Great customer service. Employees were cleaning the whole time we where there. When ordering they give you a number and they bring the food to your table. We went to this location during breakfast time. Food came out fresh. We sat in the kids area, so our granddaughter could play in there activity gym, which was clean also. read more

Went to the drive through here and got a shamrock shake and a McFlurry something or other. The shake was completely liquid but the McFlurry think was ok (the latter judgement asserted by my kid who was content with it). The employee who served the green soup said it was fine and she'd been "serving them all day long". Broken ice cream machines at McDonald's are a running joke, but when they're broken they're not supposed to serve customers the mess that comes out of them, or so I thought. Stopped at McDonald's in Quakertown so a friend's granddaughters could play in the indoor playground. Needed to make a special food order and couldn't use the ciosk. The woman who finally came to the counter looking very miserable took the order. Now of course reviewing a McD's is an oxymoron onto itself in that if you've see one you've seen them all which is of course the curse and beauty of homoginized-chain-fast food dining. While I'm not going to mention anything about the "food" here the one thing which makes this place worth an occasional visit is the large play area they have at the store. It dwarfs the play areas at BK & Chik-Fil-A and on a rainy day if you can get there at a time when it's not atrociously busy it can let your children run around and do something different for an hour or two. On a positive sidebar, they do have multiple dispensers of hand sanitizer by the exit of the play area. read more

As someone who has worked in fast food, I am very understanding of what it's like. Due to this, I NEVER make any complaints regarding my orders at fast food restaurants. However, last night I ordered two sandwiches. Both of which were completely slathered with sauce. So much that each sandwich box had large globs of sauce in it. We also received absolutely no napkins. I found this out AFTER I had hands coated in sauce because most of it was under the bottom bun of the sandwich. This is not even my first experience of this. This Mcdonalds actually lives up to good expectations compared to others. They actually don't mess up your order and the quality is what you would expect from a Mcdonalds, if not maybe a bit better than others so I'm not going to deduct stars for that. Reason being to one reason why I'm giving this Mcdonalds a 4-star is because of how unsanitary the atmosphere is. The place should be cleaned a little bit more. There aren't too many choices for late-night Sunday in Q-town and sometimes, I just want something simple. So McDonald's it is. This is one of those McDonald's locations with an updated interior design. It is a standalone building at the corner of a strip mall by a busy intersection, so one may have to strategize a good way to enter the lot. The parking area for McDonald's itself doesn't seem to have enough parking spaces but I'm not from around here, so I have no idea what the crowd is like at its peak. Yes this is a five star McDonald's. Five star in comparison to other McDonald's in PA. Why? They rarely mess up your order. What other McDonald's consider normal course of business ( having to wait longer for some breakfast items), the Quakertown McDonald's considers a mistake and automatically gives a store specific apology and coupon for a free sandwich or fry. Clerks at both drive thru windows are genuinely nice, presentable and efficient. Management personnel actually do walk around the building and parking lot to inspect for cleanliness. I called Mcdonalds this morning asking if they still served Signature burgers, a favorite of mine that McDonalds has taken off their menu. They said they would make a special order for me,wow! I ordered 10 burgers, told them I'd be there at 11:00. I arrived to a group of friendly, smiling workers who had my order ready and even offered to help take my order to my car. In my mind, it seems a special kind of silly to actually review a fast food place like McDonald's... however... this one is special. There is so much to talk about at this McDonald's. The Good: The play area is big -- for playing. The inside has nice tables... The Bad: At one point, there used to be a lot of seating in the play area... however, on this visit about half of the tables that used to be there were gone. This makes sitting in the area very difficult. And if you have small children, that makes eating and playing hard as well. Unfortunately, this means that there are many children running around, pushing, kicking, screaming... which is to say being children... unsupervised. We witnessed one child, about 18 months old, trip and fall going down the stairs. After five minutes of crying, the mother was finally located and she asked her wailing child what happened. The child said, "Pushed me" -- to which Wonder Mom replied, "Well you go push them back." We then watch said toddler-to-be wander over and push a random kid down to the ground for no real reason. This is just an ambulance visit waiting to happen. We sat outside the area, and then went in when our children were playing.. and stood there... *sigh* The service at this particular Mickey D's requires that we mention it... this was around 1:30 in the afternoon. By no means the lunch rush, and it wasn't terribly busy (except in the play area -- see above). There are 6 of us, so the order isn't ever simple. However.. here's how this went... My wife ordered that BLT chicken sandwich they have... without the lettuce and tomato (yea, I know...) - it came with the lettuce and tomato and no bacon... my daughter ordered a chicken sandwich with no lettuce or mayo (yes, again, I know, my family hates things that are actually ON sandwiches... don't ask me why) -- came with lettuce and mayo... my son asked for BBQ sauce with his chicken nuggets, got honey mustard, my daughter ordered a chocolate shake with no whipped cream or cherry... you guessed it... had both. My wife ordered unsweetened iced tea -- she got sweet tea, and when we asked to have it corrected they were out of unsweetened tea and had to brew some... so we waited... and drank warm tea.... it was not great. So, all in all, this is a well-below average McDonald's -- which is saying something. read more

I just went to Mc Donald's in Quakertown, Pa to pick up breakfast. There was a friend of the people that work there that came in just before I did. So most of the people were talking to "the friend" instead of doing their jobs. It took about 12 minutes to get what I ordered. The young man behind the register apologized to me for the wait as I was leaving. Mind you I was the only customer in the building at a point. Other customers came in after me and got their order before I did!! I think I'll think twice about going to Quakertown Mc Donald's on a Sunday morning. It's no longer a cheap meal and for fast food, the service wasn't very fast. If I would have gone through the take-out window, I would have probably needed to pull up and would have gotten a coupon for my time, but not inside. They just kept chatting away like nobody was there!! This Mc Donald's was not overly busy, just staff chatting away to friends!!
