I was at Minneapolis Airport and needed some breakfast. I did not want to stray too far from my gate and go to some other place. I wanted something I could eat quick before I take my next flight. So i settled for McDonald's wanting to have their Big Breakfast. So I had to make a line... a long one since even though they have self serve kiosks to order... the kioks aren't available for breakfast... why?!?!? The food took a while to make adding to my frustration. Thankfully the food was alright. This McDonalds also has a rather large area to sit and eat to its side, so that was a positive. They need to make the ordering process at Breakfast more convenient. read more

This place is a complete rip off like all airport food. They conveniently don't participate in the rewards program which makes even more of a rip off. My 4$ meal at a regular McDonald's is 11.93$ here. That's a 139% increase. I'd rather starve than pay that junk. read more

I witnessed the largest women staff members being abusive to one customer after another. When it was my turn I ordered a breakfast meal exactly as shown in the picture on the menu board with juice for $9.99. They told me the total was $12.00 because they upgraded to medium juice. I said I ordered exactly what was shown and the large woman came at me screaming "juice is an upgrade and I ain't be writing the menu boards." Why are they intentionally so mean? Where is a manager? For starters I ordered the steak and cheese bagel which was happy to see. Unfortunately the 4 other people who ordered after me got their meals and left. I was the last to get my order, can't help but feel if it wasn't because of the long conversation the people behind the counter were having. So moving forward.... I get the sandwich and hash brown find an open seat and open the sandwich to see maybe five onion slivers, very little if any looked like no sauce. It's 11pm and your 5hr flight lands in MSP. You haven't eaten since lunch. You know you'll be catching a shuttle to your hotel for the night, where the restaurant will be closed. You'll catch a few winks before your next flight departs in 7hrs. At this point, you can forfeit food for the night, get the the hotel & order whatever is still delivering- reducing your sleeping hours to a sinfully low number, or... eat at the one place open in the airport. We opted for C. This was the first time in years we'd eaten at McDonald's. Service was painfully slow, the order kiosk was easy to use & the food was made fresh. Overall, it was a life-saving experience that brought us back to our teen years. read more

It's McDonalds, so not much to say. You order from a kiosk that is malfunctioning, doesn't offer the same things posted on the menu board and couldn't seem to compute their own rewards program. Anyway, my oldest was starving, so we ordered quick and got our food reasonably fast, all because of the one employee who was actually working. This little lady was expediting, packing and serving orders, while the three other 'loafs' stood around doing nothing. We got our food and my son asked for a straw, to which one of the guys simply pointed to the bag as a response. So we get back to our gate only to realize there was no straw in there! Ugh! so we ordered a big breakfast, strawberry milkshake and a mt McDonald's milkshake. so my daughter and her friend noticed that the eggs were undercooked and looked like plastic. my daughter ate it and then she drank the shake. weird taste..and when she tried the steak she spit it out as soon as she put it in her mouth. She described it as eating straight up salt. She then got very drowsy and it was hurting to talk and stay awake. She then started to gag and then she threw up the eggs and then the shake. MSP/Lindbergh Terminal has a wide variety of nice meal choices for early arrivals or longer layovers. The only reason I ended up at this McDonald's was that I was craving an breakfast sandwich at lunch time and this seemed like the easiest and cheapest option. Otherwise and a little later, I'd be somewhere else that involved a sandwich and a beer. This McDonald's is small and you have to use the self-service kiosks to order. The common area is small and seating is limited. I managed to find a place next to the window and enjoyed my choice which was served quickly. I know what I expect from McDonald's and I usually get it. read more

Located just down the way from the D gates, this McDonalds has both self serve kiosks and a normal ordering counter. It made it so I, and my grandparents, could order at the same time! Service was quick and the product as expected! They also accept coupons from the app - we got some nuggets for $1 I think. My review is for McDonald's near the D gates. For me, it was a plus being able to order my meal with the kiosks and not have to deal with a surly teenager who feels that she has better places to be than handing unhealthy food to people heading to interesting places. Yeah, the gal shouting out numbers and handing out food could need a bit of cheering up, but this is McDonald's in an airport. I got a simple cheeseburger (programming the sandwich via the kiosk to skip the pickles) and a small fries. A decent snack for $3.50 and it was prepared as ordered. It's A-OK. Tip: Climb the three flights of steps to the Observation Deck and watch planes on the runway while you nibble. There are chairs there but no tables. read more

How often does one find a Starbucks bigger than McDonalds? Such is the case at this tiny little Micky D's in Terminal G at the Minneapolis Airport. Across the carpet there is a large Starbucks (complete with lines) and this "express" McDonalds, which most will agree is an oxymoron, because there is nothing express about it. There is no real "staff," it's essentially run by 1-2 employees max. When the lines get long, the employees become inundated and aren't able to crank stuff out quicker. Slower Midwest pace perhaps? When the person at the register slowly plunks away numbers while the other is slowly wrapping sandwiches with no sense of urgency, the stereotype for that moment becomes painfully true. And because the place is small, there is even less room for lines. Hunger, the sole reason for many of my bad food decisions, lead me astray once again. My fish filet was terrible. My friend's chicken burger was poorly put together. So what's with the 2 stars? The fries were good. Really good. We were just that hungry. read more

