Good news: feed tasted good. Bad news: if you try to use the self order kiosk beware it's cash only. No sign telling me that so I put in my whole order, had to delete it and try again. Staff wasn't very pleasant. Finally, I didnt get what I ordered, my steak sandwich was given to me with chicken instead of steak, the pickles I ordered on my sandwiches were missing (my receipt says I want pickles) Why does it seem places like this can't ever get the orders right? First time at this location, last time at this location. Best part about this chain is the causes it supports, and is the only reason I will continue to go. Very disappointed. read more

This was my first visit to a Firehouse Subs and I was excited. I got my order and when I got back to eat it I realized on the first bite something was off. On examining the interior of my sandwich I noticed most of the things I had ordered were missing from the sandwich. This is my worst experience at a sandwich joint ever! At Subway you can watch them make your sandwich to ensure it is made correct while at Firehouse you can't see them and they take longer. I don't like to say 100% never will I ever return but it is highly likely I will avoid this place going forward. read more

I recently visited the Firehouse Subs location in Foley. Upon entering the restaurant, the cashier was polite and provided good customer service as I placed my order. However, I am writing to express my concern regarding how a situation involving myself and another customer was handled by members of your staff. The disagreement amongst customers did not involve the business and we were outside! During the interaction, a male employee came outside and directed inappropriate and disrespectful remarks. He then returned inside the restaurant. When I approached the entrance and asked that he refrain from involving himself in the situation, the interaction escalated. At that point, both the tall and looked malnourished employee and an extremely short male staff member, whom I believe may have been a manager, began yelling inappropriate remarks at me. In response, I raised my voice as well. I believe management should have ensured that employees remained professional and did not involve themselves in a personal dispute that was taking place outside the restaurant. Instead of helping to de-escalate the situation, the employees' actions appeared to contribute to the escalation of the incident. As a paying customer, I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed. While my experience with the cashier was positive, the overall atmosphere created by this incident reflected poorly on the establishment and left me questioning whether I would choose to return in the future. I hope this matter will be reviewed and that appropriate steps will be taken to reinforce Professional Conduct and Customer Service standards among ALL Staff. I would also like to recommend the business obtain background checks and REGULAR drug screenings on their employees because the involvement of the staff was not necessary in an already hostile situation the DID NOT involve them!! read more

Ordered by DoorDash. DoorDash actually got the ordered correct. We ordered the Steak with banana peppers and took off the onions and green peppers and the Italian with NO onions, added bell pepper, black olives and banana peppers. Both sandwiches were not made correctly. The Steak only had meat and cheese with no banana peppers. The Italian was loaded with onions and didn't have bell peppers. It had two pieces of olives and some banana peppers. I called the store to ask why both sandwiches were made wrong and Jean (the District Manager) repeated to me the ordered that was given to them by DoorDash. I told her that the order was correct with DoorDash, so why wasn't the order made like it was ordered? She said that I needed to call DoorDash about any issues. I then asked her since she could read the order correctly, why couldn't the person that was making the sandwich read the ticket and make the sandwich correctly? She hung up. So yes, I will be calling corporate and making a complaint about Miss Jeanne the district manager hanging up the phone on me and not give me an explanation on why the sandwiches were not made the way that they were ordered and I would also like to know why they have people making sandwiches that cannot read. read more

Not all places with the same name have the same standards. I understand the pressure considering the time of day 1:30 ( lunch time) and the middle of a pandemic stage 3 reopening, but everyone is stressed and the last thing expected is attitude but there's plenty of it here. Maybe if they ate too they wouldn't be so hangry when they take phone orders. I am hoping who ever is taking calls had a better day than they are presently. As for the food, always good! I had placed a bad review. Within minutes of my report to firehouse.com site I had a woman calling me...she offered me a free sub and apologized profusely. I said they had already fixed it, but thank you for caring. She is the general manager for Baldwin county (not sure about title) and she took time to call me that fast. Let's just say they rectified the situation and now know exactly what we come for.....a complete refresh of motivation....these girls are awesome! read more

Firehouse subs is always consistently good. I have ordered the same thing for years and my go to will continue to be the hook and ladder.

If you're looking for a place that puts you on hold for 15 minutes to place a to go order, then you have found the spot. If you're looking for a place that withholds the meat on the sandwich, then again you have found the spot. If you are looking for a place that has the staff with a lack of general customer service then again, you have definitely found the spot. This location really tarnished the reputation that a functioning firehouse location possesses. Just disappointed. read more

We just moved here and tried this place for the first time, The food was very good, I had the brisket sandwich. The service left a bad taste in our mouth. Our server was not friendly at all, she was rude to the gentleman in front of us and she was rude with us, her whole body language and attitude says she hates her job! She was even over by the soda machine and talking with her friend and her coworkers had to call her over to help the line, 3 people had come in and she didn't even notice. SMH, her name is Chailina, not friendly at all. There was a little gal in here who was very sweet, her name is, Janie, she was very friendly and made up for the rude little girl. Worst FireHouse Subs location I have ever been to! I will never again give my money to this location or refer anyone to eat here. As I'm in the middle of placing my order the sandwich maker continuously interrupted me making it as unpleasant as possible to even get my order placed. As I'm trying to finish my order the sandwich maker continues to cut me off. I ask her to specifically let me finish my order against my request she continued. First time we have ever eaten here , ordered online and spent 30.00. The sandwiches had lots of meat, good bread but were so soggy we had to cut off most of the bread. So disappointed.none of the instructions were followed. My dil got no bbq sauce at all when we instructed only a little. My husband had mayo , no vinegar and oil as instructed. They do not listen. Subway is just around the corner and they do listen. They have potential for a great sandwich if they listened to how u want it. We were pressed for time and ordered online and specified exactly how we wanted each sandwich.. it was made how they wanted to make it not how we wanted it.. and no one unwraps a sub to see if it is right when picking it up .. I expected it to be correct and only found out after we unwrapped and started eating them what a mess they were .. so not going to take the time and the gas to drive back when they should have been correct in the first place.
