Then someone says hello I say can I get a grand Mac that is on the menu but no they don't do it anymore I was told. I've frequented McDonald's since was a kid in the 60's all over the US and in some foreign countries. I reside in Puyallup now and can't remember ever being as disappointed anywhere else as I am here. It's not often anymore but on occasion I don't feel like cooking breakfast so I will go here and order my favorite, a big breakfast, no hotcakes. Which means I get hash browns. Of the last 10 visits I've received hash browns maybe 5 times. But this last visit topped them all. I ordered, I paid and pulled up to the drive thru service window. After a moment of waiting I was told "we're just waiting for your hash browns". I know how things are, it could take a bit so I agreed to wait. A bit later I was asked to move to one of the parking spots while the hash browns cooked. I didn't want to be the one to hold others up in line, so I moved and awaited my order. That's twice the window told me we were waiting for hash browns. About 3 minutes later my order was brought out. I graciously thanked them and drove home. Upon arrival, guess what? NO HASH BROWNS! I couldn't believe it. Really? Ever hear of Quality Control? They just weren't that busy to miss something they had brought up in subject twice. Ugh. read more

So I order on the cheap...and was shorted 10 dollars in change :( That's pretty sizable in the realm of 1.50 meal and here is 20...handing someone 8 dollars you might realize hmmm...not right. I have been going to this Macdonald's since I was in high school. Probably average 4-5 trips per month. Have seen this one go down hill over the years. Slowest drive thru west of the Mississippi. The buns are always really dry and rarely do the workers ever squirt enough ketchup or mustard on the bun. One sour pickle per burger. The fries are usually undercooked and still taste raw. Earlier reviews are correct about ordering in the drive thru line closest to the building....cars in the right lane always get their orders taken first. Plan on 15 minutes to go from ordering to getting your food! The Lacey Macdonald's knows how to work with its customers and serve nicely cooked fries....but that's a long ways to go for a $7.50 meal! read more

Probably the worst McDonald's you could visit. I wish I could give them zero stars because giving up one star is being generous. The staff is not only rude but will talk about you right in front of you. First visit they were out of sweet tea so I was trying to get the attention of the worker walking around aimlessly. She would look at me and walk away real quick like she didn't just make eye contact with me while I started to talk. So I asked a different worker and she told me she wasn't sure how and would get someone to do that, after ten minutes I just asked the people behind the counter. Second visit the same worker that ignored me the first time, named Meagan tried to get us to use the kiosk. We didn't want to and just asked her to take our order, she insisted we use the kiosk instead but we declined and she huffed, walked around the counter, made a comment to another worker and rudely asked what we wanted. So she was mad because we made her work? And then, an elderly lady that works there ran into my daughter but made it seem like it was her fault and said to watch out for others in the lobby. This is the rudest staff I've ever encountered and would rather drive out of the way to a different McDonald's than to deal with these kind of people again. Came in to order food, and was informed that the registers were closed. We could oder from the Kiosks though. The girl in the white shirt was very helpful and polite. I was concerned with my order accuracy, but my order was so basic it came out right. As I was eating my food. I witnessed several customers upset to have to order from the kiosk, eventhough the girl was pleasent to them and tried to be helpful. It would seem that closing the registers having the Kiosk girl trying to help the customers who do not want to use them is counter productive. Also there are plenty of standing around behind the counter to open a register? Customer service is really taking a dive as it always does. Get the GM to pop their head out of their asses and really look at her client demographic. OLD PEOPLE WHO DO NOT DO TECHNOLOGY. The girls who help out with the Kiosk are not the problem. BTW, I saw a manager with white hair talk sternly at a kiosk girl for letting a customer into a restroom. I would never want to work at this location because it looks like no one wants to work from behind the counter and yell at the girls in the lobby. read more

this mcdonalds in puyallup is slow, and shady. i waited for my food to be prepared for over an hour and they still got the wrong order. our order was right on the receipt and yet they still only got the drinks right. read more

Seriously waited 40 mins for food in the drive thru and I got the wrong drink. If you're looking for a fast drive thru, this place isn't it lol. And the food wasn't even edible. Basically threw 7 bucks in the trash. I'm going to Wendy's. read more

Litteraly the worst McDonald's I have ever visited I ordered 2 sandwiches and it took them 30 minutes to make my order. When I got to the window the workers had the worse customer service I've ever witnessed giving me dirty looks and not saying one word to me. They all seemed like they're super stoned as well. I hope management figures it out and get some better employees and training in there. read more

Ok, when I review fast food places I am really not that nice about it, but honestly, after ALL the times that I've been here, I have never once had a nearly close to bad experience. First off, since all of the food tastes the same, this is just about everything else. Service is actually fine, especially since it's just a bunch of teenagers behind the counter. The only thing is, like many Yelpers have already said, the drive thru can sometimes get annoyingly long and time-consuming. Inside, it's been newly renovated so it's really cool and cozy in there :) I would recommend going sitting toward the right corridor as you walk in as they've got some great and cool seating back there that isn't used nearly as much. Another con that I have is that from the times we stopped in here for "late night munchies" there have been some SKETCHY people hanging in and around this place. But overall, this place is better than most fast food places in my opinion! I would recommend and will continue coming here on a occasional basis! read more

I really struggle with giving this location 3 stars - sometimes it is worse, sometimes better. This visit was okay, we came in around 9:30pm to order and eat in the lobby - which was fairly clean, at least a lot more than usual. Someone was ready to take our order, and they were just fine. Our food was correct and tasted okay. My reason for the mediocre rating is the overall attitude of the staff. Nothing like waiting for your food and hearing everyone yell about someone else's order in the drive thru. "What the f#%$ does this burger have special? He better know he has to f&%#ing wait". A few of the staff in the back had similar remarks, it became a bitch-fest. If you have a bad attitude or you're having a bad day (everyone does) at least do it so customers don't hear you. We got to listen to complaints the entire 20ish minutes we ate there - cussing and all. read more

I doubt people actually check McDonald's reviews on Yelp (kind of one of those "you know what you're getting into" places) but our experience with the grave shift crew here has been so bad I thought I'd throw it out there anyway. We've been to this location several times during the late night/early morning and they have NEVER gotten our order correct. On top of that, despite being the only customer in the drive thru (or at the location period) we had to wait nearly five to ten minutes to even be spoken to. Someone on the com always welcomes us, then asks us to hold... which would be totally understandable if there was anyone else to serve. Meh. I will say that I've been to this location during the day without any complications, just steer clear if it's after shift change! read more

The service is good, however, it's ran by mostly teenagers, especially in the evenings. So the garbage cans are overflowing onto the floor, there is food on the ground around any corner you look at, and the kitchen floor is disgusting, it actually made me gag. read more
