It's hit or miss with this location but today they were fine so I thought I'd Yelp them. The line was super long in their defense it was lunch time and to their credit I got threw it pretty quickly. Food is Mcdonads...how can you go wrong with buy nuggets and get a fish filet for a buck. Then there is the worlds best coke. I don't know what they do to it but I love their Cokes and it's a dollar for a large size They lost stars for giving me one ranch for 10 nuggets and no ketchup like I asked for. I should have checked when she said it was in the bag. Ask for a hi-c orange, you'll get orange soda. I've told them that only soda would have bubbles and they will argue u down that it's a hi-c orange this has happened a few times. The employees seem to lack sympathy for making you wait as well, which doesn't help when you're in a hurry. I hate to complain, but this was the absolute worst!!! Went to the self-serve kiosk and put in our order. After I put in the payment, the kiosk failed and it directed me to see the counter. It took at least five minutes for anyone to acknowledge that I was there even though multiple employees looked over. Finally a woman came to the counter and when I explained what happened she asked if I did it right... so I just pointed over my shoulder so she could read the very large black and white notice on the kiosk. At that the woman very impatiently told me I had to redo my order. I even asked her if she could verify whether or not it went through because they did get to the point where the pin pad said. "payment accepted". She looked through me like she didn't understand what I said. So I rephrased "Do you think we should wait and see if the charge goes through my bank? Do you have a order like that already?" and she said "No it won't and if it does, I'll just refund you." She asked to take my order and I told her the first item was the bundle with two cheeseburgers, two drinks, two fries and a chicken nuggets.... However she just kept saying do you mean a #x or a #x? I apologized and told her I didn't know the menu by number, and repeated the contents. She was very put out that I didn't know the orders by number, and so I apologized again and pointed out that was no visible menu anywhere for me to reference to. I explained again I wanted the shareable bundle that had the two cheeseburgers, two drinks, two fries and the chicken nuggets. She very rudely told me which number it was that I should've been ordering, as if I should've known that by number. She started to close out my order and I said I have more items... to which she literally rolled her eyes. She seemed very put out that I had to sign to the little one with me (it is very obvious. This child is disabled, he's visually impaired, and where is very thick glasses, and communicates with ASL) to ask him which happy meal he had asked for. He wanted a burger, I signed to him with or without cheese and she seemed actually disgusted that I had to sign to this child. The employee then snarked at me and said "You don't know what he wants?" I was flabbergasted. I patiently explained I was asking him whether or not he wanted cheese, and that he was my nephew, and not my son and no, I didn't know what he usually orders but I'm asking him, obviously. Her posture was one of annoyance and impatiens. When I can head to ask him what flavor of soda pop he had asked for. When I relayed it she said "Is that it?" But this story doesn't end there! We get our order, and I feel like it's wrong. I am missing two drinks and a 10 piece chicken. Nugget. She tells me that's what you ordered; the bundle you got doesn't come with drinks. So then I have to pay extra for the drinks. I pointed out that we should've gotten 3 of the 10 piece nuggets. I asked for another sauce (we were given two sauces for 30 nuggets) and ask for a to-go bag, to which she throws up her hands in exasperation and turns to get it with this huffy attitude. I had said that we had placed a to-go order when we were forced to go up to the cash register and re-order when the kiosk failed and it gave the message, so it shouldn't have been a surprise for me to ask for a bag. Despite the fact that we got a double bundle plus extra chicken nuggets, she gave me the smallest to-go bag. Not everything would fit in it. At this point I'm not going to ask for another thing and cause a scene. We took our food and sat down so I could pack up. Just sat down when a second McDonald's charge comes through my bank account ... much higher than the first charge. I went to the register with my bank app open, showed her the second charge and I smiled and said "You were right, another charge came through. Can you refund that please?" She insisted on refunding the smaller charge, which I questioned and she immediately dismissed. I asked for a copy of the second itemized receipt, and she claimed it couldn't be printed (possible, but as they had already prepared the order it must at least existed electronically). At this point I have a very hungry special needs kid that has stood at the register for far too long, so I just go with it. All of this could've been avoided if she had just verified whether or not the first order went through before she placed the second order. Would have gone a long way if she'd just been professional in correcting the things that were wrong. Verifying which order we received before she took a second order or even when she refunded the wrong one, for example. It is ridiculous after everything we went through that she would not give me a cup when I had specifically asked for the shareable bundle meal that had two sodas. And I'm not sure if the great value cookies are a standard happy meal item... but that's what was given in our kids meal. The dining area play area were very clean. read more

This is by far one of the most poorly ran fast food restaurants that I have ever been to. We will regularly drive to Riverdale to avoid going to this location. Customer service is slow. None of the employees are personable. Whoever the owner operator is of this location should take a long hard look at who their general manager is in fire them immediately. I will be honest: I have had a lot of trouble with this location and I generally drive to a further away location in Clinton because I've had a lot of problems with this place. They get your order wrong quite often, or you wait what seems like forever for your food here. Unfortunately this visit today today is going to be along those same lines. I'm not feeling well and I didn't really want to drive farther away to Clinton so I decided to try this McDonald's location one more time. I ordered 2 smoothies and one big Mac on the app. Pretty simple order, right? You would think so. I made my order at 5:19 PM jumped in my car and headed to the restaurant at 5:26 PM I received a text telling tell me what my order number was. At 5:27 I pulled in and parked clicked that i was here on the app paid for my order and sat and waited. At 5:39 PM I got a text that that said that it was thanking me for my visit to McDonald's and place come again now I usually get this after I've received my order and they have clicked inside The restaurant that they have delivered it. I haven't received my order haven't seen any kind of movement but the whole parking lot was completely full of cars and nobody had moved the line was literally exactly the same for the entire time that I had been in that restaurant which was more than 10 minutes. So I got in the app and I tried to call because the door was locked they were not having people inside because of covid. I called 13 times. 