Disappointing Curbside Experience - Not Worth the Wait…read more I placed a curbside order at 8:13 PM and didn't leave until 8:56 PM--a 43-minute wait for a to-go meal. I even called the store at 8:45 and was told my food would be brought out. It wasn't. Another customer who arrived after me got their food first. Only then did a staff member ask if I was still waiting and finally brought my order. Turns out my food had been sitting under the heat lamp the entire time. The Dr Pepper Blackberry Shake had to be remade on the spot because it was no longer presentable (on the plus side, my wife loved the shake). Unfortunately, the rest was a mess: Cold burgers Terrible fries (I had to reheat them in my air fryer) One burger was supposed to have everything except mustard, but came completely plain A manager (I believe named Dan) spoke with me but said there was nothing they could do about a refund because it was an online order. I spent $44 for what was supposed to be a quick meal. For that price and time, I could've sat down at Applebee's, ordered three full-size burgers with drinks and fries, tipped 20%, and still spent less money for better service and food. Chili's and BWW offer similar deals. Really disappointed this time. Hopefully they can improve the curbside process, because this was not Whataburger's best. At least, I hope it's not.

Finally we get a table and we realize, while the place is half full, there are 3 large parties (10+ people) and the bar is packed (not a seat to be had). We should have just left, but they grabbed our drink order and told us one of the groups was leaving and it was all good. Yeah, no, it wasn't. The Mormon missionary group of about a dozen next to us seemed to have a table, 12 waters and EACH individually ordered a take out meal and had to b checked out as 12 different tickets! The other table of ten on our right seemed to have put in drink and food orders and had been waiting for who knows how long. Finally, after another 15m the hostess asked for our drink orders again and said she would get them as our waitress was taxed. OK. She comes over with two random beers and I look at her and am like, this isn't what we ordered (twice) and she just looks puzzled (about 5 minutes later after wandering and asking around it ends up being two drinks for the table next to us). We still have no drinks. We are about to leave when the waitress comes and apologizes and runs to get our beers. Then she gets our order and can tell we are little annoyed. I must say after this everything came out fast and we got out in like 20m after that - because who wants to sit around and be ignored anymore. Not a great experience. Food was fine. Service was abysmal.
