DO NOT GO TO THIS MCDONALD'S!!!!! First off I am a local and I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt every couple of months or so but doesn't matter. Every time we try the Robertsdale McDonald's it is highly disappointing, cold food, refried fries, and really crappy management/ownership. They have two drive thru speakers and at least 3 times I've been there they say we'll be with you in a moment only to take the other speakers orders and ignore me until I pull to the window. (Tonight I sat at the drive thru speaker waiting while 3 cars pulled up to the other speaker and had there orders taken). One time I placed an app order got to the speaker and they told me they were closed after I sat in line for 42 minutes, they turned the lights off and everything. I seriously think corporate needs to intervene!!!!!!! read more

First off .I do not eat at Mcdonald's there food quality is below par and no matter where you go service your is awful. Myself I spent over 15 yrs working , running and owning restaurants so this is not a rant. If it wasn't for my 2 yr old grandson living there fries I would never enter a parking lot. 1. Drive thru cash only because of lack of cashier . 2.Went inside had to order from kiosk not terrible . 3. Older gentlemen that apparently they all knew went to register to order a senior coffee , cashier said I guess I can take your order here . Then he could not figure out how to ring up a senior coffee, so he asked someone no one helped , so he cashed out register and asked him to hold on . Team leader of some sort preceded to scream (with a mask ) at him thst now the register would've short in front of everyone but still did not ring up customer stayed over by fryers screaming and then got in her phone . The cashier was wearing sandals with no socks .. Which is disgusting in a restaurant work environment. I finally got my food and gentlemen still had not been rang up for coffee and not received his coffee .. As I stated service is terrible no matter which store you go in which in turn has given restaurants especially fast food a bad name , Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Let me start off by saying I HATE this McDonald's. The customer service is ridiculous, because there is none! You literally walk through the doors and because they want you to use the kiosk no one even acknowledges you. They get the order in the back put it in a bag and throw it on the counter. They call your number and walk off before you get to the counter I guess so you won't ask them anything. I literally watch and elderly couple struggle to order on the kiosk and no one that was standing around by the fry station even looked up. They are very nonchalant and have no sense of urgency. They could at the very least acknowledge people as they come in...or is the the new way to handle customers. I actually came inside today because everytime I go thru the drive thru the line is crazy long, you sit there about 10-15 minutes and when you leave the the food is cold! I always take a break from this location and then try it again, but nothing ever changes unless the I guess the district manager is in the building. Nice looking guy with a beard and glasses and not dressed in McDonald's gear. Everytime I've encountered him things seem to running as they should, I know he can't be in every restaurant all the time, but Robertsdale is need of some new talent. They spent alot of money remodeling this store, but for what reason, when the food is cold and the employees don't give a damn and the management doesn't give a damn either. And when you complain they look at you as if it's your fault THEY messed up! So eat there at your own risk, but don't go there with high expectations. read more

Some things in life are absolute. The Sun will rise, the stars will shine, and this Mcdonald's frappe machine will always be broken. If I ever find myself actually receiving a frappe from this restaurant, I will probably tumble into a black hole of endless doubt that compels me to question everything about reality. Went and got dinner for me and my boyfriend. Got a Big Mac meal and a 10 piece nugget meal. Paid for my food and in the background there was employees in the screaming at each other( using very foul language) I'm sure if there was anyone in the lobby they heard it. There was no line got my food very quickly. Got my receipt and drove to the next window and before I could even pull up to get my stuff the guy had my drinks out the window already and when I grabbed them he shoved them at me almost making me drop them. Got home got the food out, in a large fry container wasn't hardly any fries in either of them. Instead of getting the 10 piece chicken nugget box they gave me a 4 piece box and a 6 piece box and shorted me 3 nuggets. The Big Mac which is a signature meal there, comes with Big Mac sauce no instead it had ketchup and mustard and the onions wasn't the chopped ones they normally use it was the outer slimy skin layer and it was a chunk. read more