Ok this McDonald's is confusing as hell. Right away it seems like you can only order from the kiosks, but then you realize they have a whole normal ordering process around the corner. The kiosk didn't show several options that were actually available (namely strawberry banana smoothie and iced caramel macchiato). So if you want a true representation of the menu, I would order around the corner. read more

Food is exactly what you expect from McDonalds; it's quick, it tastes fine, and it's close to my gate. No complaints about the food. I do have a problem with the employee at the front counter today. She's very rude. When I picked up my order, I hesitated at the counter because the straw was buried in the folds of my bag, so I thought it had been forgotten. The man at the front counter was very polite, and gently told me that the straw had been placed in the bag. The woman, however, barked "STRAW AND NAPKIN IN THE BAG" at me, and I left feeling like she hated her job and her customers. She needs a McAttitude adjustment. read more

This McDonald's was by far the most accurate of all I've been to. They got our order down almost 80% perfect! The cashier had a severe crush on me but I had a flight to catch, so he was just going to have to wait until my wife and I got back to MN for some of that McLovin'. But I digress, very good food. My breakfast burritos were labeled steak but they were sausage, I know It's a sick joke but I got It and I appreciated the humor. A few days ago when I stopped in here prior to traveling out to my home airport after visiting with a friendly group's meetup, I had to stop in here - not once, but twice! I didn't really have too many problems here. My food was the way I've had them at all other places (though the box to the 10pc nuggets was ajar when I received it) and although I didn't more thoroughly examine my soda and 2 McDonald's Apple Pie pockets, I know that it still a good decision to make. I had some trouble finding some seating here. I didn't realize that they had some seating in back of the self-service ordering kiosks over on the one side of the McDonalds. And on top of that, don't you think 3+1/2 kiosks is kind of overkill? I know you're busy at this airport (as most airport locations are), but 3 1/2 is too much, when you factor in that some people actually choose to order and pay at the regular registers out front (along the main walkway). read more

For some reason, you never seem to forget the violent gutwrenching episodes of upchucking in your life. For me, I actually had gone over 2 decades since my last episode of porcelain hugging. That last time was courtesy of my little sister who offered me a sunbaked, expired Caramello bar that caused us to both simultaneously hurl shortly after consumption. Fastforward to present date. On my most recent business trip, I had to catch a connecting flight at MSP airport. As I had 15 min to rush between Concourse D and F, I wanted some quick food on the run. When I saw the comforting golden arches, I rushed over and ordered 2 cheeseburgers. I was quickly served and I started powerwalking and eating simultaneously to my departure gate. The cheeseburgers themselves were on the very dry side but I wasn't going to complain since it was my only meal of the day so far. I caught my next flight right on time. Within 90 min of my departure, I started developing intense nausea. Before blaming the cheeseburgers off the bat, I attributed my nausea to motion sickness (which is kinda stupid since I never get this). For the next 3 hours, I tried ignoring the building nausea. When I landed and got home, I actually tried going to bed early for the night to see if I could sleep off the persistent uneasiness my gut was feeling. This however didn't happen. At 12:30 a.m., I basically was woken up with chills and intense stomach cramping. I rushed to the bathroom and made it just in time to have Tosh.O-style projectile vomiting. I don't think I ever had such crazy vomiting. With my bit of medical background, I knew that the short incubation period between meal and violent puking meant that the cheeseburgers were likely loaded with Staphylococcus Aureus exotoxin...not pleasant at all. I took the time to write this review within hours of my whole incident last night since I hope it'll protect others from the same fate. read more

I was having a stressful day getting to the airport and one of the workers here, Reginald Moore, (he gave me permission to use his name in our convo) gave me such a great experience that it made the rest of the day great! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone, not just me, had our needs met. Even when everyone had everything they needed, he continued to show an excellent work ethic and cleaned the tables and made sure everything was okay. He was a great conversationalist and talked to us as well as other patrons when he wasn't busy just to show us that he cared about how we were. He went above the requirements and showed what good customer service is. If you are lucky enough to be here while Reginald is here, you are very lucky! The food was just normal McDonald's, no better, no worse, but Reginald Moore has really made this experience so much better! read more

McDonald's is my most admired corporation, and I eat there 1-4 times each week. The McDonald's location at the airport is poor. They are fast at taking the orders and staging the beverages, but the food takes an exceedingly long time, and somehow it's cold when received. read more

After 20 minutes passing and not hearing my number called I decided to go up and ask about it. After telling them I had been waiting for 20 minutes one women said to me "yah well everyone is waiting". Finally a few moments later a different lady asked for my number and checked and couldn't even find it so she asked for my receipt and got my order together in 30 seconds. I then saw there was no hash brown so I asked her and she came back with one. I also then noticed as I was about to leave there was no straw in my bag for my drink so I asked for a straw and she said "here is your straw now I can stop dealing with all that you need". Needless to say, I should have know my food was going to take a while when she started loosing track of the numbers and just started shouting out what people ordered. I'm sure my order was taken by someone because of that and I had to wait and receive rude customer service because of it.
