We waited in line for 30 minutes because one car was having trouble with his payment. It was finally our turn to pay, and the cashier messed up our coupon. He seemed new and frazzled and said it was a points issue? He told us to go get help at the next window. So we did, and the manager refused to help us, saying the coupon was already used. Well, yes! By the cashier at the first window! There was no mention of points on the coupon. She was very rude and wouldn't help us because it would take too long to fix. So we waited for 30 minutes, got overcharged, and then we were pushed away so that the line wouldn't be held up for the people behind us. read more

I never thought I would leave a negative review for a McDonald's but WOW. In the 4 years I lived in this area I think I was only able to eat here twice due to them never having anything available, rude staff, hours are wrong, and they overcharge. I think the Ronald McDonald foundation needs to put money into this store because clearly even the owner is missing any form of education. I'm not talking about the Ave N location. I've never been to that one. I'm irritated lately with inadequate service n promise breakers. McDonald's has cleaned up their menu to help consumers make better fast food health choices n I'm grateful for that. but they recently started a campaign to promote sales of their lattes, smoothies n shakes. Buy 5 n get the 6th one FREE. I registered online with the McDonald's app. I purchased 3 in different Palmdale locations. then when I purchased 2 more in mission hills, after they scanned my coupon from my cell, the recording of all 5 disappeared from my application as if it never happened. I waited for some message to tell me that I have earned a FREE drink, but it NEVER happened. I had to PAY for my 6th drink. That is a load of horse poop. I have ordered what was required of me to earn my FREE drink. I had ordered 6 and had to pay for ALL of them. I also had recently, an employee mess up my gift card purchase n on another occasion not have an item listed on their menu too. I lodged a complaint online with my receipt ID number n got no response. That's fine. They're not interested in rectifying their error or my $$ so I'm changing to other restaurants. This is one of the worst McDonald's around. We don't go there often but when we do it's usually to get the kids ice cream and it never fails, the ice cream machine is always down. We have asked the manager on several occasions to put a sign out so people don't get stuck in between cars in the drive-through just to get ice cream but apparently this is their plan so that it makes people order other things, but we never do. We walked in today, and of course the machine is down and there is no sign notifying about you this. We waited in a line of about 5 to 6 people and didn't find out until we got to the very front that the machine was down. We did not order anything else just walked out. This location has the worst customer service of any McDonalds I've gone too. The milkshake machine machine is always down. I rarely go to McDonalds because the food is so bad, but I had a taste for a sausage McMuffin. So I went over and ordered a breakfast meal. I asked for an orange juice for the drink because I don't drink soda or coffee. They told me there was a $1.70 upcharge for the orange juice. I checked the price of a coffee which was $1.40. So they wanted to charge me $3.10 for a small orange juice. Yeah right, I said no thank you, I'll just get the sausage mcmuffin and a water. They tried to charge me $.30 for the water. I asked for the manager and he told me I have to pay for the cup. I asked if this was a joke. He said if I bring my own cup he wouldn't have to charge me. I'M DONE WITH MCDONALDS FOR GOOD!