13 times!!! By this time it is now 5:52 PM And it was pretty obvious they had taken their phone off the hook there was also another car that was parked near me that looked like they were also waiting for their order. I decided to drive around to the other side of the store where the drive-through window is and hope that I was able to talk to somebody that way that way but there was no way I could get in line for the drive-through because it was jam packed with cars there was more than 20 cars that had been sitting there and they were hiczac same cars since I had been there they literally had not moved!! Both lines in the driveway was completely full and both of the lines snaked all the way out into the street. I almost couldn't get out of the parking lot or out of my stall even! I checked the door that was on the other side of the building next to the drive-through and it was open so I went in. There was a large sized boy that was just walking around just walking around wandering through the lobby and walked back into the cooking area. That was a little surprising to me since they had so many people that it had been sitting there waiting for at least 15 minutes if not more. I said excuse me I have an online order and it says that was delivered but I never received it I've been sitting outside for almost 20 minutes. The girl looked at me and then went got a sack I saw my 2 drinks that were just sitting there on the counter over by the warming area which is not good because they were smoothies and they were next to the heat. :( She grabbed napkins and 2 straws stuck me in a bag and handed it to me. She didn't say word she didn't say sorry for the weight she didn't apologize for anything else I can help you with nothing she literally said 0 words to me. I was really irritated but I just left. I drove straight home, gave my daughter her drink, I had my drink, I got the big Mac out , and it was ice cold! It wasn't luke warm, but it was actually cold as if it had been sitting in the refrigerator! I really just don't understand this restaurant. My 1st job was at a McDonald's and I was a floor supervisor. We used to get school busses after a football game all the time, and we would all yell bus! bus! We'd throw 40 hamburger patties on the grill, drop Ali the baskets full of fries, and We'd get ready for a slam of people. And we took care of those people! We worked our behinds off! So I understand what these people should be doing. This wasn't even like that there was half that many people at this restaurant but for some reason they couldn't take care of any of us! And they didn't seem too concerned with that at all! Now I understand things are different right now with covid. everyone is shorthanded. but these people weren't even trying. They didn't say sorry, they didn't give any explanation. There wasn't any communication at all. I will never go to this restaurant again. I will drive that extra 5 to 10 minutes to go to the Clinton store because they're night and day better, even short handed. I live near this location and prefer their hot mocha and burritos. Unlike the franchise on 1900 W (both owned by Watson Management), this place does NOT have burritos all day. Service is still slow, still inaccurate, and the area you can see from the drive-through always looks greasy and unclean. The internal order screens do not differentiate between a mocha and a frozen frappe, so its still a roll of the dice which one you get with your order, then you have to wait in the parking lot while they remake the "HOT" mocha I specifically ordered in the first place. It helps to watch them make it seems like everyone does it differently. No syrup in the cup, no whipped cream, no syrup on the top, and sometimes none of the above. High turnover, poor training, bad attitude. The other franchise in only marginally better, and slower. After nearly 9 years I only go here for convenience. In short, they still SUCK! read more

hey i work at this McDonald's and i haver had so many problems with the staff and when i reach out to someone nothing happens so i decided that it would be best to come here and say it. there is a manager that is named Dezirae she works with high school kids. she will flirt with the boys at work I have seen it my self working there and i have been told by a lot of other employees and a manager that yes she likes to flirt with the boys at work she will bring her husband in to work also to hang out with her and she will leave the kitchen to go hang out with him. there has been times she would hang out with him until the rush was over and when i asked her about it she said that hes helping out in the store because of staffing issues and hes not even clocked in. i have been asking for more hours and more things to do around here and she decided to make me work from two days a week to only one day and it was originally from 4 to 10 but she changed it to 4:30 to 10 and she asked me that if i wanted to work with her or not i said that I don't mind working with her i just don't under stand why i get treated like shit here I NEVER GOT TRIEND ON ANYTHING. i have tried telling her boss Jackob about what is happening and is seems like he doesn't care because they are best friends i have screen shots of that chats with dezirae. Always dirty, always smelly, always pushing you through the drive thru to keep their numbers down, and always led by incompetence. Today I ordered a fruit parfait and a breakfast sandwich. I was confused when I got my food because I was expecting two bags, but the manager that bagged it assured me that everything was there. He put the hot sandwich on top of the cold parfait. I cannot stress enough that he was the manager. If you do not understand simple heat transfer while working in food you should get out now. I've been to this location a few times over the years when the shift manager was SCREAMING at his staff for their mistakes. On one occasion it was a very busy lunch rush and he thought it would be a good idea to gather his staff and reprimand a single employee publicly about preparing an extra item. While we all waited for our food and watched in horror. I try to skip this location as much as possible, but sometimes it is the closest and easiest. This location is terrible. I went here to get the Szechuan sauce as I am a huge Rick and Morty fan. So nice job rock and Morty. Hats where it ends. I mean it is McD's so you expect quick service. Well I got the opposite.
