I ordered freshly dropped cookies this morning and was asked to pull to the front to wait on the cookies. As the employee was bringing my small bag of cookies to me, he shoved his bare hands without gloves inside my bag of cookies. I'm not sure if my cookies fell out of the box and hecwas touching them puttingvthem back in the box or not. I'm not sure why he would need to shove his bare hands inside my bag for any other reason but to touch my order! I was so shocked that he would do this right in front of me, with covid issues etc. Very unsanitary! I called the store to inform them of this practice by this employee and the other employee, who I believe was the manager, defended the employee and was rude to me! What does an employee need to stick their hands in your bag for no other reason but to adjust your food!. There was nothing else in my bag but the cookies, no napkins etc. He was touching my cookies with his bare hands! Be very careful going to this Restsurant! This McDonald's is away above average. The staff are all friendly, and seem to be well trained. I don't know why there's so many low ratings by others. The staff is always fast, and things only slow down is when it's really busy. Also, all the FAKE reviews about fry's being refried is NOT true. They NEVER do that. I went to this place Christmas night. From the very beginning, the young man that took my order was very friendly. He didn't rush me at all and looked genuinely happy to be there. He even complemented me saying I had a celebrity look-a-like. With a smile on his face he wished me a good night and Merry Christmas. I am a store manager at a beauty supply store and was THIS close on recruiting him. This was the first time I experienced this level of customer service at a McDonalds. This Rosamond McDonalds including the other McDonalds units owned by the Marro family, like the Mojave CA and the Lancaster 30th W. at Ave L, are extremely poorly run and lack their input of money for upgrades that are badly needed. I can say without and hesitation this owner is the ultimate McDonalds Slumlord. This McDonalds and all of the others owned and run by The "Marro Family of Restaurants" all have old worn out bathrooms, soda machine that are often not working correctly, dirty tables and floors, poor training of employees, poor customer service, dirty broke down bathrooms. As an example, when a urinal is out it will be out often for months, instead of just getting it fixed. They had installed the cheapest residential low quality generic toilet from Home Depot, when they should have paid the money for a high traffic commercial grade. We have lived in the area for 50 years now, so we have been going to this McDonalds since it was opened. This sounds hard to believe, but the roof at this McDonalds leaked rainwater all over tables and chairs for over 20 years before they finally coughed up the money to fix the roof. They had buckets all over every time it rain for over 20 YEARS! That's what I mean by slumlords. Currently the front of the restaurant is painted with two colors, not as a style , but clearly because they didn't want to pay to have the full thing painted. It looks crazy because the paint all of a sudden is a different color on the wall and trim. They do a terrible job training their managers and the managers are bad at training the team members. Which means the service is really bad. I'm always hoping the Marro's will be forced by the McDonalds corporation to sell their store units to some other franchise that cares, so that these units have a chance of being run correctly and we have a decent place to go. The Marro family not only are slumlords by not taking care of their McDonals locations, but they price their food items much higher than all other McDonalds in the area that they don't own. They gouge their customs something terrible. Actually I drive all over California for my work and I can say that their locations always have prices much higher than the other McD locations. It's enough that you will definitely notice. The Marro Family of Restaurants also has a college scholarship nonprofit organization for their tax write-offs setup in their name, where they give only "Dreamers" scholarships for collage, as in free money for DACA people, if you know what that means. Please avoid the Marro Family McDonald's if you can, because they don't deserve your patronage or your money, plus you're not going to be happy with the visit. read more

First off, I am not a McDonald's type of guy. Normally we travel in an RV, but not this trip. We needed a restroom break. The adjacent big name grocery store we used before had disappointing facilities. First thing I liked was the very friendly greeting of the young man working on this Thursday around 5pm. We expected the bathrooms to be worn & well used. We were very pleasantly surprised. I'm a firm believer in that if I use your facilities, I need to help you keep them open. So we got a medium order of fries. Being an In N Out fan, or Five Guys if I'm really hungry, I'd forgotten that nobody has fries like the Golden Arches. I get to the window and ask the employee to toss my other (McDonalds) cup as I took the new one and she said she "can't take trash through the window but there's a trashcan around the corner". LOL. This particular McDonald's drive thru is ridiculously slow,the staff is sometimes unfriendly and chats among themselves. The only reason I gave it 2 stars because the food is still the same but the customer service is lousy and the drive thru line is long.Two of my friends went actually in to test how slow it is by the time I received my order they were waiting out front.Customers turn off they're cars or get out of they're cars to see what the hold up is.Overall its better just to go in you will get your meal faster. read more
