People get impatient, start honking, and it's easy to accidentally cut someone off without realizing it. They're just burgers, people--everyone needs to relax a little! That said, despite how busy it was, the line moved surprisingly fast. I ordered a double cheeseburger with everything, a side of onion rings, and a black raspberry shake. The shake was fantastic--definitely a highlight of the meal. The burger was also really good: flavorful, fresh, and exactly what I was hoping for. The only disappointment was the onion rings. They were incredibly greasy--so much so that they actually upset my stomach. I'm not sure if that's typical, but I probably wouldn't order them again. Next time I'd give the fries a try instead. One thing that really stood out was the pricing. It's refreshing to find a place that still offers fair prices when it feels like everything else costs an arm and a leg these days. Overall, I'd definitely come back. The burger and shake were worth it, and as long as I skip the onion rings, I think it'll be a solid meal.

The cheeseburgers are still lack luster but it is clear that whoever has been managing the clean up crew is doing g a way better job of maintaining their deep fryers and as such the consistency add quality has been improving over time. The service is generally slow, and even though it makes sense because of the variety and specificity you can give to your orders (which they are pretty consistent at getting right) , I still wish it wouldn't take 15 minutes to get though the drive through line to pay. Depending on the day and time, it has been MUCH longer. All that aside, I feel that the night crew's customer Service has improved in the last year and it seems they no longer try to pass off food that should have been distressed (I.e. hotdogs way past their prime) to their drive though customers anymore. During my second visit, the hostess went out of her way to try to seat us in the very back of a nearly empty restaurant.. The food was okay. The floor to and in the women's restroom was terribly sticky. Not good. On my third and final visit, again, the hostess passed several empty tables to try to seat us in the back of the restaurant. Plus, our waitress, who took at least 10 minutes to come to our table, could barely understand English. I ordered chicken curry, but she repeated some unrelated combo. I told her "no". Then, I pointed to my desired dish on the menu and repeated my order. Unfortunately, she messed up my simple order, and I received an unwanted shrimp dish. It took three wait staff and about 20 minutes to correct my order. By that time, my boyfriend was about half way through his meal he graciously offered to share. Interestingly and oddly enough, the waitress, who finally brought me my correct order, profusely apologized to my boyfriend with barely a glance my way. What an insult! That night, they lost two customers. Goodbye, Yen Ching.

The portion size was solid for the price, definitely felt like you get your money's worth. Rice was good and paired well with the chicken. The only downside for me was the macaroni salad, which I didn't really care for, but that's more of a personal preference. Overall, I would order this again.