I was the only one in the drive through, had ordered 2 combos and a happy meal and I was sitting at the pickup window for about 15 minutes! No one was inside and this was a slow day. I have never been so upset with an eating establishment in my life as I am with this McDonald's today. To start off with it was hot and my AC isn't working and my car had been giving me problems cranking if I drive it a bit and turn it off. I was coming from gulf shores to go to atmore and I had a lawnmower in my trunk with the lid tied down (already nervous about that). I decided to pull in to the drive thru and get a large frappe mocha. I saw a few cars there but not enough to consider it overly crowded. When I pulled around to place my order there was only a utility truck there placing his order. He pulled forward and when I pulled up I placed my order. Large frappe mocha. Your total is $4.35 at the first window. When I pulled around and the utility truck had paid there were 2 cars in front of him. One at the 2nd window and one in front of him. There was not enough room for him to pull up so I could actually get to the window to pay so I waited. In the meantime cars behind me started closing in against me making a longer line and impossible for me to move. . We were just froze there for what seemed to be avery long time. Some of the cars behind me started blowing their horns and some were leaving as I would have but I was sandwiched in line and could not move. About this time my car started running hot and sounded like it was going to go dead. I knew if it went dead I would not be able to get it cranked for an hour or more. The truck was finally able to move up so I could pay and when I got to the window the cashier was facing the other way. I had to reach out and knock on the window in order to get her attention. I gave her the exact change and told her my car was running hot and asked her if she could get my drink through this window so I could drive off faster. (Other McDonalds have done this out of courtesy at other times so I didn't mind asking). She said she would but she took forever taking my money and ringing it up. Then I asked her again about getting it for me and she left the window as if she was going to get it but she never came back. I barely made it to the pickup window because my car was jumping so bad.so the lady handed it out the window and I just took the drink and left,barely stopping. I had to drive around the parking lot awhile because the idling had my car wanting to cut off. After it smoothed out I was able to get back on hwy 58 and start home. Thus was totally uncalled for. The entire reason I went to the window was for faster service. I will never stop at thi I am in atmore now and I am wondering which part of "my car is running hot would you mind getting my drink" did she not understand. It wasn't the food the frappe was good but that girl/woman was so uncaring and inconsiderate. The 1st window was not busy because they were waiting on 2nd window to catch up. I will never stop there again and the girl that was there taking orders needs to be fired. She had blonde hair and I think she was pregnant. That was about 4:00or 4:30 pm Sunday June 18th. I work in retail as a manager so I am very careful how I score my visits to each location but this is the worse review I have had to give ever. read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible!! Took forever to get our food, there was a security cameras RIGHT BESIDE the pick-up window! Felt invasive and ridiculous that they chose THAT spot to put a camera. Horrible staff! They have 2 lanes open but only really use one sometimes. I waited in the second lane for 10 mins while they kept taking everyone's orders in the first lane. Went to Robertsdale McDonald's a couple of weeks ago and they had no drinks. My son just went there again and was told the same thing, they have no drinks. When you eat a meal you tend to need a drink. Kind of defeats the purpose of fast food if you have to get your meal one place and drinks at another! I have visited this location in three separate occasions. The staff is rude and the management is even worse. I went thru the drive-thru and was the only car the first time. I waited two minutes to be greeted at the menu board and then it took ten minutes from there to get my order. It was chicken nuggets and fries. When I notified the management, they declares that they had a good shift and they could not believe my experience. I then called their franchise owner, who left a message on my phone. When I returned her call I received her voice mail and left a message. Over two months later sill have not received a response from the owner. Today I went into their establishment to get breakfast and a manager took the order failed to give me a receipt and walked off. Then I watched my order sit on the warmer for eight minutes. When I asked to speak to a manager she came to the register, with her purse and jacket have me a receipt and said I understand you are mad. Wow, way to take care of your guests. Never again will I go to this establishment and I would recommend anyone wanting to go to mcdonalds in this area, to go to Loxley or Foley. read more
