash brown on the floor and put it back in the bag. What a joke, the last few times we have gone here never fails something is always wrong. First off we ordered 2 latte's only got one then was told to pull ahead and wait so they could make it. Ummm no, not moving forward to park and wait 20 minutes for them to make my oh so difficult latte, and probably spit in my drink. Ordered a sausage mc muffin with egg and a mcgriddle, which come already made and the difficult task of putting the right thing in the bag. Get home and lone behold... The wrong food. Why is it so hard? I was confused with what I ordered after the idiot took my order and read it back.. This place needs to get it together. It has turn into a complete joke.. Service is very slow. All McDonalds have slowed to the point where they actually give out numbers so they can call you when your order is done, but this one put up a screen so you can go sit down and watch for your number. The food is okay, but they have a box of ketchup packets rather than let you get a cupful from a pump. Not impressed with anything here. It's time for McDonalds in general to re-think how they got where they are, reduce the menu and find ways to assemble the sandwiches, etc faster and just keep them warm like they used to. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I work late hours and they're usually the only place left open for me to grab food. Every time I go my order is either incomplete, made incorrectly, or cold. Managers have no idea how to handle customer service issues. The only time I've ever been compensated was when my old student was working and saw I had been waiting 25 minutes for a burger and fries with only one car ahead of me. I went to this location because options were limited after midnight. When we pulled up to one of the two drive thru intercoms, the first thing the attendant said was that they were only accepting cash. Not a big deal, I worked fast food for four years, so assume that their computer system was down. Another big tell was that they said they'd have the total at the window. We waited for three minutes before being greeted at the window and then given the total. It seemed a little high so I asked what was on the order. There was another car with more people ordering at the same time as us, so it seemed like a valid question. She gave me a look of absolute disgust, I don't know, maybe it was a dumb question after all. She reassured us that it was our order, so I gave her the cash. When i got the food, I just counted the number of sandwiches and assumed all was good. When I arrived at home I discovered that all 5 of the sandwiches were in the same wrapper, 4 double cheese burgers, 2 with ketchup only, and 1 McChicken. 5 wrappers later, turns a there was no McChicken. Funny story, that's not the worst part, all of the double cheeseburgers were singles with an extra slice of cheese. And because their computer system was down, I never received a receipt. So I lost out on like 5 dollars worth of McDonald's, not my worst fast food experience. The point is that people don't go to McDonald's in the middle of the night because they're expecting a gourmet meal, but they expect to get what get pay for. If this unacceptable service continues, I imagine people will just go to the frozen food section at Wal-Mart and rely on their microwaves. TLDR: All around bad experience. read more

I went today at lunch time, they were busy so one would think the food would be coming off the grill as fast as going out the door. Nope. I got a number 1 and 2. You could tell all the burgers had been under a heating lamp for awhile, the fries were cold and hard. We eat out rarely and it is a treat but this experience was not. Disappointed!
