Food wise, the burgers are great and come loaded. The service is really good and friendly as well. The breakfast burrito was hot and served OK but when I asked for Ortega chilies, it was little at best for as much as they charge extra for. Ambience is relaxing and casual and there's nothing Stressful whatsoever. To any of my antelope valley friends who go to primos on 50th and Avenue L they charged me too much for what I ordered, so I was suspicious and when I asked for an itemized receipt they were upset. when I asked for the added items to be taken (that I didn't order or could have been mistaken for ordering??) off they told me, "oh that's too much for you? Got it." And kept making remarks on how poor I was for not wanting to pay for the additional charges and items they placed on my card. I then just asked for a full refund and left. When I went there and ordered food for my wife the board said $10.99 and they charged me $11.99 they said it was past 11:00 and the price on the board is a special before 11:00 and I told them well you should be posting it not being sneaky about it. And on top of that they have a surcharge fee that is breaking the California State Franchise tax law and one of my friends and I will be reporting them. I gave them one year to make the change because I told them over a year ago and they still decide to break the law. So now they will be reported and when they are reported they will be investigated and fined. I gave them ample time to correct their mistake, but they choose to be Crooks. Which explains why they have a 2.2 rating. I don't know why I didn't go to Tom's, I usually do. I guess I was in a hurry and they were close to my house. The food was terrible . I ordered the chicken fries thinking it would be a new take on the asada fries . I was wrong . The fries were overly salted and it had nacho cheese sauce that was cold . The chicken wasn't grilled or wasn't fried , I can't explain what was it . My husband ordered eggs , rice and beans . We could have gone to Chili's and had a sit down dinner for that amount of money. Now on to the food quality. The grilled chicken dinner had 1 piece of chicken that was so thin and small it couldn't satisfy a mouse. The fries and zucchini were so over cooked and over seasoned they were not edible. The salad and bread were the only things decent. The regular cheese burger, terrible. Asked for no onions, and it seemed like they put extra. The fries with the kids meal, again, overcooked and over seasoned. This place is going down the drains and quick. I have been a customer here since I was in high school (mid 30s now). The service used to be great back then. Now the service is absolutely terrible. They're just rude, make faces if you remind them they forgot something you ordered, etc. The lady I just had serve me released my drink before I touched it, I barely caught it, things were forgotten, she rolled her eyes at me, and there wasn't a single "sorry" or "please", or "thank you". Can't do it ever again Primo on 50th I have you chance again and you failed me. I ordered a family 4 pack double cheeseburgers burgers with 1 extra fry. Charged me $58. I get home to see i actually got single cheeseburgers and all 4 sodas were just the carbonated stuff no syrup. I call and they tell me no you order single. I'm like no I didn't the guy even confirmed doubled and said I'll have your price at the windows. Plus a week before I got the family 4 pack single burgers and paid $34. Primo closes at 9 PM. I arrived at this Primo on 50th Street West Quartz Hills, at 8:50. I could clearly see through the window that the gentleman that was on the grill was knee-deep into cleaning when I got to the speaker I announced I'd like to place an order and the gentleman says we close our cooking area down and 850 why don't you post on internet you close at 8:50 not 9:00 it would make a lot more sense. I wouldn't have driven 15 minutes to get there knowing that I was gonna be there before 9:00 to find out that you were closed, this is not the first time that this has happened. In my opinion, the french toast special isn't that great. I got it a few times before I gave this review. I wanted to be fair. My 1st & 2nd experience was not the greatest because my French toast was just too soggy. I enjoy my French toast being actually toasted; a little crisp (well done) to withstand the butter and syrup. If your French toast is heavily battered but very little cooking time, then that doesn't make for quality French toast. I was displeased and disappointed with my meal, so I trashed it. read more

My family of 8 has eaten at Primo Burger regularly over the last 3 years that we have lived in this area. However, they have lost me and my family as a customer. I purchased my daughter a cheeseburger combo meal. I was given a single receipt for a single charge. The next morning I noticed in my bank app that I had been charged for the combo twice. I called Primo and explained. They said the second charge could be a bank hold and to call them back when I confirm that I am charged both transactions. The next morning, I see that both transactions posted confirming that I was charged twice. I then called Primo back, per their request the day before, and again explained the situation. After explaining, they asked if I called the bank to dispute, and I said no because the day before you requested that I call you. They asked me if I wanted to go through the bank or have them refund me and I said it would be easier for you to refund me and I'll be there shortly. When I arrive, they immediately begin to give me an attitude for showing up. They state that they can't just refund me and I need to dispute the charge through my bank. I then question why they offered to refund me and allowed me to drive over there if they weren't going to refund me. They continued to argue with me and take zero accountability, and did not even try to make it right that I wasted my time driving there, even though I was following the advice that they gave me. I had no issue disputing the charge through the bank, my issue is that I followed their advice and then they give me an attitude for following their advice. Not only did I never receive an apology from them for double charging me, they didn't apologize for the having me drive over there. They could've owned it and acted like it was a miscommunication issue. Instead, the woman justifies double charging me by mentioning that they use hand written manual tickets and it happens sometimes. A gesture of a coffee or a soda would've gone a long way to easing the situation as I stood there. I was treated as if I was the problem. Before leaving I asked to speak with the manager, Juan, and I was told that he would not be in until 1pm and to call after 1pm. I called literally 1:02pm and was told that he left for the day. My family truly enjoys Primo, and we try to avoid corporate restaurants. Due to the size of our family, we can easily spend $50-$70 there sometimes. However, they now have lost a customer over the mishandling of a single cheeseburger meal. We will be looking for a new burger place. read more

If you want a good double cheeseburger with some good fries, this place is the best. Know that it's an old style burger joint. This isn't a gourmet dining experience. But for my money, after a rough day at work, the burgers are 100% on point. Staff has always been great, and the place is clean with an open cooking area so you can see.
