Great service and amazing food. I'll definitely recommend and bring friends over. Presentation was at a very high level and the young girl that took care of the table was just incredible- kept checking and re filling what's needed and more. I didn't expect it at all . was happy and full when left , my guests were happy and full .

Below average to me. The tacos were too dry. The flavor was just ok. My meal was almost room temperature when I got it. My plate was 10.00 for just three tacos a bit of rice and beans that were cold that the cheese topper didn't even melt over them. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I was addicted to the street tacos at the catering trailer, then the restaurant that's open now is my go to for my authentic street tacos and burritos and taquitos ect,,, we have lots of authentic food places here all very awsome and Don Ponchos is a awsome contender here, they are hard workers putting themselves out there catering and on the corner across from Albertsons in the lot with the trailer late at night all year long summer n winter, wind, no matter what! Great food! A blessing for us looking for food after hours around here when other places roll up after hours, and dont want fast food that's open 24 hours, I hope everyone try's it wont be disappointed! Traveling to your camp spot or to mammoth mountain or wherever it's a great break for good tacos and,,,,,

We had the Taco Tuesday for $1.00. The carne asada is flavorful and comes with cilantro and onions. They offer to hot sauces. The green is very spicy and the red is very mild. I didn't ask if there was a medium sauce. The tacos are small, but $1.00 was a fair price. We will be back to try other menu items.

Tried their tacos today for the first time. Taco Tuesday so the price was great because they were a dollar each. But you get what you pay for. There was barely any cilantro and onion on them. Their salsa looked like pickle juice even smelled like it. Definitely not authentic Mexican salsa, and The meat didn't have much flavor. I wouldn't pay more than a $1 for those tacos. I don't think ill be trying any more of their food.

Tonight things were a bit off. We have always been huge fans of this taco truck and the restaurant. We ordered everything asada. That's what was off to us tonight. My son will eat anything and he took a couple bites and he didn't want anymore. I'm not sure if it's a new cook? I definitely will return because they are always spot on. This place, these folks. Been seeing this truck for months, mostly at night as I come home from work. But they're there starting in the afternoon. Anyway, I hit them up on Tuesday taco special day, $1.00 each for mini asada, pollo, carnitas, and cheek meat ( not lengua, and I can't recall the actual name), along with a bunch of other folks. These tacos melt in your mouth, and the sauce has geat flavor and real heat! Everyone there were all in agreement, this place, this truck, the people who make the food here are ACES!!! I've had this taco truck a couple of times now and before I had no problem, until the other day. I ordered a burrito and while I was eating it the rice had a weird texture to it, I was confused. The next day I woke up with food poisoning, and it lasted almost a week of me vomiting and sitting on the toilet. It had to be burrito because between my gf and I, I was the only one that got a burrito and the only one that got sick. The workers are nice I just wished that this experience didn't happen. read more

Driving back from the Tehachapi mountains saw this taco truck off the side of the road and decided to stop. Had their vampiro, vampironeada, quesoneada and regular tacos (for me and my hubby). Everything was so good and fresh! Highly recommend!! Get their red salsa, it's tasty and spicy. read more

Finally tried this place out after finding where they relocated to on yelp. They used to be staged by the tire store right on Rosamond blvd, but now it's off on Sierra hwy and orange st. The truck has colorful lights so u can't miss it. I tried the tacos and the vampiros. The tacos are exactly the street tacos I've been trying to find out here since I came to the AV. Straight up authentic street style taco goodness...just like the Mexican food trucks down in the LA area. First time having vampiros and it was delish! They cost more than the tacos, but they do have a little more meat. If you want street tacos with authentic street pricing and atmosphere, this is it! One thing they didn't have that I'm used to seeing at places like these are the pickled carrots. They did have some good hot sauces, radish, and lemons. read more

I'm addicted!!!! I religiously come here every week. So yummy! The vampiros are they best! I love the cabeza, it's soooooooo tender and flavorful! And the buche is bomb. I hear the pierna is good but that's only served on the weekends. My goal is to try that one day. Every single thing is cooked to perfection here! And the horchata is perfect!! And they usual have a specual, which I adore because I love trying new things! The owners rock too! They're courteous and have the best customer service! Can't wait to go back!! From the San Diego area where Tacos thrive and live with all sorts of varieties and many options to choose from. I've been here a couple months because of work and needed to get my taco fix in somewhere and somehow. Don Pancho's was the closest taco truck nearby and was very excited by seeing all the great reviews. Sad to say i was not impressed. I went to the truck during a taco day where it was a dollar each. Had the Al Pastor/Adobada Tacos and Carne Asada tacos. It was very depressing with the taco only having a sprinkle of cilantro and onion. Where I come from tacos are on another level with Guacamole, Sour Cream, Cheese, and much more. I gave them another shot the next week and was recommended one of their burritos(forgot the name unfortunately) and looked very promising. However, it did not live up to the hype. It sucks that the locals here have no idea what they are missing out on down south near the border, cause i have no idea how this place was rated so good. read more

Wow!!! I grew up in San Diego and would drive into Tijuana for "taco runs" pretty regularly. This place reminds me of home!! The best street tacos that I have had since moving into the area in 1993! Totally authentic and more importantly delicious!! Gave them 4 stars because they didn't have "aguacate" (avocado) like I'm used to but this is definitely the real thing. Will be back!!! read more

I was so happy I found them online for my mom's birthday party in Tehachapi. They were reliable, affordable and the tacos were delicious. They were right on time, did all the set-up, clean-up and even boxed the leftover food. They also brought chips, salsa, beans, rice and lemonade. I later learned that they had also catered another family friend's wedding and they were very happy with them too. read more

This was my first time here and the food was delicious. I got ca tacos and the meat was nice and juicy. Not too greasy. Also had a ca burrito and they were worth it. A good size and the taste was exceptional. Haven't had good tacos like this in a long time. In addition the customer service was great. They were friendly and all smiles. I love their carne asada tacos I never leave disappointed , yet to find a better taco place than this one in the AV. My fiancé loves their tripas tacos extra crispy and he says it's the best ones he has tried up here. We haven't explored anything else on the menu. They are friendly and fast , I always order ahead. read more

Love this taco truck! Never have I regretted this place. Their carne asada tacos are amazing!!! I end up at the taco truck at least twice in a week (had to cut back). I've gotten all my friends hooked on their truck as well. I just wish they had more of those 4-7 happy hours for their tacos. I know my friend and I went back for seconds and ended up getting 20 tacos! Their other food options are delicious as well, but I'm a sucker for those carne asada tacos! This taco truck is very good. A good variety of real mexican tacos. No fusion stuff, just authentic "street tacos". My favorite is the pork tacos. They have every kind and there all good. My son, besides the taco's, likes their huge burritos. They many different items on their menu. They also have a good selection of drinks, mine being the cokes from Mexico. The chef and the other that make it all happen are the nicest people. They are very friendly and genuine. We go every Tuesday for of course " Taco Tuesday ". It's at the on Rosamond Blvd, across from the Chevron station. The permitted and have all the papers, so they are not fly bye nites, but becoming a good addition to our community.
